My first ever one of this Mini casting and I have to say I'm impressed with the details on it! Although mine had it's tampos printed off slightly. The white roof isn't straight on as well as the Mini badge. Quite annoying...

Was at the Wal-Mart earlier, came across this box of "Mystery Models". Normally I avoid these like STDs because I always think I'll get a hideous car I do not want but since the store had none of the cars I wanted, I finally gave in and prayed it was something I actually wanted. I opened it up and holy crap, I struck it lucky. The car: Ford Shelby GR-1  :D

For a while, I was never able to get that car and now I finally have it. After the good luck I got with this find, I may look into those mystery ones abit more often should I not be able to come across the ones I want.

A bit easier way to get what you want, is to look at the number printed on the front of the bag printed right next to the production code. Like E??/00? The bolded number is what you want to look for and on the back should be the number of the vehicle itself.

At 1:26, Racegrooves explains the process.

The Super chromes were the lot from hemi_hauler. He understated condition IMO. The lot was something like $17 with shipping!

I came across a shoebox of MANY beat up matchbox in my basement. Pics tomorrow! Mostly late 70s-early 90s stuff, but tough to say exactly.

Aaah, then its the other one. How much did you put on it? That thing is quite expensive

Also looking forward to the matchboxes!

Can't wait to see it! :D

Here's the car I was telling Jarrod about last week:

I actually bought five cars, but battery indicator started flashing on me so...... other pics to follow. I recommend this seller from the Toy Peddler. I think he had $3 for loose car shipping, with comment on how he combines shipping. Many seller actually bump up the shipping quite a bit with that, but this seller, with five cars, plus a bonus car he added(mainline, but a real beauty!), I think it was roughly $4 total. 👍👍 As always, another recommended seller from me is Tony, who clearly mark his combined shipping fee, which is very reasonable. Both seller offer excellent service.

Thank god it hasn't become a problem here.

There is no question about it. It is stealing.

That 917K and 930 Turbo!

I'm really jelly with the Porsche Pack. Who did this pack, Hot Wheels? Since it says Mattel on the bottom of the 917K. I haven't seen this before.

I want this pack ASAP!

Sounds like a treat to me! Can't wait to see them. :)

@RACECAR: Congrats on your Mystery Car bro! And for future reference, the video that Kevin got from YouTube will help you out discovering more cars from the Mystery Bags.

And inside each bag, they will have a poster with all of the cars and their code numbers. 👍

Wow thats some awesome cars there guys:eek:
That Gulf Porsche:drool: (goes straight to ebay) and nice colour on the Ruff Trek too mate, haven't seen that one:tup:

Nothing new round my area, BigW had Hot Wheels 5 for $5 over the weekend but I only grabbed a few doubles that I wanted, also grabbed this from eBay so I didn't have to open my other one and coudn't pass it up for $2:D

@AOS: Nice lot of cars for sale there mate, I calculated the shipping to get it over here and worked out to be $66:crazy:

AMAZING loose matchbox collection split up into singles -- seller is bobbo13 on ebay

Bmw, vauxhall, Opel, Volvo, Porsche, Merc, Jeep Cherokee, Wrecker, transits...worldwide releases...some of them s-c-a-r-c-e! I was tempted to keep this to myself, but the more who are aware, the higher the price, wick will hopefully keep me buying hot wheels instead!

This is my hot wheel collection, or I like to call it my Hall of Fame. These are my best selected cut!

These ones, sadly did not make the cut.

I forgot to add these. These cost a whopping $12.00!!! 🤬
But they were kind of worth it. Please leave feed back thanks! :)

I've only got the Rock 'n' Rescue too, got it at a swap meet last year along with a Red XB Falcon. You just reminded me that I still need to get the others.

Also I can't see your picture, for some reason it won't load. :odd:

I like the 928, but they don't make very cool hot wheel cars. There is that cool Final Run model though.....
More Retro series photos.
If I still collected....... full time, I'd have bought bunch of those. I'm getting one of each. :P

It was going for a lot on eBay. I got it from a seller on Toy Peddler for $15. I think $20 would be OK for the car, which also happens to be the general going rate for newer Super Treasure Hunt cars.
Hot Wheels?
Yes!
These cost a whopping $12.00!!! 🤬
They are sweet(I have the firebird duo), but yes, spendy.

I wish there was an Ultimate Factories episode on the Hot Wheels factory.
I might watch something like that..... yeah, I would. :P

P.S. I'll try to get the two Boulevards mailed out tomorrow morning, Thursday morning at the latest. I'm in no hurry though, so if you can mail my cars out this weekend, great, if not, no biggie.

Then I'm gonna watch it, even if they have it for two hours, I'll get some popcorn and soda to settle my hunger.

I'm just thinking how sweet it will be if this does happen.

@A6: Thanks, I'm gonna look Hot Wheels Porsche 5 pack up ASAP. 👍

Ah, thank you. 👍

There was a seller listing bunch of new Boulevard, so I ordered SVO, Brat, Fiesta & the old elusive 67 or whatever blue Camaro(you have one). Asked him if he had more, and he had the CRX & Hurst Olds, so I order them, too. I'll let you guys know how the deal goes. So far, the seller's been fantastic & he worked with me to keep the shipping low as well. 👍

A seller had all those at the last HW meet, but for $5 each. I need the BRAT and the Belvedere (huge Christine fan) and might get the SVO, not sure yet.

I overpaid, and knew that going in:

I figured that I would be spending at least $3.50 each on these, lord knows how much gas & time spent finding them. Add in the risk of never ever finding something like BRAT, I figured I'll just get it over with.

I did the math, and 6(cars) x $3.50 is $21. It's like spending $10 more, which is no more than raiding bunch of Walmart in my area, which I don't do anymore. I like it!

Edit: I still need Astro & probably GT40.

Yeah, I can see that.

Also, you'll be happy to know. That as of this morning, there is Ruff Trek Ute in the mail with my name on it. :D
