You'll probably have to argue with Cano for the A-Team van and KARR. Unless I'm wrong, there might be enough of KARR for both of you. If only I knew what Siku had for diecast cars... Got a list?

Not sure about a list but ill have a look at the shop that sells them tomorrow if I get a chance or on saturday. I think the retro A Team would look good with my 1:18th Hotwheels Elite Van but Cano was first and I do have the 1:18 so that will do for now. Dont give up your Van Medigo.

Edit. A bit off topic but I just found this on ebay. Although its in Australia it should fit in the Crown nicely.

Take your time going to the shop, it's fine with me. As for the A-Team van 1:18 scale, I think it'd look good with it! Are you sure you don't want it?

Once again, a Lambo V10? :P (I remember someone on this forum suggested a Lamborghini engine...)

So far I've gotten $45, definitely not as much as back then, but I'm fine with it. Got some lucky money yourself?

$95 so far, will likely be another $60 when I visit my mom's side of the family.

The very benefit of your parents having a lot of siblings is for this time of the year. Other than that I have no interest in them at all.

It really has been lackluster this year, my mom's side of the family had a get together last weekend in Pennsylvania (where they just about all live). It turned out to be a rather small one. And my father's side of the family that lives here in Maine don't exactly have a lot of money.

I do want it but not if it means that you miss out on it and Cano got in first so he should get it first.

What I can say about SIKU:

They are as good as Jadas, though most of them are comprised of tractors and other heavy equipment.

Detail-wise, it's on par with Jada. And they make mostly German cars like Mercedes, Porsche, Wiesmann, Audi, and VW.

Their wheels are something that SIKU should improve upon.

I will post more of them later.

I had the black one already but white is closer to the reall thing:

Ugly car in real life. But the HW version is spot on:

Nice Pics, 'Gamer!
Thank you photonider!:) Frankly im amazed at how well they turned out. Usually when i take pictures in that location they always show up too bright, but for some reason they didn't. Must have something to do with the light bulbs in the ceiling fan. I took them there because i didn't feel like going all the way down to my basement.

What are the light bulbs? Tunsgten? Halogen? Check your White balance. If its on Auto maybe you want to play around with the Manual settings for different effects. I noticed the pinkish cast on the surface in the center of the pic - right beneath the cars; nice effect that offsets the rest of the background. Why center your models? Is that a style you are developing? Also - work for more detail. Everyone's photography in here (except Cano's - you can't improve on what the maestro does ;) ) has improved a lot - and does so with every new picture that comes in - I'm stunned at how well AOS-, R1600, DW, and a6m5, 'Goat, Zach . . . among many others, are presenting their stuff - it's always a treat to dip into this thread! :)

👍

Mine will improve too thanks to a more capable Camera that I just acquired that will let me zoom in from a bit afar without loosing focus, thus showing the entire car sharply instead of focused in the closer part and off-focus in the furthest part, like it naturally happens with a Macro function.

So I have my eye on a new car, a real one in particular. But I'm having a hard time deciding if it is worth trying to stop collecting to save up any bit I can. :*

Yeah, where is Ahmed at? Did he get lost in his garage and parking lots? I wonder what happened.
HEheHE I'm here I've been following you guys all of this time, sometimes It’s hard for me to write something because I do this at work and because I work in a Bank It's supposed that nobody have access to the Internet :scared: I know I shouldn’t do this but who cares

My work blocks anything suspicious. Good thing, probably. I won't get nothing done there between gtplanet & youtube!

More eBay related stories. I love "Best Offer" feature. If I like the item, but not very serious about it, I'll submit a low offer, which would equate to a really good deal for me.

Last night, this seller had Twin Mill I wanted for $7.98. She's a beaut. I offer $5.98, I get a email in this morning, it's accepted, I pay for it.

Couple nights ago, I find a Cadillac Hearse I want for $9.99. I think I offered $6, then counter offer is for $9.85. I then offered $8, which he counter offers $9.50. I don't know exactly what to make of the seller, but either way, I think his mom neglected her son when he was young, or drunk a little while pregnant with him.

Do you guys ever use the "Best Offer" feature on eBay? How much luck do you guys have with them? I do offer low(though nothing offensive), and I'm thinking maybe my odds are 20 ~ 33%?

I'm embarrassed. It actually used to be much worse, but I'm still very sloppy. :ouch:

Yeah, one time. I offered a couple dollars less, he countered with a 1 cent discount. I was like, seriously?! :dunce: I didn't even bother submitting another offer.

I know I shouldn’t do this but who cares

Your boss will once I give them a call. Start looking for a new job. :P

100% for me.

The seller I know sells loose cars for a super high price and allows haggling. The haggling option is there to sell to collectors who know a thing or two about a car's actual value and the listed price is for suckers. :P

At first I wouldn't try to set an offer too low, but I did last time (not "rip-off" cheap, but about 50% off the listed price), I tried it and he accepted them. He listed that Black Greenlight SLS AMG for around $7, I offered $4 and he was okay with it. He also ships really really cheap. Before US Postage skyrocketed, it used to be $4 for the first car and $0.25 for each additional.

Come to think of it, I think I do remember reading about that from your post. When they put the "Best Offer" option, what are they expecting? It's cases like this & my Cadillac Hearse one, it's as though if we are not within 10% of the list price, they are being total *insert another name for Richard* about it.

100%? While usually offering about 50% of the listed price? Come on now! If that's true, you are UBER lucky!

I don't like how the wheels have such a huge offset. That's why I decided to sell off the '65 Mustang Boulevard.

I'll tell you, but you can't let Jason or Kevin know. :P

And why is it that we shouldn't know? :P

I did purchase the cars for Ben and Cano. No pics yet, but I'll get them...later today. Left them in the car to hide them from my parents. Yes, I'm still sneaking diecast cars into the house...
