Truth hurts, no? If you can stop telling me to stop doing it, that would be fantastic.

Correcting your own habits is your own battle. I just feel that you aren't acknowledging it. If you are truly doing your best to fix that, I wouldn't be saying a thing.

Nothing to acknowledge. Ask my friends and family, I have a "I don't give a 🤬 what you think" attitude, and I honestly don't care what people think of me. So until you can acknowledge that I'm not going to change for you, then maybe you should just ignore me.

Second, I also have the BMW 325i.

Ah curse you. 👍 I missed them when they were released first time around, didn't realise they'd be so popular. :indiff: Hopefully they redo that casting sometime in the future.

Dudes let's just agree to disagree. This isn't a field of battle, it's a tiny toy car display page. Neither one is going to give so just drop it. End of story.

You choose to shove your beliefs in everyone's face without a shred of respect for what other people think and expect people to respect yours. I'm not trying to be the dictator here, but I honestly don't think you have a valid "right" to deny others if that's the case.

You can continue shielding yourself behind your "opinions" and "IDGAF I don't have to listen to you" front, but that's not how things works, and that's not a good way to solve problems either. I'm saying all this because I'd like to see you become a better person. I understand that you may have had it rough, but that doesn't mean it's impossible to continue striving for a more positive outlook on life.

Despite your views about me, I have a perfectly positive outlook on life. I have a great job, I live on my own and fend for myself just fine despite my over enthusiastic hobby purchases. I'm not shielding myself behind my opinions, because guess what? It's an opinion and I'm pretty sure I'm free to express it however I damn well please. (obviously within the guidelines of this forum) And my expressed opinion about what the $uper guy did was well within those rules and it by NO means was shoving a "belief" in anyone's face. Just like you guys have the right to say you don't have a problem with it, I have just as much right to say I do. I already explained myself in that regard, and there really is no reason to carry on with it. I really shouldn't have to explain myself any further.

Listen dude, you were surely on my your last leg with me and this will be the end of it. Don't reply to any of my messages, don't send me any messages, don't even read my posts. Just skim on past them because from here on out I am 100% done with you.

^^^ This is me becoming a "better person", by pushing people out of my life that think they can tell me that my opinions are wrong. Because as I said earlier, I really don't give a you know what.

Does anyone know the average price of a TLV in Japan? I assume they are cheaper there, but not sure how much cheaper. The guy I work with is off to Japan on Sunday and I was only going to give him $40 to bring back some cars.

$40 will buy you 3 of the cheaper cars at most, and you may end up owing the guy money. Do the right thing and give him $150. Been there done that.

Yeah that's not gonna happen. So they really are not any cheaper than what they sell for on eBay...

They can be, depending on where you buy them. TLVs over there are like souvenirs. When Ahmed was there it was like "yeah we went to this temple and in the souvenir store I bought your kokeshi dolls, a doraemon key holder, some stuff for my mom, and 6 TLVs". And it was like that everywhere, convenience stores, grocery stores, drug stores carry them, and of course hobby shops. Yet on the used stuff stores he also grabbed some at considerably lower prices, but he was like a vacuum with those things, and you're very picky with them, so if you asked your friend for specific models he might have to look for them in hobby shops

I just gave him a list, told him to look for the LV-39 looking numbers, and then told him to just get what he can. He's not going to do any searching, just if he comes across any while he's wandering around and they are on the list then he'll buy them. He's over there for work anyway, so not sure how much free time he'll have. If he comes back with zero, then so be it.

In any case I probably won't be sharing much in here anymore so if you want to know what I got just send me a message in a couple weeks.

Ah, I see. Well, you have a good chance of getting something, since they seem to be everywhere. Kyoshos are harder to come by over there.

Seriously, why can't we all just play (with our toy brum-brums) nicely?

The way i see it is:

Someone posted a link about someone buying X amount of $TH's.. Some of us expressed opinions about that (both for and against). Then some people decided to express opinions of people who were sharing their opinions...

I still personally think the guy was being greedy (it seems like a selfish act, to me). However, I don't for a second expect others to agree with my view of the situation. It's just the way i see things (you could blame it on my upbringing, i suppose).

BTW

Did i tell you all it's my birthday today?... No?.. Well, it's my birthday today and i'll be expecting accepting gifts in the shape of TLV,Kyosho etc etc from all of you.

You know the address: Dr Nessy. Nessy Institute etc etc... :D

So did I. I overpaid and it's all Cano's fault for bringing it to my attention.

Worth it though, if they redo the casting I'll get another one.

Just pawn something already, (i haven't got all day!).. Or body parts. They always fetch good money.

Nah seriously. Thanks buddy. 👍
Although I'd give my left hand for some TLVs or Kyoshos or anything else, it's my writing hand so... Not yet.

School waits for no Doctor, even you Nessy

I wonder if other VGTs will be created as diecast scale models...
I'll take both

Ah, it is your birthday, eh? Let's see if I can sabotage the cake, in order to put you asleep and steal your vast collection. I'd still leave one behind, to call it my gift to you. A fair transaction, if I do say so myself. :mischievous:

No worries, I'm merely jesting. Happy birthday, Doc, have a good one, and enjoy it to the max. And try not to steal my Datsun 510 Wagon that I bought, ok? :D

Just one among the upcoming models:

Thank you, Kakashi. Now, allow me to try throwing Money at the screen, just to see if Tomica gives me one of those;

Yeah that's gonna hurt the wallet.

Takara Tomy should include this for a warning, on each TLV box:

"Warning; this product may contain high levels of attraction. Tomica does not take responsability for excessive wallet damages, and advises owners to pay extra attention to their savings."

And I don't see many things in there that my wallet would be saved from; the Vision GT 2020 is a historical feat for both the VGT project and Tomica, the Alfa Romeo will probably exude elegance from all sides, and the Silvia is there to remind us why do we worship the TLV legacy so much in the first place (It'll blow our minds, the same way that the Skyline and the Bluebirds have done). Heck, even the Prarie would be a buy for me, and I'm not even the biggest fan of MPV's!

Yes, our wallets will beg for mercy, that's a given... :scared:
