Don't exaggerate(urusei!), it was $4.25. I can't get that thing in stores anymore, so it's very reasonable, considering. :D:tup:

Edit: It's dead heat. Look at our post counts.

I told you I was coming for your title. Kiss your number 19th position goodbye already. You're not getting it back.

Also, I was looking at the related items under the listing, and all the Land Rovers were roughly $5. Didn't expect collectors to like Land Rovers enough to do such a heinous thing. I was seriously hoping to believe I overpaid for mine for $3. Well, I did. The carded one I got earlier from another seller had the bid at a dollar and I won that.

That's OK. We dropped Keef, together.

Car cost new one dollar. Anybody not named Jason charge premium for cars that old + shipping, so $4~$5 for the grand total makes sense to me.

If you are not seeing the cars in stores it's because the stores didn't buy any. Not Mattel's fault.
I wish we could find out what exactly is going on. I mean, nobody has Boulevards, Hot Ones, or any other premium series. Exception has been that Flying Customs series, but the supply dropped, as soon as the cool cars were being introduced. I don't know about where you live, but stores I've checked, not one store or chains carry any of those hot wheels. They are all over internet for at least double their retail price though.
What is the deal there? Too much money? Faked?

Hot Ones were replaced by Flying Customs. Because some of the Boulevard cars from last year didn't sell, some retailers (including Target) have decided not to carry them anymore. The only other premium series out right now are the Retro Entertainment and I just read a couple threads on HWC that people are starting to find them at Walmarts. So keep an eye out.

Right on, that is a good news. 👍

SIKU Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport:

Looks good and I love the cast. But the Siku's wheels are kinda weird on the Veyron though or is it me? :odd:

But nice car regardless. 👍

Spacegoat
I've got the Matchbox Tony Longhurst Castrol Falcon, but I've never seen those two before. Cool stuff. 👍

Jarrod and zaka, you guys are lucky and I'm jelly :P. I haven't seen any of those MB Falcons in the States back in the day when I was a kid. Are they Australia exclusives or sold international?

AOS-
I got pics of the new arrivals here.

Those two cars were missing from the original parcels they came in and today they've arrived!

Also, woot to the new camera angle? Shinji's stuff came in as well. Took a nice pic of the Stingray.

I like the Challenger RT, pure badass in Hemi Orange. 👍

Cano
Nah, I understand. It's pretty horrible in poop brown but it's one of the rarest Hot Birds ever made. Ok, I'll tell you what to really look for disregarding collecting value:

Classics in blue and black:

Boulevard:

Garage:

and the very first one with gold Hot Ones:

One of these should at least move you a bit.

Man, I gotta find me a Hot Bird aka Firebird again one day. I had the orange one with the pink interior . Loved that car to pieces, but that metallic blue.....👍.

Anyway, check out this crap.

WTF?! Over $200 dollars and $4 shipping?! I wouldn't pay that amount for a car that costs $1. That money would be for a AutoArt or to something else. But what can I say, there will always be a moron who will buy this.

Edit: Well, I didn't find anything cool or new for 2013 yesterday, but I did find myself a retro new VW Beetle though. And that's about it.

I'm sure you are aware of this.

Yes I am, might try to get it, but since it looks basically the same as the Boulevard version, it doesn't take my sleep away. I'd rather have the Ecto 1, that thing is cool with all the detail, but alas, it will be expeeeensive.

Haha, I haven't even seen the damn thing. If I ever find an error of this, it's going straight to the bay.

That would explain why they never update their stock. All that remains now are Hot Tubs, Austin Healeys, Honda Civics, and Whatta Drags. And the likely case is that no boulevards are going to be ordered until those sell, which they won't. Mattel should learn to stop wasting their money turning unwanted castings into real riders.

At this point, we may as well just order cases online. If anyone wants to split a Boulevard case, PM me.

Well the cars retail for $4.99 and are worth it with the rubber tires, extra tampos & detailing, and a metal base. But since the initial distribution sucks, the prices are skyrocketing on eBay. :yuck:

If they start to show up in your area, you'll have homework

I don't see why and how a part stores can afford to sell it as low as Walmart. They could but only if it's a high-volume store which I'm guessing it isn't.

No they're not. They do sell cars (same with O'Reilly) but they are usually marked up quite a bit. Basic Hot Wheels are usually $1.60-ish. That's why those Speed Machine Ferrari's were $5 each.

Poor Warlock is so over looked as a truck.
Much better looking than the 'Express, and you could get a 440 in it.

Needs stacks on it. Any american truck is better with stacks!:dopey:👍
Hell yeah. It'll go in my White Series, in the Classic Racer category.
Okey just making sure, i was about to PM you on what color you planned to do but it appears you already told me.:) Like i said in the customizing thread, i try to do things that no one has ever done before, and i was making sure i don't accidently copy you. Luckly white is not what i was planning on doing, (though it did cross my mind) mine is going to be sun yellow.:)

I remember seeing in one of Lamley's weekly blog on customs a photo of a 935/78 painted black. There was no other longtail casting other than the Road Racers which are still highly sought after, so customizing one of those was and still is a huge waste of a great casting. And it's not like it was that great of a paintjob either.
Yea i saw that one to! The way it comes down so long, it kind of reminds me of of them Cruisin series vehicles from 2004 in a way.;)
@Sony: Woah! I'm impressed with your graduation presents, like Cano said, you hit the pay dirt with those rare HWs. I like them, but that Police Cruiser......amazing!👍

Real jelly bro!
Yea I couldn't help but stare when i first saw it, i was so amazed! That Custom Police Cruiser was the whole reason why we even went to this antique mall in the 1st place! I had wanted it so badly and i told my neighbor and we went there and i thought i was only going to get that one but turns out i got alot more!:dopey: I tell you i love that Police Car alot, it was so expensive i thought i would never get it, but i did!:D Both the Custom Police Crusier and the Seasider are totally on my all time favorites list!:D

Please, page 1 is so overrated. Page 15 is where it's at.

I guess they were Australian exclusives, I honestly don't really know. Anyway to make you even more jelly, here's a old pic I took of it. :P

Damn, I',m jelly and I don't even know what the heck with those cars. Awesome pair.

Also, Ahmed, chat!

Yeah I know $15 is expensive, but I would rather buy a super rare car than a highly detailed one I can buy any other time.

Today wasn't a complete loss though, I went to Walmart and they had F-case cars out.
Strangely though, the pegs were a little more than half full. Last time I checked that Walmart was Thursday. :odd:

What was also interesting was the Live Batmobile I found laying on the shelf. Has there been any talk about re-releasing that in the F-case just like the Angry Birds cars?
Anyway, the Swamp Buggy, Batmobile, Back Slider, Fast Gassin', and Combat Medic all go to my girlfriend. All else are for me. :D
