All starting at .99 cents. All of those cars I have very little to no interest in. I don't do international shipping, but I would make an exception for you & the other Canuck in here......... :P

Seriously, I've never created so many listings on eBay before. It's at 38 now, and I should have a few more tomorrow!

Lots of nice vehicles there mate:tup: but yeah postage is a bit of a killer from the states for us blokes living upside down:lol:

Jarrod, you kill me man.

Are you referring to postage from U.S. in general, or are you looking at the shipping/customs from eBay website(Global Shipping Program)? Because for somebody like you, or Jarrod, I would ship international, and just charge you the actual postage for the shipping. If that's something you'd be interested in, let me know. 👍

Thanks for the offer mate:tup: but yeah more so postage from the U.S. in general, I know when browsing eBay and seeing items from over your way postage is usually anywhere between $15-$25 for a single car (not sure how accurate the calculator is though)

Does that international shipping include someone like me A6?

What import duty? :sly:
Well, if it's going thru eBay, sellers aren't supposed to send them as "gifts". I guess for you guys, maybe I can do that. I think the worst that can happen is they get suspicious, charge you the tax.

Sold that Auto World chase car for $28. :D

Also found two Summit Camaros with door handles, and a blue BMW 2002 with white rimed MC5's at the grocery store.

Nice. Camaros with door handles seems to go for premium as well, right? Door lines, painted engines.......

Edit: My listing is up to 52. I'll be listing a few more this afternoon.

Just checked the Camaros, door handle cars only going for around $5 or less. The door line cars are around $20-30. They came down though, started around $60 when they first hit.

That's crazy. Like Jason preaches, so much of the crowd in this hobby are "must have now!", and it can cause fluctuation in value greatly. Hard to predict where particular commodity is headed sometimes......

My personal observation/example online:

*Good* Vintage Racing Bluebird/510 - Impossible to find in stores, hovered around $10, $20, initially. Now they go for $50+. Luckily, I got it for under $10.

*Bad* Super Treasure Hunt Honda S2000 - Initially, it was going for $20, or just over that. It was moving so fast, I paid the full tilt, as sort of an investment to my collection. Couple of times, I've seen it for half that, since.

*Remains to be seen* 2011 Collector Blown Delivery - I was hesitating to pull the trigger when this car went for $25. Now they are more like $35, often higher. Trend seems to indicate this car is another Bluebird, but what do I know. :ouch:

Unlike a6m5, who doesn't collect, I collect mainly to play with (though sometimes I play on other people), so the 'Collectibility Equation' that factors 'Supply Vs Demand' doesn't really effect me.
I'm really not after 'rare' cars, though a car I may like could fall into the VHTF category.
For instance there is many a Cobra or Karmann Ghia or GT-R model out there that I would like, but I'm certainly not going to pay a huge sum of money for it (better ways to get equal pleasure out of that money).

I can understand someone shelling out $200.00 for a top-of-the-line 1:18 model - there is more to owning it (pleasure of eye-balling it, fiddling with it, etc) than merely an investment.

Scalpers, Horders, Back-Pocket Pals - these guys thrive on demand.
Guess who is doing the demanding? :) And those very people are the ones who are driving the price up.

Damned if you do, damned if you don't.
It should be noted that buying stuff usually only provides temporary pleasure. 👍
What!?

The case with the TH RX7 finally landed here. Found 4 yesterday. I'll open one, trade one with Ahmed for the Fiesta TH, and customize the other two.

I also grabbed the tan Toyota truck, a red/flames 57 Chevy and a puke-green Fox Mustang. I'll go check around today in other stores to see if there's something else.

Okay, so I'm moving out in a week and ahlaf. I'm taking a few of my cars with me, but most are just going to sit around and gather dust. So, are there any UK members who want any? I can ship to outside of the UK, but it will be pricey :scared:. Also, I can only take so many cars in my luggage. If anybody is interested, feel free to PM me. Be sure to give me an idea of what you might want, so I can tell you what I have. I don't think there's anything valuable, though, just matchbox and hot wheels from the last 15 years, mostly production cars with realistic paint.

It's been a while since I've posted here...

Also word of an EF Civic Hatch.

Anybody has these?

I saw a box today going for 30 US dollars. They look really cool, especially the Nurburgring Package, and I wanted to get them but I'm almost broke after discovering the joy of importing stuff recently... :ouch:

Also saw one of this.

I have, but I decided to break off the set and get the normal and the Nurburgring Package. The rest were sold to a friend.

It was sold in major toy stores 2 years ago (thanks to our Tomica distributor, Bankee  )

30 USD is still quite reasonable for that set, as it was the SRP when it was officially sold here 2 years ago.
