I've been after that Oregon State Crown Vic! Love the Greenlight SLS & VW Bus, too. Also been after ZAMAC Ford F-100. I think I hate you right now Dwight!

Today I was able to find two Mazda RX-7 Treasure Hunts from 2013, and one Hot Wheels High casting from 2013 also. And all three at the same store, which was one unlikely place to find a T-Hunt. Needless to say, I am a happy man! :)

Here's a question that may spark a lengthy conversation:

Do you think the C7 Corvette will see future recoloured mainlines or become a sort-of one-time thing and be done with by the next year?

An example of which is the Bentley Continental Super Sport and the SRT Viper GTS. I am longing for more Viper recolours and a whole year later, they haven't.

Well, I'm sure with the majority of the hype, they must be planning on doing several variations in the future.

I do wonder about the Bentley and Viper... Really did like the Bentley casting, but something about the Viper could have used improvement. Something about the new SRT Viper just doesn't interest me as the past generations... The C7's been stealing most of the show for me. :irked:

Regret not picking up any more models of the Bentley after I found some (the only one's I've ever seen) at a local CVS Pharmacy store... But glad I did get some from Ben. :D

Interesting car. Who makes it?

On the Corvette, I'm gonna guess that it's entirely up to whatever the Hot Wheel team has on the plate, and if the casting will make it out of the pack.

God, lucky! I got my hands on three Treasure Hunt RX-7s...... all from internet(well, one from Jason). I haven't found any THs in awhile.

It's actually made by Maisto, however, it has been switched to Bburago branding.

Here are my other variants:

The black one on the far left is a Toy Fair version, while the one from the far right is the first variant under the NFS Undercover line (and as well as being the cover car of the game). The orange one is a regular 1:64 release from Maisto. Then the yellow one is currently branded as a Bburago.

I have the same black one from a Maisto All-Stars Trailer & Car set. Another set had the orange one too.

Oh I see. I guess that means you are probably lv.3 then. Maybe 9 if you have a lot of cars.

How big is your collection?

Levels can be determined by weighing your collection not on a scale, but a single uncracked ostrich egg*. If the egg still remains standing after you let go of your collection, your level is definitely under 10.

If the egg shatters, the next step is to lay out each and every single car on your bed. Do not overlap or stack anything, even packaged items. If your collection does not cover the mattress entirely, your level is between 11 and 30, depending on how much surface area is covered.

If you covered your entirely mattress and you still have cars left over, take those remaining cars, tally it up. Take that number, multiply by 0.4, add 67, then multiply by 4.4, and round up to the next whole number. That is how you determine your level.

*You can substitute an ostrich egg with 6 chicken eggs or 4 duck eggs.
Please note this isn't actually true.

That's how the cookie crumbles.

Here's a pretty shabby model of the Hyundai Genesis Coupe. This orange version is a shafted 2012 Multi-pack exclusive little people know about.

It's not to say it's hard to find. Rather it's just been.. "forgotten".

Nope, just need a bigger frame. Won't fill that up for a while, 10 spots will take forever. In any case by the time I run out of room, I'd like to have one of those fancy displays anyway.

Looks of the display keeps improving....... Would be cooler with some Tomica Vintage in there though. :P

Please, would you look at how big that "Z" is? There is no room for Tomicas, my friend. They hath no place in thy progressing throne.

On a slightly more Zerious note, I would like to say I like that you inserted a poster into the frame. Would've been cooler if the number of rows on top and bottom were the same, but alas, it's not my frame nor Zs so I'll leave it at that.

Or the '06 Civic for that matter. Hot Wheels collectors LOVE Japanese cars and here is Mattel shelling out the same old Fords and Chevys each year.

Many collectors do, but if anything, I think Japanese castings added diversity to the hobby & demographics. That copper colored Bluebird/510 from few years ago, it played a huge role drawing me into the hobby.
