I like the 240Z!
Damn you.
I share same sentiment.
Where and how much? Willing to drop money on this...
I don't think it's out yet. I think there was a talk of someone distributing Kyosho cars to the U.S., but currently, it's pretty much online from Asia. Most Kyosho packages I've seen carry a MSRP of $5~$7, but after the premium markup & shipping, they will at the minimum double that. For popular models, some of the cars I've wanted in the past were in around $20~$30 range.

Speaking of McLarens.... I paid nothing for these because I filed a complaint to the seller and he refunded me everything. I feel kind of bad but at the same time I didn't demand a refund. What should I do with my $25? Buy more Kyoshos? :D

Oooooh, I have that one too!

For $25, I suggest you grab more Kyoshos. Seriously, that brand can make a collector addicted to those. :sly:

Well after 1 Walmart, 1 Target, 1 Dollar Tree, 2 Walgreens and 2 Fry's grocery stores.....nothing. :grumpy:

Just picked up a silver S2k for a project idea and another R32 GT-R for it's intercooler.

Laaaame.

Imagine the $$ you'd save spreading these trips out. If I bought new, I'd be broke. Not from car purchases, but from the cost of gasoline.

To give you a better understanding, I did something that I thought would be fun, but turned out shocking.
If you locate my exact address on the following sites, here are the number of stores and distance they are from me.

Walmart - 11 stores within 16.66 miles
Target - 5 stores within 12.6 miles
Dollar Tree - 15 stores within 10 miles
Kmart - 8 stores within 16 miles
CVS / Walgreens - Over 30 stores within 15 miles

^^^ Consumerism is very frightening ^^^

Here's my new storage case for oversized Hotwheels.
(One's that wont fit without rub in the standard 48 car Jammer.)

You can buy them HERE

Nah..... Maybe in the future.

:P

I should create another trade/sale list though. It's all over the place right now & outdated.

P.S. That purchase from toy peddler came to 32 cars. He seems to be routinely updating his toy peddler inventory. He said that he'll be posting '57 Chevys tomorrow, if anybody's interested in that. And again, great multiple shipping discount.

What's that black car on the bottom right with a "11" on it? A Mustang? GT500? what year?

I believe that is a GT500 of sorts, I remember finding the same exact one at a flea market. Flat black with gold stripes and it was beautiful! I believe it might be an '07 - '08 sort of model if I remember the packaging correctly. Although I can't find it anywhere in the Hot Wheels wiki, maybe because I'm not looking correctly. I would try and find mine, but it's buried in one of my boxes, so I don't feel like digging it out today... :ouch:

Jelly over those Kyosho McLarens... Trade for a HW Convention Camaro for it or something? :P

Fastback? Nice. One less temptation. Thanks.

Hah. Kyosho > Camaros.

I saw that new red Camaro casting. As tempting as it was to build on my ZL1 collection, I decided not to buy it. I did grab 3 918s and a Camaro SS though.

Oh and that new Matchbox Exotic 5-pack

Great grabs Wyvern, I see at least three K-Mart cars I'd love to sink my theeth into. I didn't even know they existed.

Also, the Happy Meal Highway Hauler. Didn't know it either. Cool 👍

So when I found the '10 Camaro SS. I was hoping that the original set of wheels would be MC5s so I could brag about finding a OH5 variation. Too bad that's not the case. Oh well.

Oh, screw you. I've never seen any XB Falcon's in the wild. :grumpy:

I can get you a handful. Mostly 2011 and 2012 castings. You can customize them all so you won't need to find them in those colours anymore.

Very kind offer, but thanks to e-bay  and Kevin. I've got all the 2012's variations, I wanted.

Edit: That's not a bad idea though.👍

Feel I was a bit lucky yesterday:lol:

There are black Falcons now  If you see another 10 pack with the black Falcon or even a single one can you grab it for me and Ill send you the money for it?

Can do mate, I'll be heading back over later this week to check if they've put more out:tup:

Got this delivered today, picked up for $10.50 on eBay:)

That BRAT Blvd reminds me. The thought of buying cases swung by again. Maybe, just maybe, it might be a better way to save money and guarantee myself access to several castings. The simple-minded plan was to buy a case, get all the cars you need, sell the rest in a lot for the same amount enough to make back that money.

I looked at 1stopdiecast and a case of Boulevards is roughly $63 containing 16 cars.
Shipping aside, that's $3.94 per car... about the same amount I pay for at local stores. While I secure myself cars I want, I also have to put up with cars I don't want, and generally cars I don't want are cars other people don't want. So how would I get rid of the unwanted cars? Even if I sold it in a lot, how can I make it a desirable listing but not lose out too much money?

I'm thinking that selling it for less may be the best route, but I don't want to lose out too much money on the shipping charges. I've sent an email to 1stop for a quote to figure out how much I need to charge to make back my money. Any profit as small as it may be is very much what I'd want, considering my shopping sprees I have a hard time resisting.

Hah. Whomever painted their Road Racer 935 wasted their car now that there's going to be a Flying Customs version eventually. Now we can all customize one for ourselves.

@ AOS - What did you send a quote for?

I emailed them about a wholesale account and they won't release any pricing without a retail sales license. Also took them like 2 weeks to respond.

I asked if they could tell me roughly how much USPS charges to ship a box of 16 cars (like a case of Boulevards) to Canada. I figured they've shipping to a Canadian address before so I ask if they could pull up a past transaction.

Taking 2 weeks to respond sounds like I shouldn't buy from them. Know of any other sites that sell cases?

EDIT: Okay guys. I know you have a list that can be formed. Tell me what are some castings you are hunting down. Share with me what cars you'd pay a premium for and are always in search for one.

Just ordered boxes so I can start listing my loose cars on eBay. Not happy that I had to pay more for the shipping than I did the boxes. :ouch: But $20 for 50 boxes including the shipping isn't bad, and that would add about $45 cents to the shipping price for each car. So I think $4 shipping for a single car should be sufficient. The USPS website says a 5oz package going to New York is $2.41, then add in my material costs, etc.

You could always ask grocery or department stores for their boxes to save on a lot of money.

I grew up with free unlimited access to cardboard and cardboard boxes since my parents worked in a printing factory so there was always an abundance of it and even until today, 4 years after that factory closed down, I still have cardboard in scraps bin.

Oh. Don't forget about Paypal fees as well, Jason.

Also, Aside from the rebranded Maisto CLK GTRs I copped at walmart and a TREASURE HUNT (FINALLY), I also found this which I didn't buy:

Thing wasn't opened. With that said, do you know what I'm pointing out here? :sly:
