I pulled out some of my Corvettes, and threw them onto my track/city construction (which is awfully scattered with dust from the construction, foamcore, sawdust, etc. and of course, as Jason points out (urgh,) lots and lots of skin cells. All my own of course since no one else ever comes into this room, if ever, rarely.
This is what I do when trying to imagine the city I'm trying to make, especially when I'm looking to proportionate all the elements. Hotwheels are compressed, slammed, smashed, and squished to fit the standard they have, and that causes havok on the cars proportions, and from there the fakeness extends to the dioramas I do.
Now why am I discussing that in here? I am going to do it there, of course, in greater detail - and you'll be looking at cars over there that are not merely dust-covered, but on fire.
What I was doing was just showing of some of my Corvette collection - seated there for a few days collecting dust as I enjoyed eyeballing them every time I came into that room. I have done a lot of construction since then, and the dust is now worse.
Thank God I own these cars.
Alright . . . we just had a big conversation about dust. So much for my sociological skills.
Oh! Look! Some exciting dust!!!
