I'll stick to the cheaper models:

Not entirely sure whether these are knock-offs.

In that case, I should hold onto his passwords in case his accounts thaw. Just to be safe.

Are you serious? Look at that barn. It's FLAT! This photo is so fake! Look at that Focus. It's as big as the hut!

I think it has to do with perspective, AOS-. The reality was a knock off.

As for the finger off . . . watch those foxes, boys. They bite. ;)

Wonder if this was a knock-off.. . . .

Send it to me. I don't collect them anymore, but I can still inspect 'em with the best of e'm. .....not really.

I know you have one, Harry. I can check for you if you send it to me. There's a super tiny detail proving its authenticity that you can't find with a regular magnifying lens or the naked eye..... or clothed for that matter.

That was a finger-off.

What the hell is a "finger-off"? A new menu item at KFC?

Wrong, Harry. I think it's time you went to bed. Those are 100% AUTHENTIC Maisto cars from the Fresh Metal lineup.

I've been to bed. ;) Now it's time for a cold Carlsberg.

I've suspected that's what these things are, TG I held on to them. Not knock-ofss, eh. That's good. *rubbing palms.

Finally rich.

Also - got your post about the Karmann Ghia - yes, please, hold for me - shall send you a PM soon.

Please, page 1 is so overrated. Page 15 is where it's at.

I guess they were Australian exclusives, I honestly don't really know. Anyway to make you even more jelly, here's a old pic I took of it. :P

And I am even MORE jelly now, I need two slices of bread and peanut butter!

Cano
Damn, I',m jelly and I don't even know what the heck with those cars. Awesome pair.

Also, Ahmed, chat!

Yeah, where is Ahmed at? Did he get lost in his garage and parking lots? I wonder what happened.

Welcome to the club :). And is that R34 legal in the States? :sly:👍

I see...:rollseye::lol:

@Sony: No problem man. Whenever I find a rarity, I always cherish it like it's my pet. And finding HWs like that police car and the rest is something that would beat my common but somewhat rare cars that I can find in stores.

I had to do a quick errand yesterday and my local stores have gotten a fresh stock of HWs, finally :D! They had cars ranging from 2011 up to 2013s, so many to chose from, seriously. I only got a few, probably go back out this weekend to see what they got. Here's what I got.

2 Porsche 918s
1 Nissan Skyline R34
1 Dodge SRT-8 Charger Drift Car
1 Ford Falcon XB
1 Chevy Corvette C4 ( and there's no rust bucket here :P)
1 Chevy Camaro Z28 '70
1 Subaru Impreza WRX STi GR
1 BMW 2002ti
1 Acura/Honda NSX

I hope they got my Evasive S2K and E30 M3 and the E92 M3 in black. :D

Which Walmart/Toys R Us do you go to?

eBay's more than enough. Take it from me - the man who's put down probably around $300 in shipping costs over the past year.

:P

Great financial plan! I should probably stop buying hot wheels and start buying AutoART cars instead.

I was doing my grocery shopping and saw it from a Loblaws Superstore.

Oh, another poor soul. Welcome man. Your next buy should be the 1995 '67 Camaro Trasure Hunt, or the Maserati Mistral redline. Google them.

 Hold on... Cano... I need to start drawing a line with the Hotwheels 1:64 collection. Let's not tread those deeper waters.

Photon... is this a new release? Nice catch! 👍

A little late to the welcome party, but welcome to the thread! :D And...that McLaren Speed Machines is not a new release. I wish it was... :(

After Walmart, local flea market, and Target ended up as an annoying disappointment with overstocked old stock, I almost thought of giving up looking for several weeks or even a month or more. X_x Decided to stop by TRU through all this disappointment of anything new... Turns out they did have something worth buying! Found the Retro Entertainment cars, some Hot Ones I've never found, Tomica Lotus Exige, and finally decided to get the Boulevard Corvette.

It's been a while since I purchased some cars... Wish I could have had a look around during our trip to and from Pennsylvania. :grumpy:

They've also got the Muppets bus and the A-Team van. Other than that there's just KARRs and the S&B Firebirds. :P I'll be back for the A-Team van.

Ack. How much are they?

$5 each. But it's fine with me, although I'd be looking for a trade. >_>

Kevin, you should've bought that Corvette the very first time you saw it. Thing's beautiful.

I do regret not getting it earlier at Walmart...which was several cents cheaper. But hey, it is a good looking diecast.

Also found the Matchbox 60th anniversary cars at TRU...

As Kevin (aka Medigo) says it is old hat, now. But you never know . . . these things surface in the oddest places.
I'm sure there is plenty to be had on the interwebz (but that takes the thrill of the find away, and only fulfils your lust for possession.)

I see that you go grocery shopping to buy cars. You'll fit in very well here.

Oh, awesome, I like trades (:

what would you be looking for?

I'm heading to work in a couple minutes, but I'll message you later. About 9 hours later. >_> (Indeed I like trades too, mostly because I like to change up my collections but also because I don't have PayPal) Message me with whatever you're looking for if it's more than just KARR from the Retro Entertainment or w/e else you'd like. I prefer to send more than one car for efficiency purposes. :P

@ Cano - finally got your box, but it's signature required and I'm not home during the day so it's waiting for me at the post office.....which I can't get to until Saturday. May have to call them and tell them to hold it.

Ok, I'll PM you later, I also have stuff to do so it may also take like 9 hours lol.

Just before I head out, I'm mostly looking for Tomicas (if they work out as an equal trade for the items you're looking for) or certain Matchbox/HWs.

AWESOME! Well, at least it arrived and it didn't take a month.

@Medigo, let me see what tomicas I can dig out, but I don't really have much.
