WTH with your time-travelling Wal Mart.

Also, dude, my JLs ):

Very odd to find something like that still on the pegs to be sure.
And that's one of the 'toons' I don't have.

Gathered up a whole bunch of my FEs for a group shoot - here are some from 1998 onwards:

Aaugh you're wasting that illustration board by bending it like that :P

I'd draw all over it. 24x36?

Back to die-casts :

Out of that bunch I held back these for display, and some for opening (long overdue, but new cars keep being bought and brought home, which jams up the queue)

So I went to the thrift store today and found a bag of cars containing a heavily chipped '37 Bugatti with the matte black/red paintjob and WW BW wheels. The whole bag was $4. Is it worth grabbing?

(edit: It's from 1982?!)

Would it have also been worth grabbing another $4 bag that had a beat up lime '01 Civic Si?

I just don't know if the time and/or effort put into restoring what I can is worth it.

Awesome. I'll grab it tomorrow then. Rusted axles aren't cool though and there are some deep bites in the surface. I wouldn't bother restoring surface imperfections and tampos if it's too difficult, but I can try to find a nail polish that matches that satin lime as best as I can though.

I'd get that Bugatti just because it's a beautiful car.
I have both variations of that colour combo; with and without the red on the hood. :D
Although they are slightly worn.

I was at Walmart earlier today digging through the Hot Wheels bin, and I do have to admit I do look a little to old to be buying Hot Wheels, but some of the looks I get are like people think i'm insane. But anyways I found the Nissan Skyline F&F brand car and a red Toyota 2000GT.

I used to feel that way when I was younger (early teens), but I'm nearly 20 and just don't care anymore.
If I see a new bin, I'll go get a buggy, transfer all the cars to there, then go through them stacking them back in the bin. I am by no means the only person who does this though.
Do that, then tell me about getting crazy looks.

But people who aren't really into Hot Wheels, toy car collecting, or even cars in general for that matter, don't know that there are tons of people young and old who collect them. So next time someone tells me they collect whatever, then make fun of my HW collecting habits, I'll be sure to say something.

Middle-aged unattractive men. [/inconvenient truth] :P

Anyway, does anyone have any Fast Fish or '66 Chevy Novas?

I got tons of stuff I can offer.

That '66 casting is so badass, especially the flat black one with dark red stripes.
I detailed it a while ago put some flat black Torque Thrusts on it. Definitely Satan's Chevy.

I want one to do exactly that. Now that I have so many wheelswap fodder I'm trying to find cars from previous years that would work well with new wheels onto them.

I can assume the '66 Novas are keepers for you?

I got a email from another buyer I found who also gave the seller (who sold a lot of 100 and never shipped) a negative feedback. There were a few others who ran into the same scenario so I'm thinking of reporting this person to eBay to see if they can do anything about it.

BTW, Zac, you got a list of stuff yet? I'm going to be working on new ebay listings soon, so please send me something whenever you got time.

I just want to trade a set of recolour castings for another set. Anybody want G37s or Golf GTis?

Will do imbalance trading (i.e. you give me 4 cars, I give you 10).

Dude, really, just stop buying trash you'll later on get rid of while losing money. Really.

Latest e-bay purchase. Been wanting one of these for a while, scored this one for a decent price. Would have been better if the auction had stayed at 0.99 cents, but whatever. Apparently this particular model was pulled not long after being released. (something to do with the Holden logo on the bonnet, I believe)

Well, most of the old stuff is probably gone by now. Just picking leftovers in the bins.

I've been far too busy to keep up on the stuff for you and Andy. Got lists for your cars, but nothing interesting to add. JLs especially, they won't update it at all!

I only need 1 G37, doubt you have it.

Which G37 would that be?

Edit: Also...the newest batch of Pixar cars are hanging around my local stores. I'm just that tempted to buy the Jaguar E-Type thing... But it's got a headset. And eyes. And it's $4. :indiff:

Generally not a big fan of Australian racers(as you may have noticed!), but this one's pretty sweet. 👍 Copyright violation car! Cool!!

Well then tell me what else do they have. Greenlight? M2? Other interesting HW series?
