50 cents per car isn't too much of a profit loss, is it? Hopefully not.
Well, it was dealt with loss though, right? While there was no profit, when you take into account the types of cars & the volume you were moving, as long as you are happy with the selling price, it was a good sale!

Mainlines were sold at 3 for $1, while everything else was adjusted accordingly. Originally came up to $88, I tried to sell it for $90, but I got worried no one would buy it and ended up marking it down to $70 eventually.

Jackson, I've been wanting to find that Satin green 24/Seven for ages. If you happen to come across one for a fairly decent price at your locals, could you grab one for me please?

Never noticed that there was a new Mystery Models series.. Not many realistic cars, but I do quite like the Elise Sport.

Apologies if I'm a little late. :scared:

Only if you quit calling me Jackson.

Oh come on... first you play along and now you can't get over it? :P

If you find a Satin Green 24/Seven at your local meets, could you please buy me one, Jason?

edit: oh joy. I need to get my hands on those Mystery cars too. a '63 T-Bird, Elise and Fangula.

edit edit: Awesome find: That Mastermind store's a Canadian business, they carry Sikus and it's free shipping for Canadians with orders over $15.

If anyone has anything they'd like to get, I can order it for you. Good chance to bulk up your parcel with the Cobra II, Cano.
;)

I disagree and eBay sales say otherwise. You just don't like them because you're an "OMG MUSCLE CARS" guy.

Word. Thanks for the input.

Cano's a silly Muscle Head. You'd have to wonder why he even has a set of them.

Wrong, both of you. I'm a fully saturated car guy who can appreciate any kinds o cars. Hot rods and muscle cars happen to be my favorites, but I like all of it. Heck, I'll even say that after old american cars, japanese cars are my second love, both old and new(ish).

I laugh at $30 for those because they're from not even ten years ago. Nothing mainline that new even comes close to that price. Heck I've bought cars from 1991, carded, on E-Bay, for 75 cents, shipped.

What you need, people, is patience.

EDIT: I don't like new Sikus. I only have the 300 SL and the Citroen Traction Avant, all others are new lame european stuff. Vintage Sikus are something else altogether.

Supply and demand my friend. 10 years may not seem that long ago, but in the Hot Wheels world were things disappear from pegs after a couple months and the only place to get things is the secondary market, limited supply = big bucks. Four of those Skylines for $30 is a good deal, considering the blue one with the black wheels fetches the most at around $15 by itself on a bad day. And your $.75 cents shipped example sucks. :P

Just got back from Wally World. What you see is what I purchased. The cars on the left are mine and you cannot have them. The cars on the right are available for trade/purchase and you guys can fight over them. :sly:

Leftovers go on the 'bay. Sorry for bad photo, it's night time and I have bad lighting. Beware they were in a huge metal cage dump bin and the cards are not perfect. The TH Mustang has a crushed blister.

Maybe it's because you're on the lappy, but use the proper img URL and put it in IMG tags and everything will be alright:

BTW if that's an Exige I don't have, I'd kill for it. How much you want for it? A briefcase full of loose cars?

Thanks for the info, but no I'm not selling my Exige, that's my only one and my favorite Lotus next to my '96 Elise and Esprit V8 GT SE. Sorry.

And congrats on the huge sell to, glad somebody buying your cars. 👍

R1600Turbo
There's no Zamac Pagani, it was just a silver recolor which I haven't seen yet. I think he had R34's, will have to check again next week. He also had a couple more FR-S's but I skipped over them. No GT2's, but I do still have that other one I bought.

Oh, I though the Pagani was a Zamac. When you go back to the meets and he has them, I'll take two R34s and 2-3 FR-S. Thanks when you pick them up. :)

And about that GT2, are you planning to do something with it? If you aren't I'll gladly take it. Get back at me when you read this.

P.S. Phil's pic. Size caught me off-guard.

Phil actually posting a picture caught me off guard. Seriously though, great stuff Phil, looking forward to seeing more. 👍

So I got you guys huh?

But thanks on the comments though 👍. I have some stored in on myGTP page in my 2nd album for adding and I gonna get my photobucket up soon so that'll be later though. I'll post more later or next week. And BTW, these are my older up to 2012 cars in the pics, newer ones will be up soon.

I haven't seen these yet, so your good Kevin. And I need that Elise Sport bad!

You the man! Thanks. 👍

Can you guys believe I've yet to see green, orange or white Kool Kombi in stores? What is the deal with those things. At least I'll have all three colors after this!

No, I already had the green(McZ) & orange(TTP, I think), so all good. When my coworker casually picked one up off a peg like it was nothing(he doesn't even collect), I was slightly annoyed.....

All the good stuff I found tonight, was at the very bottom of that dump bin. It was two sided, got to the bottom of the first one and found the TH Fire Eater and I was like...ohhh. Then I found another, then the TH Mustang, then a couple Zamacs. Mostly L and M case stuff on the right side. Then the newer N case stuff on the left, the Fiesta TH and the newer Zamacs.

That TH RX-7's gonna be a real challenge. I'm gonna go wait & see on that one, as I think they are going for close to around ten bucks right now.

My purchases off Toy Peddler tonight:

$2.99, ea. I don't have the shipping quote yet, but I've bought from him before, so I trust him. I think he's still going. I was following everything he listed, and was so happy when I finally found the Olds 442! They go for $6 new at Walmart.

@R1600: Any FR-S at the store tonight?

And about that spare GT2 993, are you using it for your display or going to modify it? If you aren't, I'll take it.

I just brought a couple of Matchbox Cherry Bomb 57 Chevys off ebay. One of them had make an offer on it so I put $13. The seller knocked that back and came back with $13.01. I got it for $13.01

Hey, he offered them to us first, eh?

You should have given the seller the Andy response:

"Take off, eh?........ hoser".

Any fans of the DR30?
I love that gen Skylines, but I think Kyosho blew this one. Tomica Vintage Neo I just saw(apparently just released) did not look like a home run to me, but it was better(it's also over $20 too though). Nearly bought the standard Tomica version, but that thing was closer to $15, so I passed on that, too.

It sucks, because I don't have any model of that car, and I really like them.

Picked up the following:

I can take a picture for the curious out there.

Matchbox Siren Force Ford Sierra circa 1990 on card
Matchbox Camaro IROC-Z circa 1987 on card
Matchbox Renault 11 Turbo circa 1986 on card
Matchbox Kenworth C.O.E Aerodyne circa 1983 on card
Matchbox Sauber Racer circa 1987, 1987, 1990 on card (3 different color schemes)
Matchbox Model A Hot Rod circa 1987 on card
Matchbox Police Car circa 1983 on card
Matchbox Super Color Changer Ferrari Testarossa circa 1988 on card
Matchbox '57 T-Bird convertible circa 1983 on card
Matchbox Model A Ford circa 1980 on card
Matchbox NASA Rocket Transporter circa 1993 on card (HTF)
Matchbox Superfast Mazda RX-7 circa 1995 on card
Matchbox Buy 2/Get 1 Bonus Pack circa 1985 on card
--contains Ferrari 308, Misson Chopper, BMW Cabriolet--

Well, that sucks. Of the 8 cars I ordered from the seller on TTP, one of the cars I really wanted, black Chevelle....... seller posted a car he no longer had. Damn it. :banghead:

Swung by Target & Toys R Us, got nothing. Passed on FR-S again(don't want to get in line for just one car). Picked these up at Target.

Matchbox Super Duty's for my nephew.

No but I'm ashamed of you still.
Take off, eh?

a6-san, I might be getting "Tekkamen" soon...

:sly:

Lemme guess, you are not talking about the cartoon.

Edit: Tekkamen - I think I get it. It does look like it's wearing a iron mask.

I'll always like this the best:

Japanese Retro Entertainment. I was going to say that Tomica should do it, but I believe they already have.
