Saw that and the Tarmac yellow version today on Facebook. The production run is now 2000, for the yellow one anyway. But to be honest I’ve lost interest in 1:64 Ig now. Mainly because I’ve set myself a cut off date for any preorders to the end of the year. Still have some delayed preorders that will run over to next year but I’m not getting anymore otherwise.

Although this might be of interest to you since you’re into 1/43 and up. I’m off to Tokyo this weekend and plan to buy a 1/43 as a farewell present to myself for ending my diecast collecting. Thought of either hunting for a Ig or Makeup. What other brands should I look out for?

buy a 1/43 ... for ending my diecast collecting.

IRONYYYYYYYY

If you're going to do that, I'd get one bigger car.

Spark
Minichamps
TSM

These brands dish out many 1/43s, Spark and TSM of which I believe primarily focus on this scale. I'd inspect IGs carefully. I do notice they have a habit of making some headlights appear way bigger than they actually are (Skyline R32 being a notorious example).

good luck though. You may end up pitting yourself into another scale as Japan probably caters to more 1/43 collectors than 1/18s.

Great haul today.
Found a Barbie Vette at one Walmart

Street Fighter series at a Meijer

Then at the Walmart I used to work at I found new Matchbox

And completed the 50 favorites.
Also at that Walmart I found this 5 pack where the 5 pack shippers were

It’s a 1998 50s cruisers pack, bar code worked and paid $5 for it. Thought the 32 Ford was a swap but they’re all the original cars that were in the pack, no clue how that pack got in the store.

My AmiAmi FD RX7 RZ arrived yesterday. I only paid for it last Thursday, so that's very speedy delivery.

What a smart little model. No way I'm going to be dabbing tiny bits of glue onto it to afix the mirrors, though!

Hah wow. Didn't take long to announce the next colour.
I would love to have this model in my collection, but I fear that I won't because it will sell out instantly. Where can I pre-order this car? Or if it isn't available for pre-order, when will the model be released? I'm kinda desperate...

Yes, AmiAmi has great service.

There's really no need to be all that desperate, these aren't hard to find like certain 30 y.o Hot Wheels.

Target date is January. Probably preordering at daboxtoys is your best bet.

I would also check on this site: https://cldc.store/collections/ignition-model/1-64?sort_by=created-descending

Find that group on Facebook for a 10% discount code.

March release date for the TLV F40. As expected it's going to be pricey. 6,800 yen (roughly $83 AUD). Looks great but I might give this a miss.

Other than that, the hard-top and soft-top
Dino 246s are also made available for preorder. They are quite a bit cheaper than the F40 as well (by >15 USD), although they still require a hefty 38 USD. Judging from pics of the interior, their interior are more detailed than the F40 as well, as there are more painted parts.

All pics for the spider version here and coupe version here.

I must say, the engine of the Dinos look more crisp to me compared to the F40. I don’t like the coupe’s headlights though, and the spider comes with a detachable top, which is a nice touch. 👍

One word of caution though: you will have to install the side mirrors of the Dinos yourself.

$83? Yeah nah 🤬 off Tomytec.

The 787 was a horrendous enough ordeal (every time I see my one it really gives me the poos). Not risking their halfarsery ruining the F40.

Anyone here have any experience with Letgo for selling stuff? PayPal and Ebay hasn't worked out for me so I'm trying something different.

As expected. Never have bothered to install anything on my TLV's. No way is superglue going anywhere near any of my models.

Dino's look really good too, especially the soft top. 👍
Still have not preorderd.

Got a couple of Choro-Q's on order for March already. As good as the F40 looks. Think I'm going to leave at that.
