Given the antecedent of the pink one having sold for 75k+, I'd say 20k at least, as it is absolutely spotless but in a more common color.
*picks jaw back up*

I know it's been mentioned in here before, but what was the highest sell price ever for hot wheel cars? Was it the $75k?

:P

Thanks for the link, Cano. How much are the production version Beach Bombs worth? I'd imagine they are still worth over a grand?

Nah, they've never been quite that expensive. Maybe a pink mint one could fetch a thousand bucks but I highly doubt it. 400-500 bucks should buy you a mint example in a rare color, common colors sometimes don't even make 200. I'm talking mint stuff, used up Bombs hardly ever make 100 bucks. Do a quick search on the Bay and see.

EDIT: Heck.

Not at all, it is in fact a very ugly casting, I've never liked it. Of course if one came my way I'd indeed keep it because rare, but it's not one of my fave Hot Wheels at all.

That GT1 is SWEET. 👍 Nice haul there Jason, and Andy, did you set that cake picture up yourself? It is awesome.

Edit: If there's no takers, I'd take the whole lot for $45 + shipping.

You're first up: You have a shipping address in the lower 48?

The gt1 is frighten sexy!

Ok so update on shipping, it's about 6 domestically and to Canada/Mexico, but it jumps to 20 dollars to Australia :(

Someone fill me in on this. There are phony Redlines out there and this is one of them, isn't it?

I have these available. I'm not sure if any are sought after though. I've been debating opening them for quite some time, but haven't as of yet. I did pop open a Corvette though.

Man that 911 GT1 ! Me WANT NAO!

Aww 🤬 everyone else beat me.:crazy::grumpy::irked:

Back to hunting....

R1600Turbo
Just got an EPIC box of goodies in the mail.

Pictures after I eat. :P

Edit: Booya!

OMG, dem old school Nissans! And I'm jelly with the black 350Z Z33. Now I see why Zach wants it, I want that one too.

Oh yeah Jason, Friday is here (though it's 12:00AM) is there any HW meets later in the evening? Just wondering.

For 11k?! This hobby is serious business. I can't even imagine a person would buy this . Must be a wealthy collector or a crazy person would sell everything they own just to obtain this! :boggled:

At 1ness
I seriously can't comprehend how someone would pay 75k for a HW... Some collectors are .

*HW, the new Faberge*

You and me both doctor Nessy. What do they call this, Hot Wheel OCD or HWOCD?:odd:

Okay, so there are 2 types of racing-spec Ferrari F40s that were created, the LM/Competizione (the company renamed the LM as Competizione as they feel that the "LM" is too restrictive), and the GTE.

Here are their differences:

The GTE's spoiler is bigger. The Competizione retains the basic spoiler of the normal F40, but it has a different top. (which I don't know the name of...)

At the sides, the GTE has more NACA ducts.

Then at the front, has air intakes at the sides which the Competizione doesn't have. Though both have removed their pop-up headlights and small NACA ducts are present.

The GTE's side mirrors have moved up as well.

Other differences:

The GTE's fuel fillers are present at both sides of the car, while the Competizione also has 2 of them, but on the right side only.

(both are Kyosho 1:64 scale models)

Hey Kash. Do you have the CLK-GTR Roadsters and Impreza by Kyosho? I was looking at a few last night and want to confirm if there were a loss of sharp detailing where the headlamps meet the body.

I have the CLK GTR roadster. The headlights are fine...
