I think allot of your cars have made their way to my house.
Honestly surprised a6 has anything left.
:P

I've been accumulating premium loose cars, but I'm gonna ditch the carded mainlines man. I wish Ben was domestic shipping, because it'll be like hundred or two hundred carded cars. I'm gonna try Craigslist first. International shipping would be insane.
That Silverado does look rather nice. Once I get around to online buying again, I'll definitely keep an eye out. Would go great with the Hot Ones version. 👍
Damn it all. I tried to pick up the RLC Silverado at the post office, but 1) They didn't even have the slip in my box letting me know the package was ready for pick up. 2) due to the holiday closure, they had one of the longest lines I've ever seen in that post office, and if you've seen American post office last few years, you know that these lines rivals that of midnight release of the hottest games, or that line from Star Wars: Episode I(there were no line for Episode II lol).
Called BRE again, cars are on their way to them right now then they have to take them to LA to get them signed, so she said early February shipment. :indiff:
What did I tell ya? If they(both HW & BRE) were so prompt with this, now that would've been a (pleasant)surprise. :D
Anyone else find a hot wheels cool classics Shelby Daytona coupe? Found one at ToysRUs today. Found some old cars at my grandmas house including some surprises.
From time to time.
Anyone in for some Retro Entertainment James Bond?

Or how about some Karate Kid? (I need this)
Not bad..... Probably still pass, but Karate Kid one does have warm presence to it with the pale yellow color. Maybe.

On a side note, I looked on eBay for sold listings with both signatures. Only 2 sold so far, one for $163 and the other for $200.

Also, stopped at Walmart because they are getting E-case shippers (keep an eye out the next few days...) and they didn't get theirs yet, but stopped at the local grocery store and they put out a few D-case cars. Picked up the only RX-7 on the pegs, and it just happened to have a roll cage in it. 👍 F45 on the base, which confuses me as I have one on a card still with F44 on the base and no roll cage. :odd:

On the roll cage, they are just randomly putting them in due to whatever reason(s), right? I know you are trying to find a pattern here, but it may be something as random as they messed up bunch of roll cages in middle of production, or vendor delivered wrong color cages, etc., etc. *shrug*

By the way, any "must have" cars in the E-Case?

That is the most messed up double post I've ever seen, Gotbeefboy. Madskillz!

I was just kidding before, I know nothing about those cars. I'd wait for Cano. He's old school & so cool. 👍

LOL tried to respond but quoted myself by mistake, was using my iphone.
Hears the bottom of the RX500.

Picture wouldn't rotate for me.

Usually you find the car with the cage before the change, then no cage after. Not all mixed up like this one. I would have figured the roll cage would be up to F42-43, then no roll cage from there up. The loose car I have with the cage is F40, then the car I have on a card still without a cage is F44. Now back again with the cage at F45. Just weird.

E-case, not sure. I know that new white Cougar is in there so that's the only thing on my radar.

That Cougar was nice, but not enough to drive out to nearest Walmart(still far), though they may have some cool M2, or Retro Entertainment stuff. Have you heard anything new about JL? They are done, aren't they? I don't think Walmart even carry them anymore?

P.S. Only logical answer on that roll cage now is that they are messing with you variation/error collectors.

@Gotbeefboy564 Your photographic evidence is blurry! Just like all the Bigfoot & UFO photos!

I know blame bad lighting.

Not sure, but I keep seeing the Auto World GT40's and wondering why you haven't purchased one yet. :P

Speaking of hitting walmarts, plan this weekend is to nail all 10 or 12 of them on this side of town. :D

I've seen a hundred Auto World cars, not one GT40. :( I've had bigger fishes to fry, I'll purchase one online soon enough..... I want it.

Sounds like fun, but I don't miss the hunt...... It's so much easier to just pay the premium & shipping. :P

@Gotbeefboy564 I can make out most of it, but you'll still have to wait for Cano. I think he's the only one of the regulars who is knowledgeable on classic Matchbox cars.

Edit: I never planned to buy this car, but this was too good to pass up. For the price. I'll gladly add it to my collection(four before this one).

That's part of the collecting experience, the hunt. No fun without it. Worst part is dealing with the public.

I don't know if I ever had any episode. People were generally very nice. Toy aisles though, I have fantasized smacking around few of the loud kids, apparently raised by monkeys.

@Gotbeefboy564 great bunch. Yeah any Matchbox of the Superfast era made in Hong Kong is not common, they're way more common if made in England. However the real stars are the Regular wheels Lesneys. Awesome cars! Those are true relics. Did you keep them or are they still in your grandma's house?

You both suck because you're missing out walking hours in middle-of-nowhere flea markets discovering epic bargains. THAT is the true hunt. Supermarkets, pffffffff

Only cars you'll find at my local flea market are scalpers selling stuff for 4x what it's worth.

Come on dude, there has to be at least onee guy selling old cars. That, or you're simply going to the wrong fleamarkets, which also happens. There is a very high-end fleamarket here (I love the irony of dat) that's famous because if it's inflated prices. I haven't been there in years, yet still have managed to find great stuff in other flea markets.

BUT THE CASE OCCUPIES SOOOO MUCH SPACE!!!!!!!!

desperate much? come on, shoot a price so I can say I can't afford them now

There is 1 out in my area, I think that last time I was there it was one guy with insane prices. The other one is in downtown phoenix and I haven't been there in years. Besides, old cars are just not my thing. It's not like new mainlines break the bank anyway for $1.
