If you get Boulevard K cases for the Civics, I will buy both F40s off you, a Phantastique, and a Ford Falcon Sprint. :D

I got it either really cheap or in a trade too. Just looked them up on eBay, $15+ with shipping.

I'll probably end up buying a large lot with it included and just trade off/sell the rest to recoup the cost. When I do find it, I don't want to be more than $5 into it.

Nice lot here -- I only want the Thunder roller and the Alien though.

^Wow, I'll say. Great price!

Also, my girlfriend just got that Sweet 16 like an hour ago!
There's no chance she'll give it up though.

Come on, you know it is. The car looks like this:

Bah, that was going to be my third guess......honestly. But after I made my previous post, I had dinner, played some PS3 and went to bed. I forgot all about it.

Ok, wasn't going to share this until it was finished but I figure it's best to get opinions first before I finish it, so if changes need to be made it's easier. Don't look into this too much as it's probably not going to start any time soon as I just don't have the cash to start a business. But I may start with cars I have already and try to work up to buying a case at a time and see where it goes.

Anyway, I need opinions on the layout, colors, etc. Is it easy to navigate?

It looks like navigation's simple & easy. I also think the design could use little more color, but for me personally, navigation & selection is what hooks me in. And price. :D

Loose Matchbox

@Cano-- Here are my Pre-2000 loose mint matchbox. I'm not sure how many of the are Macau, but it should be quite a few. While I sort them out, here's my carded Macau to browse over. They've all been posted individually here sometime in the last year plus.

In case anyone was interested

From Wikipedia: Made in Macau Matchbox
Although no longer British-owned, limited production continued in England until the mid-1980s, re-using many of the old Lesney castings. Most production and tooling was moved to Macau...Because of high labour costs and the lack of enough skilled workers in Hong Kong and Macau, (Matchbox/Universal) decided to outsource its die casting in mainland China. April 1984, the first Hong Kong-Shanghai joint venture toys company was established in Minhang, Shanghai. Dies were imported from Macau to Shanghai till early '90s when Macau finally ceased producing Matchbox toys.

The last picture I have posted above contains a 1990 New Model Mercedes Benz 500SL...one of the last, if not the last, New casting Made in Macau.

Any chance I can buy a few cars off you? I'm looking for cars to customize into rally cars. And a lot of the older matchbox cars got a lot of cars suitable for it.

I'm looking for a couple cars.

Thought I'd ask here. Obviously I have much to trade, though not much new, or I'm able to pay reasonable prices.

The Fairly common
Sweet 16

That color specifically?

Oh go to hell. Yes there are quite a few Macau-era cars. Are those available or are you just showing off? :dopey:

Also, another nice lot.

EDIT:

I have a second one that's disassembled as well. It's ready to be customized now that you're getting back into it.

I want it.

Everything is available...for a price. (except the Datsun 260Z 2 + 2, Volvo 760, Ruff Trek and Dairy Lane Peterbilt.)

Ok, we'll work something out later. I know they won't be going anywhere, lol.

No. Pay me already for what you already have.

You can have it next time when I cut open more cars.

Weren't you gonna throw more donnor bodies on my box or something like that? Throw that one innnnnnnnnnn

Oh dear god amazing. I never thought I'd presence the sale of a rear loading Beach Bomb!!!! Incredible story too. I shall watch this, it's still cheap.

I had it opened for a project... I was willing to offer it up as trading material, but we're not trading-I'm selling.

Send money please. I've told you last month I'm going to start asking for payment around this time.

..? If you're just looking for an Sweet 16, I have this one if you want:

Hah, I've got that one too. Much more worn though, no sign of the chrome on the wheels.
