Duuuuude such a score! Where did you get all that stuff? Was it all together? How much? There are a lot of cars that are pretty damn rare and hard to find there, some rare brands! The big Matchboxes andd Corgis are specially sweet.

So the story behind them is quite simply

Friend of my friend is about to sell a house, and to do that hi was cleaning up his garage, and since all my friends know that I collecting "small toys cars" when she saw a box with all that cars simply bought them for me :)
owner of that cars did not want any money for them, hi was just about to put them in a bin :scared:, so my friend offer him a 10£

I'm aware of some of them are rare (like vw golf) but i'll take good care of all of them, just in case

do you want to see any of that car with more details

ME WANT C6 Z06 Vette 2012 NAO!!!!!!

But that's one rare error right there, pretty unique I have to say. Nice finds though. 👍

Thanks and very few have been found, you're correct. Mine makes three in total that I've heard about. R1600Turbo found one too.

2x 1967 Candy Apple Red Chevelle SS.
2x 1971 Red Pontaic Roadrunner
1x 1968 Purple El Camino

Nice ones where'd you get them at?
Also I would like to point out that I don't look for errors so later today could you guys tell me if my hw's are errored? Ill post pics.

An Error is essentially something that hasn't been made correctly.... it can be as easy to spot as the are being positioned in a different way in the blister or incorrect wheels.

How many R34 GTRs do the stores have? If you can find four, two in Bayside Blue and Active Silver, please let me know. I gotta find mah BNRs!

Thanks Jason.

The one store I looked at had a bunch of silver ones. I only found 1 blue one. Was going to buy it but put it back.

Not fair, I'd be willing to trade of them. Want any more variants on the GT3 w/ Chrome wheels? :P But yeah, I'd like some. Maybe even a BTTF Delorean.

Nah, don't need any more GT3's. Still looking for the OH5 Ferrari though...

I've got a '12 Z06 with the Grand Sport base too. ;) So I have 3 total errors for that car.

Edit: Check out these crazy bidders with "gotta have it now" syndrome.

Very nice, Harry! 👍

I've never heard of the Tracksters, but they look interesting.

Thanks, a6m5, I love that collection. I did post many of the loose ones I had - probably about a year ago - in this thread. I'll see if I can find some close-ups in my library later.
Story about it: I happened to drop into a liquidation center for some cheapo painting supplies (donkey brushes and such) and noticed a huge bin at the back loaded with them at 0.99 cents apiece. I grabbed doubles of everything and triples of some (Trans Am, GT-R, etc). Later, much later, I was at a local Swap Shop and saw some of them in a glass showcase for $7.99 each. I quickly booted up eBay and found that sellers had them at $9.99 upwards!
So now I am in a quandary - should I open them up or drool over them like Scrooge. I mean . . . they did cost me only 0.99 each . . . but that's money on the wall now.
I don't have to open all - I've already opened the doubles, but . . . those singles.. . .
That little display of course is just the ones at the corner of the wall (over the TV); I have more stored away in a drawer.

Having fun with the Stratos, as you spotted; my youngest wanted me to build him a short drag-strip to 'test out' some of my cars; here's a pic of it, works beautifully, and we're having fun racing each other occasionally. When I have the time I'm going to make it more realistic (scenary on either side, etc.), maybe even a bit like the end of the starting straight at Watkins Glen.

So far so good! I hope you get to complete it, and if you do, we want to see the finished product! 👍

Awesome, that's why everyone around you should know you collect cars. I ended up with these for free:

In much the same way.

As for watching some of them closer, I'd like to see the rarest brands, Guisval, Norev and stuff, closer indeed. Thanks (:

Cano's Beetle is just awesome.👍

P.S. There is a error in there, that Chevy van. Error in judgement to buy one with those tampos(I have one too :P).

I second that. With some scenary and a few other details, it's really going to look great. Looking forward to seeing it, when it's finished. 👍

Everyone at work knows I collect coins and keep an eye out for special ones. One of my older colleagues gave me her old collection for nothing at all. In it contained a lot of coins I would never find anymore; half dollars, Centennial coins, and even a 1916 penny!

Found my OH5 wheel Ferrari 599xx!!!!! :D

Edit: Stopped at 1 Fry's (Kroger) grocery store tonight after work and found the following:

- Camaro Convertible Concept w/wide & skinny rear tires.

- Ferrari 599XX w/OH5 wheels. (store had 6 or 7 total of these, this was the only one with these wheels)
- Porsche Boxster Spyder w/missing windshield and major tampo slide.

Thanks, can you pick up at least 3-5 silver R34s and, if you can 3 blue ones as well? :)

Wow, over a hundred bucks for the Mars Curiousity Buggy?!?:rolleyes:

I can't wait myself to find this and the other cars (including my R34s), but I'll never pay a outrageous price for a HW car, espically a new model.

I can't wait to see the moron's face when he finds it in the store at $1 and realizes he was ripped off. Just wait and you'll find your prized beauty. That's the thrill of the hunting HW cars, model cars and the real cars also.
