That'd be a little more than $15 of the Retro Entertainment cars. Ack! Excluding tax and shipping... I'll still try and grab you and Cano the Edsel.

Ugh. Was watching some Nissan Titans on eBay, hoping to sneak in and snag them at the last minute for a good price.....and now that's not going to happen. :ouch:

Anyway, just made a small trip to Walmart to see if they got their dump bin. Big fat negative, but there were 3, just 3, F-case cars on the pegs (Nova Wagons) and no other F-case cars to be found anywhere. :odd:

Same here! There was a solitary Custom Fleetwood at my Walmart this evening. All else were Es.

What kind of Nissan Titan are we talking about? Obviously not mainline. Also, nice Fairlane, Ben. I've had that thing in my hand at Walmart stores more than once. Finally, Medigo, I already had that 2000GT($11!) way before the stolen $TH version. :P

Oh yeah, also at the Walmart this evening, they had paper signs hanging up showing how they are going to redo the shelving of the toy car isle in the spring for the employees. It said SPRING 2013 on the top.

I took photos of all of the "WAL-MART STORES, INC. - CONFIDENTIAL" signs if you would like me to upload them.

The only things of interest were:
Five pegs of Jukebox
Four pegs of Flying Customs
Four pegs of Retro Entertainment
Four pegs of HW COLL VEHICLE ASRT
Two pegs of Boulevards
Four pegs of 60th anniversary MBXs

HW 100 CAR CASE
HW STREET PWR ASRT - Don't know what that means.
HW MNSTRVL -SIGN DL - Also don't know what that means.
HW MJ DEMO ASRT - Same here, no clue.

I'm guessing the Tomica Limited 2000GT is worth it.

Scratch off the Audi R8 Ben, is there a Gumpert Apollo Siku there? Completely forgot that they have them! Sorry!

Here's the pic I posted of it.

My bad, mine had racing crap on it. I forgot. :D Also, the front end:

P.S. I think they are both nice. I figured that the Tomica Limited would be more detailed, but I'm not gonna lie, the Hot Wheels version is just as good in its own way. 👍

I saw bunch of tags hanging on the pegs at Walmart, too. They were empty like they were going to start hanging new cars there that night. I don't live close to it, so it's not like I can go check it every other night.

Gosh, might just go buy my first ever thing online...
Tomica or Hot Wheels, I don't think you could go wrong either way..... though knowing your preference, I think we might have an idea which way you might go. :sly:

Edit: OK, thanks to Zach, my comment sounds TOTALLY wrong. Wrong as in wrong.

Ill see if I can find a Gumpert Apollo for you. If I cant find one did you still want the R8?

Gosh, might just go buy my first ever thing online...

Keep in mind the Tomica is nicer because it is a $12 car. The Hot Wheels may have cost us the same amount, but it's still a $1 car sold pretty much anywhere. That's your quality difference.

Wow, some awesome hauls there guys:drool:

Got some new one's today from Big W:
First some M2's

They had also got more 10 packs in (no black XB's amongst them:()

Dang, second appearance for the Mercury Turnpike Cruiser, Fairlane & green Olds(I have that, too) this week! Love the Treasure Hunt in the ten-pack. How awesome is that.👍

P.S. I don't know if you read my post earlier, but that Turnpike Cruiser's worth some money.

Looks like the TL 2000GT listed for roughly $7. Considering that quality of the Super TH(rubber tires, etc.) is closer to that of Boulevard, Garage, etc., I think it's more like $3 versus $7.

I still think Hot Wheels did hell of a job though. I found it to be a very classy casting, and you know how critical I can be with the HW brand. :P

M2's all round:lol:
Yeah saw the Treasure Hunt in there and picked it up straight away, the Falken Cuda & another Evasive S2000 tipped me over the edge:D

I did see that mate, not sure about mine though, noticed when I'd got it home that the left tail light was missing:scared:

Oh no, sorry to hear that. :ouch: It's something commonly seen with the M2 cars in my area. I think people are just too careless handling them either in transit, or in stores. I just saw a beautiful red 442 at TRU, and the hood was completely loose. I passed.

