Bloody hell, that sounds like it going to take a while. Did they make it all unscathed?

Yes fortunately. For all my loose cars I wrapped them in paper towel and then put into a plastic box.

Then put into airtight hard plastic containers. Survived a two month shipping journey.

1 down, 12 more to go...

but it will be worth the effort :)

Not really emigrating, rather returning home. But it upsets me to see HK in the mess it’s in now. Stay safe.
Oh well, sucks to hear that. But I agree that when circumstances become a bit too unbearable then perhaps the only way to solve it is to leave. :indiff:

Thanks and good luck with your new place to stay!

Nice to hear from you again, mate. All the best with the unpacking. 👍

Edit: TLV Legacy Wagon's being released in May. Was interested but might end up giving them a miss. The colors aren't really doing much for me.

I've already pre-ordered the red one. Although it's more like a maroon colour.

Finally found the Jag Transporter and some of the F&F Rewind. Not a fan of it, but figured I'd at least pick up one model of the CSP311 if the Japan Historics 3 release is hoarded.

Also, never heard of this model. But I found a Mercedes 2.6 at the local flea market. Don't recall seeing this one before. (Took the photo off some website)

That's the tip I saw on one of my Facebook groups this week.

Might've been the same one I saw.

I'm leaving the cars inked overnight, which seems to work, and scrubbing the tampo off with some cheap toilet roll. Some need 4 or 5 times going over with the pen (a cheap 4 pack of whiteboard markers from Morrisons, £2 a pack) and leaving all day or night, but they get there in the end. It may not work so well on matte black as in the light you can still see the decal outline on the bonnet and rear wing of the City Turbo.

The Tesco near my workplace had a mass of newer Hot Wheels in stock this morning. Picked up the white Civic Type R and red VW SP2.

My buddy found me a mainline R32 in grey the other day, too.

Really? I just keep them in their packaging. Glad they arrived safe and so quickly. You're welcome and thank you for the +rep!
I have put them back in the packaging mate, don't worry. However I've had to do away with the packaging for my other vehicles because I'm running short on space. So they just sit loose in my cabinet.

Some more cleaned up. In two minds about the Porsche, but the other 3 are much improved in my opinion. NSX, Huyara and '57 Chevy curing in the background, and a sacrificial Fairlady Z experiment to see how much of a tint the white paint ends up with.

Some tampos seem to come off much more quickly and easily than others. The white stripes on the Fairlady 2000 came off in one go, whilst the yellow and gold on the NSX and Chevy, and the red on the Pagani, require more time and repeated inkings. In a Facebook conversation I've seen it suggested that 20 minutes of whiteboard marker and a scrub with a wet wipe will remove the tampo at once, which I've tried but hasn't worked for me.

The Maverick looks nice.

Haul from yesterday went to a Meijer after work and saw they had a b case, was able to open it but it was short cards so I was only able to find the Unimog treasure hunt a a Honda Monkey that wasn’t on the pegs.

Was lucky to find a 944 and the RV there yet.

found this 5 pack at a different Meijer which also had B case cars.
And found this 240 at a Walmart

Saw a few 22Bs and regular r32s but already had one.

Well, had a surprise, and rather bitter sweat, trip to the antique mall today! I wasn't even aware we were going and I sadly did not have much money, so I didn't get much as a result. :indiff: What did get is pretty interesting though!

More Haulers! (you can see the price tags on them)

Saw a plenty of these haulers there along with MANY Hot Wheels Nascars, more than I've ever seen in my entire life! I'm still in agony over the fact I didn't have much money because I would've had a shopping spree. Fortunately, my dad has expressed interest in wanting to go back and I am hoping I will soon since they had a lot to offer.

Received this in the mail 10 days ago, but I pondered about whether I should post this immediately or reserve it for later, which is why I’m only posting this now:

TLV Testarossa. It’s a pity they only make it in black or red but not in white though, I would’ve gotten a white instead if they made one.
