Hey hey. I'm here now with some Jason Box pics:

1990 California Custom. Why is it special? See that black "Cal Custom" tampo on windshield? Previous one acquired had yellow text:

I got both colour versions now with those really real riders.

Funnily enough, it's not on South Texas. If someone knows, shed some light on this release. Year and series please.

2006 Ultra Hots.

2003 Fall of Fame. That paint finish is pretty.

This 1995 JC Pennys 2-Pack knocks all the loose Cobras out of the park and city. Most expensive Cobra I ever bought.





Odd find: Shelby Cobra castings only have one rivet in the back. That unknown one has a small drilled hole in the front. No piece of metal exists to have previously been a rivet. Don't know if the owner did it or it was manufactured like that. The hole ain't even centered.

I especially like the last two. Glad I have one of them, but have yet to seriously consider the gold one. Cobra is the nicest of the gold I've seen. Good job. 👍

Protectos came in. Biked home with a 12x12x15 box this time. I was clever to jab my hand in the hand-made lid the guy taped onto the box, because it made my life so much easier.

First thing I did was secure all the customs I cared for.

Next was everything else. Here's all my loose Cobras vs the Customs:

Wasn't aware but it turns out I need about 50 medium cases because of those stupid long bodies of the Thunderbird, Fury, Bonneville and Surfin' School Bus.

Where did you get those Protectos from? They would be allot better and cheaper than the Hotwheels tins im currently using.

I only now need protectos for my cards.

I run into same problems with my jammer cases. I use similar case with larger compartment with my storage:



Those compartments are also taller, so I stack standard height cars on top of one another, roof to roof!

Do the search Andy was talking about, they're cheaper. 80 for $20 USD instead of 48 for $19 USD.

Doesn't even concern me. The bigger picture is that we've secured one for ourselves already and that we will eventually get it. That's better than never. That's how I see it anyway, it's not like you're the only one who's going to miss out.

I negotiated with the guy because he kept hinting that I shouldn't hold back on how much I need. If he was going to want my money that badly, I negotiated a price of $180 for 700 small cases, 30 mediums and 10 large. Haven't found an deed for the large actually. It's way too long and the height isn't tall enough to hold a '87 Toyota Truck.

EHHHHHHH? Even you're unsure?! Damn it. Would "Limited Edition" bring anything to mind?

Only thing that really drives me nuts is that the next size up is too big! And I have nothing that can hold the tall trucks I have.

But this is a good thing though. This means that now I have size restrictions when I go shopping: "If it can't fit in the small case, don't buy it." Money-saving strategy for anti-collectors like you and I. 👍

I've seen some Datsun, but no Hondas. I wasn't sure if it's been shipped to my region at all, or if collectors are hoarding them.

Did grab a few cars this week, found they'd put a 2014 'B' case out at Coles so I was able to grab the second 2014 TH - Night Burner also Herbie, Mystery Machine, DB5, Mars Rover and a couple of others as well as another WRX

I've seen some Datsun, but no Hondas. I wasn't sure if it's been shipped to my region at all, or if collectors are hoarding them.

Mature collectors( MC drones, as i like to call them), i always see them in toys R us, completely going through everything, like a pack of rabid vultures.

But anyway, I pulled my cars out to organize em and to do more blacklisting, but before I did, I grouped the same cars together and stacked them to get a sense of how many recolours I've progressively obtained:
