I went to a model expo yesterday and picked up these:

I was spoilt rotten for choice by the seller, who had pretty much everything I wanted at his stand. Heaps of Tarmac, Inno, Tomica and Para 64 offerings like I'd never seen before. I had to exercise some degree of restraint or I would've bought 10:lol:

It's been a fairly slow drip feed of restocking at the local stores. Went on a maybe...5 hour round trip drive around the state to find these. Finally found my first HW premium chase! Found part of the release with the Autoworld 3000GT and Supra, but no sign of the Caravan...

That Pajero is very nice. I picked up up that one last week. Best of the year amongst basics for me.

These 2 finally arrived today. I absolutely love them. They were worth the wait.

This also arrived a few days ago:

I asked my brother to open the box because I was playing GT7, but mum did it instead and broke the left mirror. Never again.

I know that feeling. Me 10 years ago would have went all in

I have vague memory of something in the 89-91 period that were smaller than micro machines. I'm pretty sure they were ONLY available at KB toys in the US, and feel like they were Hasbro or Maitsio.
also there were a limited edition hotwheels in 96-97? as the sweet 16 replicas that came in a hard plastic 60's era card with an openable back, they were smaller than micro machines.
Racing chamipions also had some micromachine sized cars.

related:
I had Thunder Road, and Daytona 500, and some other one I don't remember much about, but all 3 of them were dead on micromachine sized... I used my micromachines on the Daytona 500 99% of the time

Thanks for sharing. I'll look into Hasbro and Maisto.

I have a problem

I found it on eBay from a guy in Hong Kong who specialises in older Kyosho models.
Here

Wow those prices are nuts. I should sell my cars!
Partly serious though, I do have models you may be interested in, because I see you found yourself a CM's model.

Yes you should sell your cars. Resale market is crazy right now and it'd be wrong not to cash in. Also I do like CM's models and when I saw the 206 WRC I jumped on it immediately. French cars are very few and far between in the 1:64 segment, although Tarmac will partly alleviate this when they release the Renault 5 Turbo.

Now for yesterday's delivery:

Quite a few Matchbox Gathering announcements yesterday. Here's a few photos of the prototypes that Lamley had posted.

Rather excited to see Morgan return to Matchbox after I had missed out on the Aeromax, I have a rather odd obsession with Morgans. Loving the "normal" cars on the list and glad that Matchbox is making a stock A90 Supra.

On a more personal note, found the 2023 mainline K case cars and ordered the Autoworld Caravan/Voyager and Mini GT Rufs online. Never thought it'd be so frustratingly hard to find the Autoworld minivans...

Finally, a Dodge Viper in my collection. It's also good to have some mini F1 cars because it means that I no longer need to spend stupid amounts of money on 1:43's or 1:18's. Moreover, they won't take up as much space. I will get the rest of the '22 Sparky F1 set eventually as it also includes the Alpines, Alpha Tauris and Alfa Romeos.

From the same seller I found at the model expo 2 months ago. He was doing a roaring trade as people were clamoring to get their hands on little versions of the cars at the show. Love the red GT-R.
