What a beaut! I wish we could do a side-by-side of my Tamiya vs. Kyosho. They are both awesome, regardless.

I had to pick up my thread organizer cases from Walmart today(they are Jammer, online order), so I checked both Walmart stores in town, and they both failed to deliver. I did see this, but passed:

She's a chase model, I think it said limited to 2,500 units, but it had loose driver's seat(seen front & center). I barely wanted the car, so I passed. Box was beat up, too. WTF.

Toys R Us on the same street(all 3 stores are on the same street :odd: ), they did have the right one:

Bike sucks in this case.
Old news.
You might be second in line. :P

No "Deadly Side Press" allowed... :sly:

Also, there is a Kyosho "Beads Collection" variant of the R32. It's an entirely different mold, but detailed nonetheless.

Does mine have that huge wing? Nice side by side though. I do have to give this one to Kyosho. Better stance, especially. 👍

Opened few cars, including this Camaro I highly regard:

Hot Wheels 100% line, from the Popular Hot Rodding Series..... Really digging the Cougar.

Sweet lowered GM truck..... unfortunately painted up by a young child. lol

Ahead of Cano & Andy? No way. Fourth at best.
Top-5. Not that bad.

That Tamiya R32 is almost laughable compared to the Kyosho. The wing really kills it.

Also, that JL Camaro is amazing :0

I've got ALOT of cars to show,

Except there's no such word as "alot". :P

They look about the same.

I second everything said.

I was home today, on a TUESDAY, so I hit the Red Line Club release this morning & ordered couple of Holiday Drag Dairy. It's kind of cool, not my thing, but I ordered two, so I can scalp one of them to buy the Datsun Bluebird/510 I missed out the other time. They do cost more though. I think it was nearly $40 for two(including shipping). Just glad they sold out.

Opened more cars today. Accordingly, two Tamiyas!

R32 has smaller wings, but these cars still have tires with treads that are done too aggressively.

Edit: More cars.

Varieties as in posting an image and then deleting it versus posting an image and leaving it there?

:P
Is some of them not working? I did screw up & put it in the wrong file, but those pics show up fine on my end.

Do you see it now? I can still see it fine, but I copied & pasted it again from the new file location. Also, how about the last post with the pics? All six cars showing up on that one? Thanks!

I might go Hot Wheels hunting in a bit. If I do, I'll update this post with what I found. Likely update the post anyway even if I'm not going, so you fellow posters on this thread don't feel like I didn't go through on a promise.

EDIT: Not going HW hunting. :(

You can just create a new post to post the pictures up. Good luck, by the way. 👍
I see it now. :)

Makes me want to find more CMS and ditch 80% of my hot wheels.
Thanks Andy. 👍

I share similar sentiments. Mine's like get more upper end Hot Wheels, ditch 80% of mainlines. :D

Let's just make this the same scheme as last year, but change the tampo colors.

Come on Mattel, not so creative...

Well, as long as I can find it myself I'll happy. But now I'm forced to look at least twice at the casting, just to make sure I don't get the one from '13, which I already have.

That's not as bad as buying duplicates online. I've managed to pick up about 4 or 5 duplicates unknowingly.

Thanks Andy. 👍

That's not a good thing!

If I blacklist most of my hot wheels I'll almost be set free from this addiction. Good thing to note is that the spending has dropped a lot this month since I've had no time to go browsing. Hopefully I don't find a lot of CMS cars. I kind of also want to start customizing certain Kyosho models since they look so much more prettier than their hot wheel counterparts.

I just wait for the meets now. I was all raring to go with money to spend last week and came home with one car for $2. :dunce:

Customizing Kyosho would require balls.

Their next R34 should be a Super Treasure Hunt already. I used to think it was inevitable, but the window for that is getting smaller, while there is no real timeline for older Skylines.....

I got my Holiday Drag Dairy as well today, really curious to see what the white real riders will look like in person.

Nice, those look great. Maybe a stupid question, but what does CMS stand for?

Don't flack it up.

Same here. Been wondering ever since I saw their illustration!

I'm trying to find out, but Google hid their "advanced" search. I'm gonna go look again, you got my curiosity going also.

I checked their Japanese home page first, nothing. I couldn't find nothing on bing or google, in Japanese or English...... then it hit me, what if "CM" wasn't an acronym? I thought maybe CM were initials of the founder, their roots, etc., but I couldn't find any ties to that on Wikipedia.

CM usually means "commercials", TV advertisements in Japan, which would make no sense. Then the old Japanese brain kicked in, how about "cm", as in centimeters for miniature maker?

I have zero confirmation, but I'm gonna settle for that. :P

Well it's CM's so "CM" could very well be a subject or pronoun.

If a company or corporation doesn't have a backstory, resolve or have a mission statement, I can't bother to care more than they do.

BTW Their site's search engine is run by Yahoo Japan. Maybe that's why Google or Bing! can't find anything.

If you are talking about Hot Wheels wheels, then the CM is "Co-Molded" I know that. Any other die-cast car maker and I can't help because I do not know.
