Only plastic wheeled cars I really like. Well, some of them. :D I'd like to get their JDM cars someday, but they are spendy, even by their standard. :crazy:

Hey guys, new member here! Just curious,does anyone here still has a passion for AcceleRacers?

I've collected these for quite a while, and I got to say those are some nifty cars. It's a shame they are pretty costly.

It's been nearly 10 years since the show died, and I was wondering how many fans were still out there.

That's quite the collection. 👍

Thank you sir!

When it comes to Acceleracers, you either collect all of them, or you don't collect any at all.

I've bought about 2 or 3 loose.

Only to take its wheels.

AcceleRacers are going extinct, and THIS is how you treat them? :(

Ehh, your money, your rules.

I'd just wish people would dice up Speed Machines for a change.

Please let me know what you've done with the remaining parts of the 2 or 3 and I'll be sure to give them either a revival or a proper funeral XD

There's currently a fan effort to make the 5th movie, and only one remaining forum pertaining to AcceleRacers. The forum itself is slowly becoming extinct.

What do you guys think about this? Will AcceleRacers's legacy finally be extinguished?

I've not been a particular fan of the show, but I believe I my have a few from that bunch. That's a really super collection - well put-together. You got them loose and in packages, too. Surely worth a lot.
Is this your primary collection? Do you collect anything else?

Welcome to GTPlanet, and a very warm welcome to the discussion; a guy who has a collection like that must definitely have a passion for Hotwheels the way we do. :D

I had never seen them, or heard of them. It is a impressive collection though. 👍

I bought this, wasn't that impressed, but I couldn't get my money back on it, so I decided to just keep it.

Also bought these:

Hot Wheels Super Street Magazine 100% Honda Civic + Ford Focus

Hot Wheels 100% '84 Corvette

Hot Wheels Heavy Chevy

Hey, thanks for the welcome photonrider!

AcceleRacers is my main drive, but not my only one. I own 100 Hot Wheels cars that are cars in real life, such as Ferrari, Lamborghini, etc.

From what I've seen, AcceleRacers is a demographic win. Pretty much anyone can appreciate this show, car enthusiast or not.

Ever since I reconnected with collecting AcceleRacers, I've decided to boycott Mattel until AcceleRacers 5 meets fruition.

AcceleRacers was released in many forms of merchandise. I spend most of my free time working to document these things to be added onto Accelepedia, the last hub of AcceleRacers info as well as last AR forum in existence.

Over the years, I've formed really strong friendships and alliances with fellow AcceleRacers collectors and fans from Ebay. AcceleRacers is like a flag everyone can unite under.

I'm doing everything in my power to remind people of this great series, and the hopes that Mattel will come back one day to end the cliffhanger. I do have 100% faith in the fan project though.

@a6m5
The van - eh, nice wheels though.
Civic - Not bad for what it is.
Focus - Average casting and woeful wheels.
100% 'vette - :drool::drool:
Heavy chevy -Not bad, nice shade of blue.

Who knows, maybe that van can be dissected and those Real Riders put to good use (:

:grumpy:

It really is. 👍 What series is that from?

2012 NHRA - something like this: http://www.collectablescorner1.com/servlet/the-3795/Hot-Wheels-2012-NHRA/Detail

@a6m5 - That 100% Chevy is killer. How much. Oh . . . I'm irked. :irked:

And after the good news about the Fiat. :grumpy:

@Elton Lin Welcome to the thread, but ask me nothing. I know nothing(at least nothing about linking in signature).

My take:

Dodge Van - Same

Civic - I wanted "one" ricer Civic. Plastic headlights & taillights were surprise. 👍

Focus - I wanted "one" ricer Focus. I think the casting is above average at best. Wheels.... yeah. :D

100% Corvette - It is a pitiful casting. They look so much nicer in the blister, but it's not that impressive.

Heavy Chevy - It's OK, but yes, the blue. I had to have the blue!

Nice cars @a6m5. The Camaro is my favorite. (Even though it is a horrible casting).
Heavy Chevy casting is a tricky one, I'm not a fan. Paint job sold me this car.

$8(shipped) It's worth about $3, but one of our very first toys purchased in this country was a Corvette just like it, so I pulled the trigger on it. :crazy:

@yabiggoose

@a6m5

Thanks for the welcome as well!

Here's another oddball line I collect. Unfortunately, one car fell out and disappeared meanwhile I was dusting this. Luckily, that car is rather easy to replace.

This series, Highway 35 World Race, was the prequel to AcceleRacers. I think more people would remember this as opposed to AcceleRacers.

Found some of my real cars as well. Will have to search later on for the rest.

Meanwhile SOMEONE *cough cough @AOS- * happily dissects AcceleRacers, I plastic wrap them. Got to keep em safe you know XD

$8.00 is not too bad a price. Nice car - I would open it.

I have a couple of those Highway 35s. Really great wheels on them. Very fast cars.
