My wallet. It talks to me.
Bills are talking to you. Bills inside your wallet. "Cano, let me out. I wanna go!" :D
Honestly as much as I like the Skyline, going of off your picture, the Bluebird looks the cooler of the two. You totally need to get those first. :D
Skyline's still the 🤬

Too many cars I want!!!!
IMHO, I think Mattel should let Matchbox do this.

I'll be honest, I am not too fond of HW, with all those cartoonish wheels on real-life cars (I only collect real-life cars), and I think Hot Wheels is better off doing fantasy cars since they are playthings, and let Matchbox focus on the collector market, by making properly proportioned cars with adequately-sized tires.

Just my opinion.
I do agree to a point. I think Hot Wheels are fine. Just keep what they are doing. Matchbox, why did they stop making cool cars? Matchbox from just few years ago's the bomb! I would love to see the new Mustang by Matchbox also. Totally. They also need to do Skylines, FR-S/BRZ/86(Cano nods in agreement), etc., etc., etc.

Thank you, Andou!

Mainly, I know of three Bluebirds(you already mentioned), two Skylines(early/late '83). I want to say that there is a variant of "late" '83 Skyline, but I still am not sure. I want them all!!!!!

They are cool in the pics, but even better in real life. Epic cool in such a tiny package. đź‘Ť

I am ĂśBER jealous of your New Years Tomica. :( Westerners(:sly:) around these parts won't get it, but man, Tomica did such a neat job of applying traditional Japanese New Years on those cars. I've seen one, single car from the set on eBay, but I didn't realize a whole set of them existed. I especially love the "shishimai" vehicle. @Spacegoat Can you spot the Suzuki Swift in that set Daniel posted? :D

That shot with a Civilian bus on top of the Tokyu(Hino) bus is so awesome. Reminded me of the Space Shuttle on the back of the 747 thing.

Lol while I am super jealous of your GreenLight, Johnning lightning, kmart specials and cheap Hotwheels!:drool::drool: etc

@jtl46 - Remember me telling you about the variant of the late '83 Skyline Super Silhouette I thought I saw? I think I just ran into it few days ago.

I wish I jumped on that, but you can't win 'em all.

If Japan allowed firearms, I think I'd move back right about now(I love guns lol). Hot Wheels & stuff's cool, but Tomica cars have my full attention now anyway. :D

What is it with me and deadbeat bidders on eBay? Long story short I acquired some Hot Wheels from my Dad after he up and left our family and moved to Colorado. I had given him a bunch of cars including a $uper '07 Mustang. I brought them home and put the Mustang on eBay for sale at $20 or best offer. Someone offered $17 (among a few other, lower offers) and the auction ended on Sunday night. No payment, no message response from the buyer. Just sent him a message, if I don't see payment by 4:00 tomorrow I am leaving negative feedback and giving it to the next offer.

The only firearms they have is Airsoft i.e. Tokyo Marui...lolx

These are the three Silhouettes I have (sorry Cano):

The Skyline is the later version, but I have the early version coming, along with the Autobac. That should be all of them. I am hoping they are waiting for me when I return home from this latest business trip...

These Coke series cars have damn badass wheels! I think I need to get hold of them soon... hahaha going real broke...

Sorry to hear about your dad.

As for eBay, did you have "payment due by" thing noted in the auction? I think eBay encourage sellers giving buyers a week or so to pay? While I have never read that anywhere, I want to say that's how long you have to give it before you file non-paying bidder alert.

Unfortunately, they took away the ability to handout negative feedback from us sellers long time ago. In the way, it eliminated the payback/revenge negative feedback, so it wasn't a bad thing.

In my auctions, I just note "payment expected in five days". While last second snipers taking couple of days to pay do annoy me(WTF), I rarely have non-pay bidder issues. When it does happen, I do turn them in!

I started early. I've been a gun nut since I was a toddler. By the time I left Japan, I had owned quite a few airsoft guns, too. :D

I love them, but I do wish the gold BBS wheels looked little more realistic(smaller ones).

I've looked at that taxi more than once. Those Tomica Limited taxis are the very reason why I bought a couple in the Vintage line, but even those Vintage taxis don't look as good as that one. đź‘Ť

Good thing I don't fancy the buses. And hopefully I never will.
Blasphemy. Come on man.

The buses are cool but pricey ...:drool::drool:

Now my wallet and everyone is talking to me. All the cars posted in the thread lately have been TLVs. And all of them are awesome. Money? Zero. I owe Ahmed about 180 bucks worth of Kyoshos. So yeah, it's not like I'm dry of stuff, but still... damn.

The buses. The Skyline. The Bellet.

By golly I think you are right. I never noticed the difference in the wheels. So there are three Bluebirds and three Skylines. Japan Booster told me they are sending me the early and late Skylines, so maybe they will be the two I don't have. Hopefully I will know tomorrow...

Exactly why I have one. Just one. I do hope to own one Tokyu bus in the near future(silver hino), and I also wish for beige/red Hino(Keioh line), but I've seen this one for sale once. Just once. It was used(very minor scratch), and it was on the Japanese Amazon. I tried to order it, then realized they didn't ship international. Laugh it up, Andy.

Best of luck receiving the late '83 with the black wheels. đź‘Ť

There's been a spike in expensive car posts.

Time to kick it back. I'll start with some cheap champs. Here are the '98 Nascar Legends:

Awesome Daytonas! Hotwheels?

I was expecting someone wouldn't be willing to go past $70. The last one I bidded on ended around $40. Too bad though, that guy was hungrier than I was. Oh well. Next time though.

Uh, I would check Japan Booster. He told me he is putting up a ton of buses today, including some Civilians and others. The one you want just went up 5 minutes ago. Here is a link for you:

@Daniel008 Yet, another car I used to want real bad. It kind of took back seat to the 1/64 buses(bu$e$?)I'm after now, but it still looks so frigging awesome. :drool:đź‘Ť

@Gotbeefboy564 I'd have given you a "like" if you cut that sucker open, then post a selfie of yourself holding a Super Treasure Hunt...... What the hell, I'll give you a "like" anyway. :P

@Johnny1996 Love the Mooneyes & that sport wagon looking TH(forget the name).

I knew I should've just stayed up the extra 19 minutes. Bet I could've sniped the bastard.
I could've bought it.. 100$ for a '60s vehicle is indeed pretty affordable. :banghead:

Ooh, didn't notice the Nissan decals at first. Those are damn sweet.
Little things like that go a long way sometimes. :D

That was flipping money! đź‘Ťđź‘Ť I browsed in here from my phone during some downtime this morning when I saw your post. I can't move fast enough from my piece of crap phone, so I get on the work computer to grab it at a lightning speed.

I apologize I couldn't go thru the Lamley link like I usually do(web's filtered heavily), but I really appreciate the tip. I'm so glad it was still there!

My most expensive hot wheels/minicar title now goes to this bus($95):

To get the free shipping, I added this little police car I've been eyeing from Japan Booster's eBay inventory:

I just bought the plain blue one recently(love that, too). Mazda Familia, which I assume is the original Mazda 323/Protege/3.

I also just happened to have spent the most money for a baseball cap on eBay($55), but I don't care. Sometimes, you gotta pay for the good stuff. :D

P.S. I recommend anyone from here to check out his Tomica Limited Vintage inventory on eBay. His seller name on eBay is crosssea222. I usually just google "lamley japan booster", then ride the Japan Booster link from there. If you are buying, his pricing is some of the lowest online + have really cool old, hard to find inventory that's updated routinely. If you are not buying, just enjoy his blog-quality photography of these cars from all angles(except top & bottom lol). It's fun even just to window shop!
