1 thing that you'd like to be in a GT game(no requests or complaints just fantasy)

Dynamic damage model, with accurate leveling based on impact g-force. Contactable debris. Oil/Speedi Dry on surfaces. Local/Full course yellows. Random breakdowns (especially in endurance races, losing gears, cylinders, etc). Parts that wear out and need to be replaced. Having to pay for repairs.

Any and all of these things would make it so I'd have to actually drive with some fear of hitting a wall or another car. A slight contact of the wall causing the toe to get knocked out, or mess up the front downforce; missing a shift causing an overrev.

Things like this that would turn the events from hotlapping with AI on the track into actual racing.

Oh yeah, and I want 24 Hours of Daytona/LeMans with 45-60 cars on the track at the same time and different classes.

It would be cool if at one level you had to compete in this in GT2, win your class. Then revisit it again in GT1 at a higher XP level, then again with the Prototype.

All of the tracks for the Super GT Series.
All of the tracks for the DTM Series.
A couple of more NASCAR tracks.
Fully customizable A-Spec...laps, HP parameters, create events.
More cars and events for more types of cars.
24 Hours of Daytona.
Pikes Peak.
More GT Auto options (paint schemes, stripes, tires, etc).
Practically every car allowed to be Race Modded.
AI that improves as you improve.

Actual INDY CARS in the Indy 500.

More open wheeled racing cars and series... There are SO many out there, not just F1....
Even better, it could be a seperate career path through GT life. Start in karts, Formula Ford, Formula BMW, Formula Renault, Formula 3, GP3, GP2, F1. Followed by historic F1 cars :)

Live in GT.

A new mode where you are gaining experience for winning in a series. As said before, you must win karts, clio cup , bmw cup, open cup, etc. until nascar cup and f1 cup.

No need of cr here, just you got an sponsor and need to win. No overpower here.

I still think there needs to be CR. involved, as with the real world (unfortunately), but a loan / sponsorship system based on results would be neat. Race now, pay later

I would like to have a more diversed gameplay.
Since not everyone wants to complete every race (I don't want to do any of the American or the European series, but forced to do them).

NFS: Underground 2 style car customization.

Every track that ever appeared in a GT game.

Test Drive Unlimited style free roam ability.

Less useless cars & more meaningful ones, OR, make some events to make use of all these oddball vehicles.

GT2 style race events (HP & weight limits per event for each style of auto)

Stunts! :D

Ring of fire, jumps, vertical loop... đź’ˇ

And I wish we could have a "real" garage, like Jay Leno's, with customization and stuff.

Having a button that allows to perform a Fatality, Babality, Brutality or a Friendship on a Bob đź‘Ť

I want more classic cars.

I want the ford cortinas, granadas and capri's. Thrown in a Austin princess or ambassador with my "my other car is a x1" stickers :-)

Realistic parts/tuning in detail. I'm talking like choosing injector size to match the rest of the system like fuel pump, injection style, wet vs dry nitrous stuff like that but literally choosing the detail parts like nozzle sizes. Same level of detail elsewhere like choosing a gear set for the rear end and boring slightly over with matched pistons and ported heads. The gritty details like if you had a real car. And of course a real dyno tune where you can have the car sitting on the dyno and you can move parameters such as timing, fuel boost etc and have real consequences for going over board like engine failure(gotta buy a new one and everything that might have gone with it.) Real failures in racing if the car is pushed beyond it's limits.

So I guess in short more realism and detail. It would be awesome if a video game could actually teach me something about Tuning a real car whether it be suspension, engine chassis...etc.

Saved Setups for each car...maybe 10. Allow us to name them and save the best lap times from each track that setup produces including HP/weight ratio at the time.

I think OP want us to say things than it's almost imposible to be in GT5. Porches, interlagos and so on, are things that are easy to make as DLC or include in patches.

Things like a GT sandbox got a much big appeal, in my opinion.

Real great driving roads, like the Stelvio pass, "Strada de 1000 mile curvas" in Mexico and much other...possibly this could be made using google earth .

Yes, a 'Google maps track generator engine' would be great đź‘Ť. You chose a place to start from in a map and a finish point. Then just you race online with your friends. It doesn't need to be photorealistic, just adjust the road as much as they can.

-More livery customization options (Like GRiD would be enough)
-More mountain like routes (Fictional and real-life (Transfagarasan, Stelvio etc.))
-More options in the track editor.
-Every track ever seen in a GT game+ All the F1 circuits (including Yas Marinas etc.), every DTM circuit,
-Create event option
-More cars. If I list every car I would like to see in GT5 the thread would increase 8 pages. I would like to see more modern cars from the year 2010 and 2011. But also classic's like those huge Bentley's, Bugatti's, the vintage 1920's ones
-graphic improvement on shadows, smoke, and lightning.
-More dynamic feeling to the tracks. I want to see more stuff happening. Photographs, security people, more fans and people standing at the side lines. Some more action.
-Racing action. I want to see more crashes. With full on damage. Cars flying trough the air. Like in real life.
-Even more competitive AI. They almost don't overtake each other.
-More DTM cars
-More hatchbacks
-Being able to choose tuning parts from different brands
-More tuning options concerning stream lining, bumpers etc. NFS Pro Street had this cool option were you could change the shape of a part.
-Better menu structure. I hate it to go trough all the menus all the time.
-GRASS, not just flat texture
-Detailed damage model. They should model a car like it was actually build like a real car. So they should make every part and then stick it together like a real car. With off course realistic physics. This probably would take ages to do.
I don't see this coming in the next 15-20 years. But once you've finish an engine, you can place it in every car that has that engine. Same goes for gear-box, chassis but also screws, bolts and everything. This would make it possible to recreate damage as never seen before.
-More tuning options. Being able to adjust the crankshaft, pistons etc.
-Invent something that recreates G-forces, vibrations, wind, sound etc. Some sort of ultimate racing(simulation) chair.

That would make the ultimate GT I think.
