Negative. I got an extra Blue Subaru w/Gold MC5's that you probably already have. Did you need the white RX-7?

Ok. And I have the blue Subie yes, but they have the SP10s wheels not MC5 though...... So you can add him to my group.

I can wait until the weekend to see the pics.

It's in Mix 4 (last release for Boulevard :()

Man I gotta find this one soon.....:drool: If you run into a few 993s, remember me. ;)

We got your confession in writing, stupid. j/k :P

I want my lawyer then! j/k :P:lol:

I knew I was guilty when confessing, just messing with ya.

@Harry: Well, I'll say HW/MB FTW! Since they are everywhere here and come with a cheap price. The quality is picking up, but they need to improve those huge rear wheels on some cars ( the Evora GT4 and GT500 Super Snake for an example) and place the tampos on the cars correctly.

But HW/MB is #1. :)👍

Maisto 1:64s are not my cup of tea. They look poorly done and can break easily. They have some cool cars, but I only get those ones only if I can't find them from the others in 1:64 size or for early customs. #4 is what they get from me. 👎

Tomicas, JLs and Sikus are great cars. The doors open up, and along with HW/MB, the quality is amazing. The Johnny Lighting cars are beauties as well. With their rubber tires and bonus features that come with them makes them special to the North America market and cater to many types from US Muscle to Iconic race cars from around the world.

But due to limitations in North America (No GT86/BRZ/FR-S, R33 GTRs and other sweet JDM cars sold here. :() And for JLs, I barely see them in stores anymore whenever I go out and/or if they still do :(. I have to say this group comes in #2 spot. 👍

Kyoshos 1:64s are beautiful. It's like they shrunk a 1:18-1:32 car into a 1:64. The cars have everything from the three premium 1:64s makers put into one. I'm buying one of these soon (if I can.)

But like the Tomicas and Sikus, not sold in stores in the NA markets and if they were, probably in hobby stores or in FAO Sharwtz at model car prices like on the interwebs. Sadly I give them a #3. 👍 I want to give them #1 or #2, but they're rarer and more expensive. :(

Hey! Zero! If you had only two choices of brands in 1:64 Diecasts, what would you choose?

Given unlimited budget/nonexistant availability issues, M2 Machines and Kyosho, by far faaaar.

given how things really are, Hot Wheels and... hot wheels, lol. Very sad :guilty:

Did you guys notice how me & Cano weaseled out of the second choice of make to Harry's question?

How about a new question. If you can keep only three cars, which cars would you keep? Off the top of my head, I'm thinking I'd hang onto:

  1. Hot Wheels Vintage Racing Datsun Bluebird/510
  2. Hot Wheels RLC - Texas Drive 'Em
  3. ?????????????????

If you get the chance, get me one. I don't have to have one, but it's a neat car.

Two choices? You are sick Harry. Sick!!!!

As you said Hot Wheels are a given but I'd probably have to go with Tomica for my second just because of the variety of cars

Only three? And you think Harry's the sick one?

1. Matchbox Holden Ruff Trek Ute.
2. Tomica Limited RX-7 Racing Car.
3. Hot Wheels Vintage Racing Datsun 510.

Tomica is solid, even if just for the "Limited" cars. Honestly, I don't know if I could choose between Johnny Lightning & Greenlight though. #1 HW, #2 JL, #4(tie) GL & Tomica perhaps.

3. Hot Wheels Vintage Racing Datsun 510.
Holden Ruff Trek Ute tops your collection already!?👍 I didn't know you had the Vintage Racing 510. Very nice. Now go check out how much they sell for on eBay(when I bought mine, it was $9). :D I couldn't choose the third car, but my stock Tomica Limited RX-7 is a strong contender for the third spot.

Hmmm, I like this question, I just wish I could be able to answer it.
My favorite Hot Wheels of all time that would be on this list change practically daily, but with my current feelings, I'm gonna have to go with:

1. Datsun BB/510 Wagon
2. E30 M3
3. '83 Chevy Silverado

Dude, of course it's awesome. I'm keeping an eye on this one now. Hopefully it will stay under $10, I doubt it though.

That takes me back. The Datsun and the Ken Block Fiesta were the first two cars I posted pics of in this thread.

Holy hell. I think I paid around $14- $15 for mine, way back then. Bargain.

That tailgate's so cool on that truck. 👍

That's the one I have. I found another one, but the listing says domestic shipping only. Worst case scenario, maybe we can arrange a trade or something down the line. ;)

Yeah, just crazy. I can't believe it was the first car you posted. 👍

If it's cars I don't have:

That is a cool Corvette(worthy!) at the top. What is it?

It's cars you gonna keep, so you have to have them in your collection. :P I have that CM's Stratos, and come awfully close to buying that Celica before. Sweet car, I still want it, too. 👍

Ugh, that is quite difficult for me. From the car itself to the quality... I'm thinking... Not entirely based off of ones that I actually have.

1. Tomica Limited Toyota Crown (Obviously!)
2. Tomica Limited Toyota 2000GT (Obsessed with this car)
3. Kyosho Nissan Skyline 2000GT-R KPGC10 (aka Hakosuka)

I feel so biased... Wanted to put in a European car, but couldn't think of any.

Never mind the Apollo. I want the SLR Mclaren. Well actually, I want the Apollo too. There should be a matchbox casting of it.

@a6m5 - If the three cars have to be from my present collection - then these three (took the pic just now) because they are irreplacable.

Via online sellers, and toy shops I could replace every one of the rest of my 2500+ 1:64s, but not those three.

If you can ever figure out my reasoning one day, you will be handed the official no-prize.

Here's the reasoning:

The Major T-Bird belonged to one of my sons (in Uni now) and was carried around by him almost everywhere. It has many stories connected to it - including being lost on a camping trip and being found run over by multiple real cars on a gravel driveway up to the campsites. It also kept him company till the FD came over one day and freed him from a McDonald's chair that had trapped his arm (he had somehow stuck it in there and couldn't get it out.) Many memories with that one. Sentimental Value. Irreplaceable.

The Lesney Zodiac was a car that another of my kids (the 'bright' one) had stolen when he was around three, and modified himself. Much later on, when I discovered it in his possession, and mutated with whiteout and a small square of black plastic I nearly had a stroke. I let him have it till he cleared out his room one day (in his teens) and asked me whether I would like to have it back - (the impertinent scoundrel). I took it back reluctantly, but when I asked him what the square of black plastic was he replied that it was a carbon hood; that suddenly made it very valuable to me. I was impressed that my three-year old knew about carbon hoods. Sentimental Value. Irreplaceable.

As for the Husky Jag . . . those who have lived with this thread would know why I wouldn't part with that. Easy to find online for about $25.00 maybe, but Sentimental value? Irreplaceable.

That was the reasoning. ;)

Here's some close-ups of some venerable 911s I have:

If only life were that easy to edit . . . :)

I enjoyed your joke; you recognised it as whiteout and not paint. 👍

If there was no sentimental value attached to the question, then I will have to second what Cano said.

You didn't answer my question. :sly:

D'oh! :dunce:

It was late man, sorry. But no, I got the white RX7 22Cs. Three of them exactly. :sly:

So I'll pass, thanks 👍.

@Harry: Love the stories about the cars from your kids Harry. Cars that have history behind them from childhood makes those cars even more valuable than any currency in the world couldn't even buy. :)
