Haul for today
Basics saw some P case cars and got two Jurassic world cars

Found two Tokyo Torque cars the bre Datsun 510 and surprisingly the R34 which I saw at a few Meijers, skipped the other 510s and the matte black r35 didn’t see the 240Z rally

And completed the first batch of the 50 favorites

Finally found the Team Transport stuff. Love the Fifteen52s on the 356, but I can't stand the Magnus Walker decos.

I still can’t find the Advan truck. All I’m seeing now are the 356 peg warmers.

It’s a cheap alternative to the non carbon hood version. The price has dropped below preorder price!

Get some acetone and rub off the carbon and you have a normal version for a fraction of the current scalping price

Haven’t seen the real Lamley aka GTPLamley lately. He really quit?

I know he got the TLV transporter a few days ago. I'm not sure that he's entirely out the hobby just yet.

Dang dude. I saw the post asking about this, probably couple of hours ago. I've been busy, so I had to come back to this to take the picture & I just noticed the very first reply had the pic. Absolutely consistent with how my day went today.

I used to like monster trucks as a kid, especially the Bigfoot, so I picked this one up. If they come out with the 80's one, that's the one I really want.

I guess that does sound tad high. I've never seen these in person, but I just Googled them & I'm not really digging the liveries or big cars/small transport combo either. Not a attack on Mattel or Hot Wheels. Just my honest take..... "Carry On" casting does look really cool.

But also, so right.

If John's Michael Jordan, I could be the Baby Jordan(Harold Miner rofl).

Now you just need to order some cars to fill it, amirite.

I usually hang one Hot Wheels at work(right now, it's the GL Bigfoot), but I'm not really into displaying. I'm just gonna stash this.

On the transporters, I just sold the Advan and Greddy trucks on eBay since I only wanted the cars and they sold for $13.50 and $12.50.

That's cool and all but I think you've completely missed the point of a "display case"...

Yes & no. Going by traditional common sense, sure. Display case, used to display stuff.

We are talking about Hot Wheels though, and it's the 50th Anniversary release. IMO, there is ZER doubt that stuff like this is collectible.

I stopped by Hot Wheels section at Walmart today. No display case, no transporters, some Mopar series cars & other neat stuff. Sad part is the collectors in this area. Aisle looks like a hot wheel bomb went off. Crap collectors picked out, then decided not to follow through with purchase, so they just leave stash of handpicked hot wheels on random shelves, Retro Entertainment Deadpool stolen off the card & they leave the card hanging by Matchbox, etc. They had M2 Haulers with (I assume)cars stolen out of the trailer, too. Just looking at the stuff out of place, you can tell it wasn't little kids, but adult collectors/scalpers pulling this kind of stuff in my neighborhood. Sad!! 👎

I don't think he has much of a reason to come back here anymore. You gain a whole new active audience when you get into Youtube channeling. It's a lot of work to keep telling people to subscribe, follow on twitter, instagram, smashing that bell for notifications, and even asking for patreon donations with every episode.