P.S. I hope I find the Falken Cuda soon. Very cool. 👍

Thanks mate:tup: gives me more of an excuse to open it now:lol:
Yeah I'm always hanging cars back up at the stores, people don't care and just throw them round everywhere:grumpy:

Just like Kyosho, it comes with a card.

More pictures later.

Konami makes scale cars?!

That's it. I'm going to Japan, I know I will be broke as a old tree when I come back!

And I'm filled with jelly also. I need a Subie Legacy in my Subaru collection, GIVE IT TO MEEEEE........

And we thought they made just games!

OK, I just finished taking & uploading the pics. It was a work.

First, Matchbox 60th cars:

Lemme explain. I first found half of those at Toys R Us. I'm like, I never find good cars at TRU, but they proved me wrong!..... Then I see them at Walmart for $1 less each. I've decided to return the TRU stuff, keep the Walmart ones. Anybody know how to open the package cleanly, swap the cars with the crap cars? I kid, I kid. Also found these Choro Q/Penny Racer knockoffs by Greenlight:

I named them AmeriQ's(I know, it's going to catch on). Didn't know if I should get it, but I liked it too much. Mercury Turnpike Cruiser by M2!:

Always liked its unique looks, but I won big with this one. I had never seen it before, so I eBay searched it. It seems to be a chase car of sort. They are worth $20! Now the rest & eBay + Toy Peddler cars:

Bought some of those from the same Toy Peddler seller again. Good shipping policy(not to mention service!). Bonus pic of the car I bought from him. I bought it for the dog inside!

Edit: Oh... P.S. Still no findy Retro Entertainment cars!

Nice finds A6. I gotta find one of those Gallado police cars too.

And I wonder if Konami makes action figures of the Metal Gear Series and Silent Hill series as well, if they do..... Holy 🤬!!!

The guys in Japan and in Asia have the coolest stuff, I mean it!:eek:

MedigoFlame
Also...has the Hakosuka Skyline and Datsun 510 wagon appeared in stores yet? While looking around through the internet, I noticed something of a personal interest. I have the same birthday as the Hakosuka Skyline!! :D Although...there's a 25 year difference.

Well, I'm close to the R32 Skyline GTR also! Both me and the car in 1989, but I'm late July and he's late August. I have a tight, very tight bond with the Skylines. :D

So you and me both .

McZachenF1138
K-Day cars:

Two TH Continentals (could of had a third one, but I let someone else find it)
Regular and $uper TH Riviera.
Flintmobile
K-Mart exclusive colors
Girlfriend and I both got our numbers called. :D

They also had the Smokey, Muppets, A-Team, K.A.R.R.,and American Graffiti Edsel cars, but I figured I'd wait to see what else I'd get at the event and then get those Retro cars. I went back after and they were practically all gone. Damn other collectors. :grumpy:

I feel like the two of us were the most normal people there. All the other two dozen collectors were weird and mean. Some guy horded 15 Nova wagons. Some people.

Great finds, but did they have the S2K with Team Evasive logos yet? Man I gotta go to one of these KDay events one day. And whats up with the nut job taking 15 Nova Wagons? Does he know they aren't $TH? :odd::lol:

Some people.

Spacegoat
Seriously, go to hell. :grumpy:

O_o Wha, Wha, WHA?!

@R1600: Nice finds as well, but did they have any M3 E30s around? And these so called "collectors" make me laugh at these events, I mean they act blood thirsty for a $TH.

@Sony: Sweet finds there dude. I remember that blue truck was one of my favorites when I was a kid and did your brother have the orange 1500? I did, that was a excellent truck for racing. :D

The Tomy is a great model, and I have a couple of examples I need to photograph, but I prefer the Hot Wheels. It maybe lacks slightly on detail, but the stance and silhouette are perfect:
