So a large eBay lot arrived awhile ago and I've just gotten around to going through it. The listing was not that great and it was hard to tell the quality of the cars, but I gambled a bit and won for just 50 cents above opening bid.

The seller shipped them all individually wrapped and when I saw that....well I knew I had done well. I bought the lot just to get 5-6 out of the top box that I didn't have loose mint, but will end up keeping a lot more as they are all MINT-NM.

Anyway, I went ahead and split the cars into two groups. The first picture shows the cars I'm keeping from the lot while the other two are going into my ever growing pile of extras to purge. I actually tossed 5 cars into the trash that were newer and complete garbage.

The keepers are solid, dude. That purple 930 keeps evading me, and both yellow and pink 80s Firebirds are hard to come by, very good stuff. I'm also missing the black Fiero.

I have the Toys R Us gift set that included the 930, but have been reluctant to open it.
Now, I don't have to.

I still need to post up my other purchases from the Toy show nearly two weeks ago now. I had shown a lot of cars I nabbed for a dime/piece and intend to show in the next batch that cars that were $1 and up, but one of them I just couldn't wait to show because as of last week, I am now a Siku owner!! I know zilch about Siku, but I was willing to pick this up for a meager $3 because of the detail. I had to have it.

I hate to break the conversation, but here are a few miscellaneous pictures from this evening.

Mix between today's and last weekend's purchases.

Couple o' Porsches.

A quick edit of my two Bulls.

And I noticed a slight error on my Way 2 Fast; the body wasn't properly placed on the base.
Probably not worth any more than a regular one, I don't know.

Check the Customizing thread shortly for some wheel swaps.

AOS-
Boulevard F40?! edit:  I need those wheels!!!!! Does anyone have extras or seen a few from their local stores?

edit edit: Lamley Group posted this on facebook:

Says Walmarts there are pushing out old Decades... I'm going to need this Murc, because we sure as hell don't get any here. Can someone grab me some if they see any?

Is that a Muricelago LP-670-4 SV?!?!

I need one, no THREE of those!👍

The Keepers and the reason I bought this 80+ car lot
Toys R Us purple 930, the yellow Firebird, black Fiero w/UHs and the
Steel Stamp series Zender variation w/ clear windows.

Extras Box 1

Extras Box 2

PS: 16 cars with HW livery... :yuck:

That Mk4 Supra, Gold Firebird, Purple 930, Lambo Countashes and Diablos, Miatas and dem' XJ220s!!

Time to give a donation eh? :sly:

I haven't seen the Boulevard F40, but I still despise that two-tone. :yuck: I finally gave in and ordered the Hot Wheels Milestone F40 though.

I like the JL Scout & Tomica Juke, I have those, rest are nice, too. 👍 What's the black car on the top-right?

It's some horrible "Zingers" Malibu from the Johnny Lightning four-pack.
It's a great cast and I love those years of the Malibus, but unfortunately the base doesn't have slots for the axles. But that's not to say a Dremel won't solve that problem.

Here's a better picture I just took.

That thing..... Rocks! Especially the rear wheels!👍

And I thought Hot Wheels were the masters of over-sized rear wheels.

Thanks for taking the time to take a nice picture of it, McZachen. 👍

It's a bit much for me. I'm planning a nice pro-street setup for it.
I see the four pack on eBay, but can I still find those in stores? I'm pretty sure I've never seen them in person.

The car is over the top, but it's fun to mix it up a little. :dopey:

Indeed. Thanks, that was a great pic. 👍

P.S. Jason1600Turbo! 1~100! Come on! :P

Oh it's no problem. It takes literally less than 10 seconds to "Quick Upload" it to Flickr from my phone. 👍

I got it at Toys R Us right beside the three 2011 or 2010 JL Christmas gold chrome Ford Torinos.
It's Playing Mantis, so it certainly isn't new.

My Toys R Us won't have it then. They suck. eBay has set for $11, and it's certainly not a bad deal. I might have to get it. Thanks for the tip. 👍

I got it for $7 or $8 I think. Which I thought was pretty steep, until I remembered they were Johnny Lightnings. Still too much for one car I wanted; the Scout.
I may use the wheels off the Pinto and I hopefully will get around to work on the Malibu, but that 'Vette is junk. I want nothing to do with it.

Considering JLs go for $3.47 or something at Walmart, $8 for the whole set is a gooood deal. 👍

If you aren't looking to keep the car, I'd love to trade for it. Can I PM you a list of what I have available, maybe tomorrow?

Yeah sure, by all means. I'll get some better pictures of it to you tomorrow hopefully. 👍

If it's in OK shape, I don't need anymore pics, I'm not picky. 👍 If you have any other cars for trade, PM me. Since we have to pay for shipping anyway, I think more's merrier? I'll PM what I have to you tomorrow. Thanks! :)

Oh yeah, it's perfect. I opened it today, said "Ew!" and set it aside.
I'm working on photographing all of what I want to trade/sell and right now, Andy is first to see what I have as I'm working out a deal with him too. It may be into next week before I'm done. There's probably over 100 cars. :scared:

Sounds good to me, broseph. Just don't let that Canuck get my Malibu. :D

Oh yeah, very cool car, dude. Way to enter Siku ownership, I had never seen it. a steal for the price.
