Will deffo have one for customizing so can take away that stupid skull.

I had thought of doing that with one of mine, but I know this idea's already been done. I don't even care about the Bone Shaker anymore. I shake my head at it now.

edit: oh hey new page!

That's what it looked like before it turned beastly gray.

And no, I'm probably never going to get the silver unless dabox for some unknown reason gets a shipment of it. It's highly unlikely, I'll forver have an incomplete collection, but oh-freaking-well, my gun metal SL will blow that silver one out of the ocean. :mischievous:

Of course it's been done already, the skull sucks. I can't believe how many people like it.

Mainstream hot rod fanatics are crazy about Hot Wheels. They're the guys who always customize the same 10 castings and put torq thrusts on literally anything they mod.

Ah, don't get me started on the Torq Trust thing. I love how people put them on Lamborghinis, Golfs and Skylines. At least the hotrod/muscle car guys put them in cars where they can belong.

That's true, but even so, they've become such an overused choice for customs I can't be bothered to use them that often. Of the 6 recent cars I put together that are - at least - suitable for torq thrusts, I only put them on 2. Gotta do something different from what everyone is; make your custom stand out from the rest; make it memorable.

Yup. That's why the Cougar I posted in the Customs thread used those other wheels 👍

For those you curious about the Kenmeri, a little preview before I post it on Lamley this week:

The color is more green than teal, and looks really good. I will do some comparison pics with the Kyosho Beads version. This is really a great model. The BMW? I am happy it was done. I will save the rest of the comments for the post.

The Kyosho one was more green. Or the real car anyway... or maybe I'm having my photographic disillusions again.

But you know I looooove my British Racing Green. I even capitalized each word. It would've been serious money if that was green with the bronze MC5... or gray MC5s for that matter.

I spent $65 on Greenlight today(TTP), but some of those cars, I've been after for very long time. There is one certain camper both the seller & TTP website says I did get, but I am still skeptical, and the car is worth $40, at least.

If it shows up with the rest of my cars, I'm doing happy dance..... but I still suspect it was some kind of technical glitch with the website. :nervous:

Who doesn't!? 👍
I don't see the problem.
Because you are upside down, too!

I know it's rhetorical, but people who "go black and never go back" don't like green. You know... those "it's gotta be black... or white. But red- oh goddamn red, yes please. Forget greens, blues and purples. Purple cars? What are you, gay? " kind-of- people.

The tasteless people, I conceitedly call them. :P Black is nice. White is nice. Colour looks so much lasting than either or if done right.

That's a pretty rad camper, it would look a lot better in my opinion without all the flower power stuff all over it though. But hey for that price and if it's really worth what you say it is, real great score there a6. 👍

Also got this & this, but the Dodge will be huge...... I'll believe I got it when it actually shows up. Flowers & hippie stuff on it is what makes it collectible. :D

Gays had no right to take purple(love purple). Also rainbows. Just thinking about it almost make me want to oppose Gay Marriage. :P

Edit: Somebody needs to grab this truck:
