3 boxes arrived.... got a lot more cars to add to the White Series.

Matte Black.... black primer... can't tell the difference. It's not shiny that's for sure. It's a JL, as is the Mach 1 beside it. First JLs in my collection. :D

*JL cars*

Love them, man do I wish they sold them at our Wal-Mart still. :grumpy:

So I had a PM waiting for me at HWC. Someone saw my '70 Camaro custom and also saw a post that I'm waiting for the 2010 Camaro with a similar paint scheme to come out so I could customize it to match. He's like "check out my eBay auction if you want one".

Clicked the link: $6.99 + 2.99 shipping.

Yeah thanks, but I'm not in that big of a hurry to get one for 10x retail price. :odd:

What?? I found what?? Let's see...

The 2005 SEMA Show exclusive Civic Si

That was last weekend. Then, just when I thought the store couldn't provide anymore gems, I came across the following this past Friday!! Obviously the folks bringing the items in do ZERO research.

FIVE minutes on SouthTexas and this lot would have cost me $40 and not $4.

Oh. Good news for Cano, I got 2 Hot Ones Torinos... and the bad news for you and Jason: there was only one Toyota Truck left. Fight for it.

Nah, I don't want you guys to fight over it. I'm giving this one to Jason, just because there's less in his parcel than Cano's already. Sorry, Cano. And Jason, I got you a boulevard '41 Willys.

Next order of business, do you want them carded, uncarded or the top half cut off (like the way I ask for)?

Question: How hard would it be to get another PR5 Impreza?

Good call on the Willys, I just sacrificed mine.

How hard? No. It's whether or not the store will even have I once I step in. I can look for another one, but this is up to luck and not me. So don't blame me for anything, 'kay? ;)

Also, I know you wanted the Willys since you were looking for one. See this is why you guys should post about cars you're looking for in this thread.

Just wondering on the Impreza as I'll be opening one for my display and wanted another to keep in the package. The other two you can open.

I'm trying to make packages I get small enough for my mailbox so I don't have to go to the apartment office to get them, but even the last box I got was small enough and they still gave it to the office. Trying to figure out another method of getting packages as I don't have a real post office near me I can't get a PO Box.

Padded Envelope. Might warp the card though. Letter-sized Padded envelopes will work, but they won't fit in a mailbox. I have smaller ones, a good size for one card, and 2 or 3 loose cars. Want to try that?

USPS takes better care of parcels than Canada Post, I take it? Unless it needs a signature, the mailmen just dump my parcels by the door after they ring the doorbell.

Sometimes yes, mostly no. And with an apartment complex USPS won't go door to door. If it won't fit in the box, it goes to the office. Unfortunately the office hours are the exact same hours that I work, so I either have to leave work early to pick it up or wait until Saturday to get it. I'm thinking about putting a note in my box that says if the package fits, put it in there...

Just give him another Imprezzzzzza (:

That's what she said.

haha, good one 👍

*slap* *slap* At least you picked up a real nice one(the Chevy). Better late than never, I suppose. :D

Oh! Lookee . . .
Nice. Niiice. 👍

I haven't had any luck at Walmart for those lately. I might have to look in Target.

P.S. Anybody knows if the Rabbit & I think the Vanagon's already out in the Hot Ones series?

Newer? Yes, the Civic is from 2005, but the other three are from 1995, 1996 and 1997, so hardly new. :yuck: I suppose that because I stopped playing with and starting collecting hot wheels in 1995, I more familiar that most with this particular era. Still a few variations I'm after though...just have to wait till I find one in which the seller doesn't know what they have. :sly:

I am so far behind in this thread... :boggled: Some great grabs I see though. 👍

Loving the new Porsche 918, although something makes me feel unsure about the wheel choice of 10SPs... Not sure why.

Planning on stopping by Tuesday Morning after seeing R1600's notification of them being clearanced. Might also look around to hopefully find the B Mix with the new AE86.

Well they are new compared to most of the variations you have showed in other posts, or many of the 80s cars that I am more familiar with.

Heres a pic of the 1:64 version of the Bloodhound that I got off google. It is very expensive for a single 1:64 but its limited to 2000 pieces and the history of a car going 1000mph I just had to have it. I have been looking at some other land speed cars on ebay but there arent allot of them. Do any of you know who makes scale land speed cars?

72 pounds plus 15 for international postage which makes this the most expensive 1:64 I have ever purchased but its still short of my most expensive diecast.
