Stopped by Walmart on my way back from my friend's place to have a look. And...pegs were restocked with old stuff... :( However, I came across another collector and tried to start some kind of conversation with "collecting too?" -smiley face- And the guy blatantly looked at me and just said "Yeah..." Then went off into his own little world on the pegs and didn't bother to talk... Such unsociable animals. Only decent collector I've met was in Target. He took the first ever K.I.T.T. I've seen in my own store. :grumpy:

He only picked up K.I.T.T. and a couple of M2 Machines. Possibly?

Also, I really regret not going to yard sales, summer's coming to an end and yard sales are probably ending soon... Wish I had the time to take a look. :(

Welp, I've been looking at the my car collector thing on the hot wheels website and found some box art models that caught my eye

First off, the new cloak and dagger
V5518_Cloak_and_Dagger.png

I got the original a while ago and loved it. A new blue tint and sponsoring will be soon on my wall(unless it sucks).

The new Ford Ranchero

Ok you can see this one. It's a Ford Ranchero. It is Lime green. Must buy for me :D

and lastly a 40's Woodie from the 1983 Real Riders series.

Just remembered to check my mail as I was waiting on a trade from a guy on HWC.com for a couple cars. Will post pics tomorrow when I have the necessary lighting to do so.

- Ferrari 458 Italia Spider (wrong interior)
- BMW 2002 Orange (reversed windows)

Here's one found on HWC. It has the standard 458 Coupe interior.

On the BMW 2002, I now have a reverse window of each color, and a wheel error on a white one. So 5 versions total.

That's pretty cool with the amount of errors you've got for the 2002. 👍 Ferrari's error is a bit meh to me, but that's from the pictures. Would have to see one in person to see how interesting it really is.

I actually traded for the BMW, the guy threw in the Ferrari for nothing. I had been looking for the Ferrari but didn't think to trade for it. Now I'm looking at getting the Ford Falcon Race Car with the lace wheels, or the Ferrari 599XX with the OH5SP wheels. (thin, open spokes)

I think it might actually be a Challenger (rodger dodger maybe?), i really like the 944 (had that same 1), and also the Majorette Excaliber.. had 1 of those in white too. 👍

Nice stuff, $mig's. And to answer your question, the white car is a Sheriff Patrol and the other is a Dixie Challenger. Have them as well. And I don't think that Viper is a T-Hunt. You might be thinking of this one.

Question but i remember Hot Wheels used to have something called the connect cars series and it had cars to represent the 50 states of the USA. Anyone have any clue as to why they stopped making them?:indiff:

Got damn that's hardcore, Ben. Awesome buy 👍 I'm still missing that car, let alone carded.

can some one tell me what are they?? as it only say hot wheels on base

and sorry guys again for not replaying to your's posts, been very busy, but I wish i could :)

The cop car is the classic Highway Patrol, based off a Dodge Granada or somethijg like that. The version you landed is one of the first editions from 1978. The Orange thing is a 1981-82 Dixie Challenger, based off a 1971 Dodge Charger.

Finally got the 911 with orange wheels, and the Mystery Models(been calling them Mystery Cars!) '73 Falcon. Been looking awhile for the Falcon. 👍

It looks nice in $miglo's pic, but even better mint!

Welcome! :) Feel free to share pics of the notable cars, if you feel like it. 👍

Forgot to tell you guys I also bought the pair of 1/87 scale? Batman Tumblers from a local grocery store. One is black and the other is camo colors. Black one looks like this:

Indeed, looks real good mint, wish i still had mine, though i remember removing and losing the roof.

Sweet GT3 BTW 👍, may have to pick 1 of those up at some point.

That looks awesome R1600, and 1/87 too! 👍

If i remember correctly i think years back they used to sell little batman t shirts that came with that batmobile.

Yeah, the roof's nice.

Jason: I thought those are larger. They are bigger than the standard hot wheels, right? I bought couple of those on sale awhile back, and I thought they were around 1/50 scale.

IMG_0738.jpg

Edit: Yeah, quick google says 50th scale.

Maybe, I dunno. They didn't put the scale on the package so I guessed.

Edit: Sold at some Targets and I have seen them at Fry's. (local grocery store - Kroger brand)

Where do they sell all these batmobiles ya'll got?
I've only seen them at Fred Meyers, who I believe are part of the Kroger chain.

Edit: I'm still soooooo 🤬 that they've omitted the 1989 Batmobile. As far as I'm concerned, only one relevant. Sorry for the language, but I'm so 🤬
