I've missed out on this one more than once, too, on eBay. Beautiful Datsun you got there, Daniel. 👍👍
I only have have one tomica limited vintage neo. Whereas you guys have many cool and rare ones.:cheers:
I wish I had the rare ones. They truly are rare(rarely comes up on eBay), and they are unbelievably expensive.
Yeah well, guess who has both Bluebirds on order now. :P Couldn't help myself, it's so cheap. And I guess I can combine the orders and save a bit on shipping, right? After the Isuzu comes in September that may be my last from AmiAmi for a little while. Not too much there that peaks my interest at the moment, until those damn Toyota Townace's become available that is.
I'll be after those vans, too. Last couple of months, I've been buying tons(you may have noticed :P), focusing on their backorders. They are all old cars, and I think their prices are headed up & availability down. I'm not buying to invest, but I want to get them before they get beyond my reach. :D

Tonight, I did buy three discontinued TLVs from Japan Booster on eBay: This, this & this.

I was originally gonna buy just that yellow Toshiba truck(first one), but the seller was Daboxtoys, so I got scared & kept looking. I ended up shelling too much money, but I can't get enough of these TLVs right now!

Most distinctive difference is the use of red in place of yellow:

AOS whenever he posted it

I don't know if you used the links we posted on Lamley to Japan Booster, but if you did thanks. The reason why is the more traffic we generate to them from Lamley, the more I can convince them to get the rare stuff and make it available to our readers. What rare models are you after?

Really trying to generate more interest in TLV here in the States, and Japan Booster is the best way to get all new and old outside of amiami. Free shipping too.

I think the IDx and BMW's are going to bring more to the fold. We just posted the BMW's. Amazing as always:

Ooh those BMW look good.

@Daniel008 - Very cool, dude. Skylines?

Absolutely beautiful. 👍

Sorry, I didn't even realize about using the link. I'll make sure to do that next time. 👍 As for the rare model, only two I've been after are the: 1) Hino Buses, either Tokyu or Keio(h) paint job. I have seen Japan Booster post the Tokyu for $80(believe it or not, decent price ), but it had beige bumpers instead of gray, so I passed. Not sure why they came with two finishes. 2) Red CR-X(early). Once in awhile, they pop up on eBay, but I'm not ready to shell out that much dough yet.

Those two are my favorite TLV sellers. 👍 Close 1 & 2, and Playmoya at #3. Major disappointment has been Hobby Link Japan. Where AmiAmi understands what "backorder" means, HLJ doesn't seem to. AmiAmi, I must had ten backorders come thru for me, at 100% success rate. Very admirable. HLJ is 0 for 2, weeks wasted holding off buying said cars from other sources. *shrug*

I totally agree on the Bimmer. Came so close to ordering the red one last night. I will have to get one in the near future. :D
TLV needs an early 80's RX-7. Maybe even an FC of sorts.

That is all.
TLV need EVERYTHING. They sure charge you for them, but they do these cars right. Where their artistic impression & realistic accuracy meets, it reeeeaaaaallly hits the spot for me. 👍

Again awesome. And great to see more TLV's being featured on the blog. 👍

I have noticed. And you totally need to order that other Bluebird by the way, imagine who cool it would look sitting in your Shell Gas station. :embarrassed:

That Mazda is cool, nice colour too. I approve. 👍

Two doors is technically a coupe. :P
First of all, I don't even know what that first thing is. If it were up to me, I'd call that retarded sedacoupe hatch.

Second one, the van....... That ain't no van, but we all know that Japanese can be little off. Maybe it was early stage of Engrish!

First of all, I don't even know what that first thing is.

Is it a Wagon, a Coupe or a Van? I'm very confused. It is awesome though I know that much.

Edit: Have I mentioned that the Bellet has been shipped? :D

Awesome bodystyle it is.

Mine hasn't shipped yet...... They are still trying to find a shipping box big enough fit so much awesome in it.

:P

Looks like you gonna beat me to it again Jarrod! :D

^ All the more reason to lower one, make a street car of some kind.

I still like the 2011 Hakosaku more. Had that Kenmeri been a green rather than turquoise however, that would've been a different story. Why is it green in the card and turquoise in the model. It's not just me, right?

Same wheels they put on the red Civic would've worked better with the M3 IMO. @AOS- I think it's the lighting on the paint job.
Yeah it really did. Only ever saw the previous mainline Kenmeri once. Hope I have better luck with this one.
That was a good one, too.

I sure hope that's the case, because that's a skyline I'm very much looking forward to finding in stores. That's something that hasn't happened since 2012 when I kept finding the 2011 Hakosakus.

Andy may have been playing with the name. "Saku" actually was a tail end of names in Japan back when(before modern times lol).

That might actually be the second Bone Shaker I ever pick up for my collection. Will deffo have one for customizing so can take away that stupid skull.
