Excellent to know. I thought all the weirdness had to add up to some rarity!

Actually, you'd be surprised at the value of your car. In suich a shape I'd say it's an easy 50 bucks. If you want to get an interior for it, go find one of theseon E-bay for cheap:

It's a mid-2000s release, and uses the same chassis and interior as your car. You can find it for cheap and you'll not cannibalize a valuable car for an interior.

Thanks for the info 👍

Have any of you got one of these:

Not sure how hard these are to come by.

Just checking ;)
Don't see many in the UK, and I was lucky to grab mine out of a 10p bag of plastic crap!

Nice going Andy. 👍

Just came in here to report that 442is4me listed bunch of cars on TTP tonight(yes, I bought a few). I'm a repeat customer, which means he has good shipping policy, at least on loose cars. If you like premium hot wheels, especially muscle cars, like me, definitely check his listings out for some deals!

Ferrari The Ferrari

This is immediately added to my favorite Hot Wheels castings, and they are quite a few of them... :D

I wouldn't mind getting another variant, just as long as it's not laden with a bunch of errors.
All we need now is a 1:64 Finnish F1 driver and a 1:64 test track and we can have 1:64 spins!

Boo US Only.... :P

I have a SLR McLaren Siku I took out of the collection. Like most scale models bigger than 1:64s, they lack the feel of rigidity by how light it is. Mostly my beef with it is that I can't store it in those plastic cases because they're too big.

I do have an extra green SLR McLaren Siku for trade if anyone wants it. Yup it's still in its blister.

I've poked around but can't find the info I need so sorry for the lame question but is The Homer a worldwide release that would be reasonably common here in Australia or am I going to have to get one off eBay?

I don't know myself, but I'd try to get as many as you can and keep them carded. Not only are they going to be popular which will make then hard to find, they might also carry a high value.

I've been had!!!

I saw this car on TTP:

I very rarely buy a car I don't know anything about + it just said "Custom Coupe", but I had to have it. It's only $5.95(includes shipping), and I liked the paint job, flame job, tan top, white walls........

Last time I bought something I didn't know anything about, I bought a Kenmeri Skyline with a poor dye job(thinking it was possibly a variation). Let this be another lesson. Here's the closer look at the car.

When I saw the screws, I cared very little. It may be "custom", but it still have all the features I liked so much, then I noticed the horrible flame "sticker" job. Paint job on the a-pillar's also suspect. Should I remove the flame sticker? I'm thinking so. Maybe I'm being punished for making fun of that "custom" Datsun 510 on eBay couple weeks back.

Boo US Only.... :P
This happens way too often....
Is there anyone you don't hate
It's a ongoing joke in this thread...... hate friggin noobs. <<<also j/k

Almost every mainline release available here, it seems that our Australian members have a shot at finding in their local stores. 'Homer' so far is a coveted car, so I expect it to be quite rare for next few weeks, even in the U.S.

My advice, look around for next few weeks. If you don't see one, hit eBay or TTP. Good luck!
