Yeah, it's one of those cars that I'll have to find in a forgotten fleamarket off someone who doesn't know what it is, like several other mexican cars. At leasy I have that remote chance, but you're pretty screwed. I promise if I ever find it twice I'll send you the extra.

Yeah. The tabs atop just seem redundant now. :S
Not really. You can still use them if you are on one of the pages without having to return to the home page.

Edit: Apparently the RLC BRE Datsun 510's are shipping. Wonder if BRE got theirs early and will ship them out at the same time, or if we have to wait an extra week or two.

Yes, but then the home page content becomes redundant. Get what I'm saying?

It's redundant when you see the big picture, but it's better than having nothing for now. :indiff: That's why I was hinting a suggestion to do something more than that.

I don't think so, if I am on a certain page and just want to skip to another I can use the tabs instead of going back to the home page. Either way, you're clicking your mouse the same number of times so it doesn't matter. ;)

Well if you want to get down to a nitty-gritty level, sure, it's not a huge difference, but I did say big picture. You'll come up with something cool for a home page in the future.

I just photographed all the unwanted car bodies I have weighing down a bin. Might consider throwing them up and about.

I'm more broke than ever because I'm returning this next sunday to pick up the rest of the Lesney collection I left behind. It'll make sense when I post the stuff. Today, maybe.

I just wanted to see what was in there. There's a lot of tempting stuff.

Did you get your box from that giveaway yet?
That reminds me, did you get that box I sent too Cano?

Also:

No, I didn't get that box you sent to Cano.

@Cano, please make sure you don't confuse the wording of his post.

@R1600Turbo, all the pegs here havee been emptied so there's like no chance of me finding anything you've been asking me to keep an eye out for. Shall we proceed with the trade?

Pegs are the same around here, the usual calm after the storm (Christmas). I'll get back to you tonight.

Getting sick of deadbeat bidders. Now I've had 2 in less than a month. They have until friday then I am giving negative feedback. Accidentally left positive feedback on the last one, won't make that mistake again.

My lots can't even sell because everybody who wins the auctions go "oh dang the shipping's more expensive than I thought!"

Then they don't understand the rules of eBay. When you bid on an item, you are obligated to pay for that item. That is your commit to purchase. If you skip out, you get negative feedback. Just how it works.

Sellers can't leave negative feedback anymore, can they?

I haven't even given them any thought, because you will be disappointed with Mattel. On top of that, I have absolutely no clue as to what kind of time frame we are looking at with BRE. That Drag Bus delay was something else though. U-N-R-E-A-L.

Have you tried refining the setting on blocking bidders? I've always blocked bidders with history of non-payment, or negative-ish feedback from bidding, but there was one creative one that actually went through the trouble of creating a dummy account, outbid her own bid to get out of it & left me hanging. I really hope she got hit by a bus(just kidding..... or not), but since then, I've blocked bidders who does not have PayPal account linked to the eBay account.

Doing business with flaky people's just frustrating anyway. Block block block.
So he can "screw me"? Well "screw him". Unlike him, I actually have one. ;)
No, he's a Convention Car hater.

Nice Fiat. And did my phone seriously autocorrect Fiat to Foust!?

Anyway, you fellow collectors may remember my pic of all my HWs on the wall. The wall is now updated. Just in basic cars, this isn't even half of my collection.
IMG_20140108_184424_368~2.jpg

Picture taken with flash on. One car from 1991, one from 1994, two from 1995 and varying numbers 1996 to 2009. This time next year, the 2010 cars will be up.

EDIT: I just noticed the huge full size image. That will be corrected.

How can I be frustrated with Mattel when they are confirmed to be shipping? I'm just curious if BRE got theirs early and can ship at the same time, or if we have to wait for them to receive the cars like everyone else, plus their processing time.

I realize that. My point is that, I personally don't count on them staying on schedule. For obvious reasons. "They'll get here when they get here", that's my take on these cars!

Don't get me started on this....

Boo-yeah. All the thumbnails are uploaded. Now I just need to create the pages, links and whatever else I forget.

I've read before that, if you never sold before on TTP, they'll give you $5 listing credit? I just got my free credit. Looking forward to testing them out in the near-future.

Edit: We were talking about a TTP seller ditching PayPal about a week ago..... Last night, I finally find couple of HW Vintage Racing Camaro's I've been after for a reasonable price, wondering how it was still on the market for the price...... I pulled the trigger on it tonight, then instead of PayPal checkout page, I'm taken to TTP homepage. :odd:

You guessed it. I just had to write a check, which I'm mailing tomorrow. This sucks. :(

Edit2: Typical. I just discovered that I don't have any stamps!

The latest from the Kyosho Minicar Collection:

lineup-box.jpg

Basically just the previous batch, this time in different colors. To be released on February 4 in Japan.

Meh. The 599XX is where its at.

I just finished a single casting page, and this is what it looks like:

http://athobbies.blogspot.ca/2014/01/24-ours.html

Very similar to what Jason has, minus all the small detail-none of which is important (for me) that the notes can't take care of. Certainly not as busy-looking, but also lacking content. Will be made up for with links where appropriate.

Oh oh oh. The magnets arrived which means the plane frame could be completed:

The negative space is a bit larger than I anticipated/calculated.

You can read the unfulfilling story via Epic Collage.
