Stopped by my local Wal-Mart tonight. The pegs were a mess, the dump bin was still half full with old stuff, but for some reason I found a handful of N-case cars mixed in. :odd:

So, I bought a couple openers:

I'd have to pick up one of those red Subies!

Never hurts to go to Walmart and look for some cars. :P It is a lot more fun going out to stores and hunting than looking online sometimes, especially when you have two flea markets in your area. :D Also speaking of that Mazda2, I'd love to find one myself.

Speaking of diecast cars based off of real ones that we own, I'm sure there is none of the US-spec 2003 Toyota Camry... But I would like to look at some diecast Toyota Crowns. :D
God, I did buy a Mazda 2 Matchbox, but for my nephew. It was before I started collecting, so I didn't even think about buying one for myself.

You have nice taste on those Crowns. 👍 Those earlier one's are really sexy. Crowns are so cool. 👍

Awww poo i passed up pn the 914 the other day :(
:odd:

@a6

Tell me about it. It was an awesome looking casting and i felt like i needed to have it, but i had to buy groceries for the misses so i felt like that had priority... She insisted i take it but i left it at the store when she wasnt looking

Also going a tad crazy over the Mazda2, my brother found a SuperFast one at his Toys R Us in NY, but it's not worth the extra price.

Well, after all, I may just be buying a Crown myself. :sly:

Now that R1600's confirmed that the N-case stuff is out, should mean they'll be hitting stores else where too. MUST FIND!

A bunch of Wal-Marts are getting new dump bins with N-case stuff, so keep an eye out. They should also be getting the exclusive Redline cars too.

Our dump bins were recently removed, but I'm guessing they'll return? :odd:

Here's the redlines: Oh and a Super T-hunt that looks cool. Especially to a wagon fan. :D But I'll never find it...

Is it just me, or almost all cars from this either have something funky about them, or the car just isn't that great. I was hoping for some really cool Redline cars, but I may get one, maybe two out of that line up.

I had to google that one. If I see it on clearance for couple of dollars or less, yeah, but I don't see myself paying the full tilt either.

Can you buy the rest of the cars I need from now on? Only recently did we finally get the 458 Spyder.

I also by luck got a 2012 350Z. Am I the first here?

Man I want the SRT and the STi NAO!!!!!!

@Medigo and A6: Count me in also. I'm digging those Crowns myself. I gotta get one oneday. And by the way, nice choice with the classic Toyota for the project car Medigo.

Well, since you did talk about getting a project car... You should come up to Maine, my friend has connections (he owns a forum) and there's a AE86 Trueno hatch for sale here for $1.5k. Completely worked, but has no engine... Ok...I'll shut up and have someone get back on topic.

Sounds like a good idea, but I can't get out there since I don't have a car or any funds for the trip. So I can't do it :(, but thanks for the heads up :).

And yeah, bring on some HW AE86's and more.

Lol trust me, when my paychecks gone and i have to decide on my happiness that day, or her yelling at me months from now, i know my answer :sly:

I wish hot wheels would do an initial d 5 pack. I dont even care if the cars are kinda not what they look like;

Panda AE 86 ,
Yellow 24/7 w/ head/taillight tampos
Grey R32 also with light tampos,
Blue MR2 rally
Green R34 w/ team hotwheels three spokers painted silver

Lol thats what i would want

Cano - that is a strange case of plagiarism - that guy using your photo. I recognised it as yours before I even read your post. This guy has pretty high positive FB. Why would he risk his rep?

D'Wyvern - I read your story of serendipity - that is exactly the kind of experience I keep my instincts honed for. Scoring stuff off other collectors, sellers, and scalpers is okay - but thats more procuring than finding. It's when you just decide to take a left instead of a right and end up going exactly where your subconscious tells you to go - and it knows; if you've been wishing for something enough.
I got many a great find that way - at a quiet convenience store, or a suddenly spied back-yard sale, or a flea-market of four tables in a rural town.

If there's one more Tomica posted in here . . .
*checking jelly stocks.

Great picks, guys - esp a6m5 who has stopped collecting.
Cano - we have to put more pressure on Ben about diorama - looks like he's running out of room and will move again. BTW - did you get Megane yet? So many around here.

^ I was about to get him one the other day but Toys R Us figured it would be a smart idea to raise the prices up 60 cents even though the cars aren't even selling that well.

I think I should do something on here where I,
present two cars.
People vote on which one would win in a downhill competition.
I race them downhill on course(a vs track). I show pic of aftermath and who won.
Then I do it again with different cars.

Good idea? I've got two cars that would be good head to head

Like Harry said, I stopped collecting, but these fell into my shopping basket today.

'62 Chevy Customs was the only 4th of July series I wanted(and always gone!), and I've been looking for the Evo cop car in black. Better late than never!

P.S. Props to you for being responsible, Otaku-san. 👍

"Oh no it's not like I wanted to buy it. I was looking at some cars and it just so happened to fall in my basket."

"I didn't realize that they were in there until the cashier ringed it in. She already put it in the bag and I was like "Oh well. Can't be helped.""

Good job Jason. 👍

I forgot to mention that 4th of July truck, I only caught it after I checked out, was on the way out of the store.
