Real cars I have owned:

- '00 Nissan Sentra SE
- '98 Nissan 200SX SE-R
- '94 Nissan Sentra SE-R
- '92 Nissan Sentra SE-R

So of all the Japanese castings you've collected, you chose to keep only Nissans and Mazda, right? IIRC you've let go of Hondas and Toyotas?

Many collectors do, but if anything, I think Japanese castings added diversity to the hobby & demographics. That copper colored Bluebird/510 from few years ago, it played a huge role drawing me into the hobby.

Need for Speed Hot Pursuit initiated it for me when I made those police car liveries, but then I remember some years before the release of that game, I picked up these beautiful cars (minus the GT-R) which coincidentally were in said game, and that gave me a reason to start collecting:

One day I walked by the toy section in Walmart one day and found this NSX that got me returning to toy sections at big box stores:

I know it's a shabby NSX model, but I never expected a Japanese car (save for the GT-R) to be make into Hot Wheels let alone an Acura. I still hadn't gotten into collecting to the level I'm at now so I was ignorant to a lot of things, and that said, I was blown away like a little kid and got so absorbed into the thought. I have all the NSX models (if not almost all) now.

NFS & NSX.... how about that?

I have couple more of those thread organizer/hot wheel cases coming from Walmart(would make total of 8). I plan to pop open few cars that are absolute keepers.

Speaking of Tomica Vintage Shinji, have you seen this posted on Lamley? I think you really need to get yourself one when it's released.

I saw the preorder for it on the same site I got the Hachiroku. It's like $90, so I passed(they don't come with those passenger cars either).

Having said that, why are you so awesome, Magic? While linking preorder page for the transporter, I ran into these.

It's a loooong preorder, but I can not wait!

I found a youtube video about Tomica releases on 2014. Among those are Dream Tomicas Batmobile and the Speed Racer Mach 5.

On the regulars, Lotus Exige R-GT and the Lexus IS F Sport are interesting.

On the last page, on the list of discontinuing cars, I was hoping that was my Suzuki Swift(Jarrod also has one), but looks like this one's just plain red.

Also, the Batmobile says it's "camo", so it must be the latest Batmobile. Very cool, but I genereally pass on that one. I've been kind of wanting the black one(preferably Hot Wheels), but it always slips through.

Now that I think about it, there would've been room for more if the slot dimensions were shrunken down from 1 1/4" to 1". Could totally fit more Zs since they all are low-profile.

Woo-wee. Your collection's got beef, boy-got-beef. So much beef some cars are hanging for dear life on the edge of those shelves!

Not really considered trading, unless I really start running out of space or have to move out, I have some more cars in cases in my basement I'll try and get some pics if i can find them.

Figured the price would be somthing like that. And not that I was looking at getting one in the first place but the fact it doesn't come with those cars is a deal breaker.

Just got home from Monster Jam in Sydney. Glad to see the 2014 cars are starting to show, hopefully they turn up around here and I can pick up a couple of them.

Regret not picking up any more models of the Bentley after I found some (the only one's I've ever seen) at a local CVS
Pharmacy store... But glad I did get some from Ben.
