carbon fiber
I saw someone say these are just clip on hoods and can be prized out.
So the hood can be removed easily? The original casting was made with the hood as a separate piece in order to minimize the cost of producing pre & post-facelift versions. They did the same thing with the Honda S600/S800 coupes.
So the hood can be removed easily?
So what does separate mean? I'm slow.I don’t think they are “designed” to be removed
And Lamley no longer being here? No loss.
So what does separate mean? I'm slow.
I hear you.The hood is like the headlights, wing, side mirrors, wheels etc. They are plastic parts added to the car.
It is just some creative person I saw on IG who removed the hood. It would be like removing the rear wing or side mirrors, but I wouldn’t be brave enough to do it.
Bling bling version
Not sure about that colour at all but it's such a cool casting. Slowing down on TLV's but I might make an exception for this.
These turned out to be pretty cool pieces. The “carbon fiber” actually has a texture to it rather than just being a flat decal.

It's the EF Civic all over again. Sorting through each one trying to find just a single car that has b-pillar tampos that line up properly...
(the CF texture is far too big IMHO)
It's not completely riveted so the base can just slide off. Also it's hard to tell from the pics on T-Hunted, but the chassis looks like it's riveted properly, in which case that front lower bumper is appalling, it makes the car look like a dodgem (bumper car)!
That's reassuring, Hopefully it doesn't end up looking so 'fat'!It's not completely riveted so the base can just slide off.
So are TLVNs not supposed to be sealed like Tomica Premiums?
Only have the red RX7 on order, which I placed at the same time as the yellow. And then my Tomytec collecting is finished.
