Got this Hot Wheels Team Knight Rider Action Pack a few weeks ago, but haven't bothered to post it until now for some reason. I love the Hot Wheels Action Packs so much, they're some of my most favorite things in the entire hobby and this has been one I have wanted for years now. So I finally stopped putting off on buying it and decided to get it.

Comes with this truck called Dante along with a figure and 3 different attachments.

Here is the Dante with no attachments installed.

Here it is with the floats installed. They clip into the bumpers and stay on there really well and come off with little issue. Speaking the obvious though, it doesn't actually float on water. :P

And here is the Dante with the turret attachment. It clips into the sides of the bed and the rear window and stays in there VERY firmly. It can be detached of course, but requires a bit more effort, but it's not hard once you figure it out.

And of course if you slide the door on the top, the gun I think is spring loaded and will pop out upon opening the door. It's barrel can be extended or retracted and the gun can rotate in any direction. It's really well designed! 👍

And here is the saw blade attachment. It attaches and detaches the same as the other one.

Opening the doors reveals the saw blade and it can be pulled out and moved in various directions with ease.

And here is the Dante disassembled. Like several other Action Pack only castings, this one has a screw instead of rivets for some reason, so disassembly is easy. This one has one screw on the front and a clip in the back of the body that clips into the base and the interior has a clip that goes there as well. I should note you have to unscrew the screw first and then use a small flat head to push the tab on the interior piece out some, then you can lift off the body. The windshield is riveted to the body for some reason, hence why it's not detached in the photo.

The body is plastic and the base is metal and interior is just what you'd expect. Don't know what you'd want to do with this in terms of customizing this thing due to it's plastic body, but I am sure someone will find something. (besides wheel swaps)

Overall, I love it! :dopey: It's just as good as I thought it would be, if not better! 👍 It's always a pleasure to get these Action Packs and I looked forward to getting more in the future!

Coming from Auto World or Johnny Lightning this year. (hopefully Auto World)

Have a feeling it's Johnny Lightning. But I'm happy to be proven wrong about this.

Also, I know I'm doing these black market dealers a favour but I can't help myself to get this one.

Got the unriveted one and chose these wheels. I think it looks amazing.

Finally found the Autoworld Challenger Redeye as well! When was this set supposed to be released? I've been looking for what feels like ages and only now just found it. Worried how bad it'd be to find the Autoworld Dodge Stealth and Supra... Want those really badly but don't want to pay eBay prices. Stopped by the one closest Hobby Lobby to me (almost an hour north) to see if they had AW or GL of interest. Ended up just going for the Majorette Porsche instead, thankfully using a 40% off coupon they had online. Also finally found the new MB stuff and HW Lancia Delta (not pictured)

I also am worried about how hard it might be to find the AW Stealth. I had to put a ban on myself when it comes to shopping at Hobby Lobby (GF goes there). Every time I walk in, I go to the toy area & end up with something. Those cars aren't cheap $1 models. :boggled:

I kind of wish there was a Hobby Lobby that's closer to me as my work schedule conflicts with their "worship" on Sunday as that's my only day I have a lot of time off to do other things. But yeah, their pricing is rather high for some of us. Helps that you can get a coupon to help (though only for one item as I've found)

Curious as to how far behind our stores are to getting Autoworld models. I feel like the Challenger was supposed to be out sometime middle of last year.

I haven’t seen any of the new Autoworld cars yet. I’ll probably go shopping tomorrow to see if I can get some of the new Matchbox. My autoworld section is usually empty or has old cars on the pegs.

So much nostalgia here, when I was a little kid I loved Knight Rider and it has been a quite while since I thought about Team Knight Rider. At first I watched kinda reluctantly (not being a Ford fan and all) but it grew on me. Maybe rose tinted glasses, but I remember it being kinda cheesy fun, and as a kid being amused by some of the banter from the "Beast" truck and the male-voiced motorcycle.
