Oi, forget it bud. I simply cannot handle more custom projects than what I have now. With all the tires I picked up last year I now look at the pegs more for projects than for cars I'm actually missing. I also just yesterday passed on the chance of grabbing even more tires (but just because I'm poor now). It has to stop somewhere. Altough I do think it'll be a nice passtime once I'm retired and old and my sons don't want me loitering around or something.

You are hard core collector...... for life!

I have a question: I've seen a series called "Black Bandit" by Greenlight......... but today, I also spotted a Camaro of series with same name, similar card design, but by Johnny Lightning! Any of you know the story behind this by any chance?
You didn't happen to escape from the Nessy Institute did you?
That's too good.
Deal with it.
If I guess how many cars are in the picture, can I have them?

:P

Nice. 👍 I've tried getting that Super Treasure Hunt 959 in the past, but the deal fell through every single time.

Only thing I can think of is that, "Black Bandit" is some kind of trademarked party & the rights to use their name have gone from Johnny Lightning to Greenlight.

Got nothing to say for the time being.

Other than the fact I've got a badass 156:

And the 10SP variation 24/Seven:

Still need that damn Satin Green one.

Going to be photographing the Maisto planes tonight. Won't have pics up though by the end of the day methinks.

Can't wait to pick up the LaFerrari...once the C case pops up... Closest I've seen so far is a multipack with the Panamera and Civic.

Also...

Said to be a prototype with some adjustments coming soon. Entertainment series for the Need For Speed film.

Also found a multicar pack for Greenlight with TV/movie cars...

UGHHHHHHHHHH I know the folks over at HW HQ are obsessed with large rear wheels, but man does it completely ruin this casting for me. Would be superb with same-sized wheels. Even if adjustments are coming, I'll probably pass on it.

Of course it's not like I have any choice or anything since we haven't gotten a new Retro Entertainment batch in months.

Nice 156! I have the hall of fame version, absolutely love it.

My Cave is a mess - boxes upon boxes to be sorted - hundreds of cars waiting to be opened and fondled.
I know. I sound like a pervert.
Deal with it.

Hilarious, yet slightly disturbing at the same time. I wonder if Dr Nessy makes house calls?

I would probably pick it up anyways as it's a Koenigsegg. Even if it's a bit off, it's probably the only model of one I can get without having to go on the internet. But unfortunately it's the same situation here... We haven't gotten anything new in months. Most recent is the blue Italian Job Mini and 356 Daytona Spyder...

I may be reluctant to grab that Agera. It's nice to get a Konegrasegraleggera, but I'm getting the stretched bumper vibe from it. Hopefully it is so I can definitely be sure not to buy one.

Dude, I NEED that one more than any others. I should start looking for that eventually.

That's the same batch we got here. I know there at least two batches after that (white Mini and red Mini) that we haven't received. Sucks. Hopefully they even stick around once the inevitable post-holiday toy reset happens.

I think it's a great idea for a casting though, just hoping the adjustments minimize the large discrepancy in wheel size.

And yeah, about a year or so ago I just couldn't stop waiting and picked the 156 up from the bay. Looks great in person.

Same here. I forgot I was looking for one.

Also, I just ran into this on TTP for something like $100:

 I wish.......

That's one hot truck!

That Silverado's supposedly part of Series 8 from the Red Line Club(#'d to 3,000). I'd probably go $40, $60 tops. :indiff:

A few very random loose cars, you guys here would kill me if you saw how i have my loose cars together!

We won't, but Cano might. :D

As for my storage, I've been using those thread/hot wheel organizers, but cars still rattle around inside the compartments. I started filling the gap with kleenex(or 'tissue' for Andy), then moved on to strips cut from sheet of packing foam. Last I posted about this, I had just started experimenting with using the very blister/clear plastic that these hot wheels come packaged in.

I just trim the edges to fit these little compartments. They of course house the cars perfectly, because each blisters were designed specifically for the cars. I recommend you guys try this out! *every single cars in the pic are secured either by packing foam, or plastic blisters.

Yes, Shinji. We can clearly see that's a Bluebird. Thank you for labeling it.

Real planes poop all over the unlicensed ones.

Mitsubishi A6M Zero... versus the Dive Bomber:

Sad to say I thought highly of the latter until I learned of the Tailwinds.

All of my loose cars are just in a box from ikea. I was good with storage untill i started to get loads of cars. Will attempt to take picture tomorrow.

You misunderstand, goober!

Some of those cars, I have clear plastic protecting the each side of the car. I had to label that Bluebird one, because every time I remove the car from the case, there is a chance I may misplace that piece of blister, or forget which car the piece belonged to.

This one goes without saying..... you goober.

wassup guys?

finally put my hands on HW 1990 Honda Civic EF. Such an amazing casting with misplaced decos. Hard to find a decent one but i did :) Also got me some CM's for X-mas.

I guess instead of always randomly post I will post some cars I got recently after looking for them. I do need to actually get to work on my display cases and better phone place (lighting in my house sucks since it's from the 70's).

Well so much for using Flickr, some reason it won't let me link pictures. Oh well...

^That's why I use either Facebook or Blogger to upload images now. Best part about Blogger is that I can adjust the size of the image with the image URL alone. That's better than imageshack or photobucket.
