There shouldn't be. The worse it can get is the tampo/chrome lip on the wheels coming off from rolling back and forth while rubbing the walls.... or tampos on the roof if it happens to be upside down. Unless your cases don't got smooth walls.

Maybe I'm being paranoid, but I secure the car in the compartment with either thin packing foam, or kleenex(works really well). I do sound paranoid.

I have my loose cars lying sideways in a plastic drawer, all packed together, rubbing against each other roof-to-base. That's not so bad, but then I added another "level" of cars on top of that since there was room, again lying on its side. Now there's rubbing from wheel-to-wheel. I know it leaves it vulnerable to wear, which is why I try not to open that drawer often. If I ever do, I'm opening and closing it really carefully

And it's tissue. Kleenex is the brand.

Is that thing 1/64? Looks fantastic. 👍
I would probably do that too if I used them.
Yeah, better safe than sorry. I'm gonna continue to do so, I think. 👍

Andy, you n00b! They are the aloe lotion Kleenex! They deserve to be mentioned by name.

I used to have bad pollen allergies, like from age 13 into my 20's. Blowing nose with standard tissues were brutal on my nose. I could blow my nose with these aloe lotion Kleenex all day long, and my nose will not get sore! :dopey:👍

Metal to metal scares me, but I guess it wouldn't be risky in a drawer.

Here's how my loose cars are stored:

Everything has either foam or kleenex, except some basic mainlines, also larger castings.

Nice display, but how busy that looks & style of the display just don't do it for me. When collectors make it look mad busy, but with retail display style, I think they are awesome. I'm weird.

I'll just leave this here for Wyvern, Another Real Rider Lickety Six in white has surfaced.

Been a while since the Panda last posted, but I hope he sees these so he'll about have an aneurysm.

I took one look at this posting a couple weeks ago and went into shock. Been laid up at home for the past few days after being released from the hospital.

Doctors tell me that while I was out, my hand was involuntarily tracing the letters
"C-A-N-O" , "S-C-R-E-W" and "Y-O-U" on any available surface.

I've got ALOT of cars to show, but recently I've been a lot more into my bike collection. I'm in the middle of flipping the following thrift store/goodwill/craigslist find.

mid 90s Dyno Blaze
mid 90s Dyno VFR
mid 90s Trek 1420
mid 90s Trek 1220
'88 Royce Union Savoy Mtn (Hideously awesome 80s lime green splatter paint)
