That reminds me of Bugzees64 delays, which I'm sure Andy's also familiar with. Except amiami doesn't take money upfront for preorders. That reminds me, I got amiami payment request this morning for Doraemon figure that was on preorder(lol). I think my Inno Civic preorders were pushed back though, probably to August.

I don't know how that's even possible, but that sure sounds like the claim to sell that many in less than an hour. :crazy:

Yo guy, I don't even remember how many years we waited for this to release.

I'm currently experiencing this with some IGs, and will probably be experiencing it with some other IGs.

Maybe it would benefit us both if we have a "competition". The first to stop collecting toy cars entirely. Both of us on stage, sitting in chairs. Hands on our wallets. Eyes peeled back, screen shoved in our faces with endless streams of advertisements of the latest and greatest coming out on the market. Preorder now! Buy now! 20% Discount happening! Who can keep their wallets closed the longest????

I told you, I'm going into retirement, but I haven't yet! I originally hoped to be out of it by the summer, but that didn't quite happen, obviously. I still have pending preorders. I've sold so many cars, but so many more to go. My new goal is to be out of it by the end of the year. :nervous:

You guys and your silly retirements. :lol: Just cut back. I hardly buy anything anymore, just stick to the best of the best and avoid anything that's super expensive. You can still collect and not spend a fortune. ;)

Well, I think it's important to realize we all have different approach to hobbies & collecting. What works for you doesn't necessarily work for other collectors. It's not at all about expenses for me(unless they are raising prices beyond what their product is worth).

Really stylish dioramas. Slot cars are such a cool throwback, but will they sell. :D
 
It looks more like TLV zamac. Polished & clearcoated, not that nasty rough looking "raw" finish.
