8. We get a copious amount of new Muscle :D
9. Nearly all of the Vette generations have atleast one premium model. Except for the C1 (Unless the Art Morrison counts) and C4 gens.

Art Morrison is a special/tuner build.....would really prefer a premium Grand Sport. :)

IMO its dishonest from PD. They list stealth/chromeline, RM'ed, "base model", Nascar/GT500/GT300's liveries and slight year changes (Ford Gt 05/06) as new cars. I really wonder how many of those 200 new premiums are unique. I mean, does it really make such a huge difference marketing wise if Kaz says "GT6 has 1200 cars!" and not "900"? That number is still insane, no other racing game comes close to it.

Not sure about you but a Ford GT '05 model and Ford GT '06 model are different cars, there are things that go on under the bodywork that you cannot see hence why many cars tend to have slight quirks that make them different. Not everything is noticeable by staring at the outside. It's still a different car. To be fair only the Ford GT '05 is listed as a new car, the standard Ford GT's are all gone only the '02 concept and race cars remain.
200 new premiums I doubt that unless there are prize cars that we haven't been told about, I count 123 added premiums possibly ~62 of those are actually unique GT6 has more race cars added than anything else. What I do like is they included base models of race cars so I'm guessing they are for painting and adding your own flavor(could be for incoming livery editor or vinyl application), also being a base model could also mean swapping the base engine for a full race engine as well. More things to be known as soon as we get more information. I know some cars have vanished that were in early videos of GT6 like the Silverstone video, there was an S7TT in the video but none on the car list. We will have to wait to see what else comes up.

Unlike a great many people, I hate to lose any cars in GT. I prefer them to keep them all as many cars have disappeared never to be seen again. Play GT2 and you'll see a wealth of cars that we don't see again, lots of Mustangs gone forever, manufacturers too Venturi, Vector and others without a trace. PD boasts over 1200 cars the list reached 1197 so there are cars to be announced or cars withheld for whatever reasons. We'll find out sooner or later.

The thing I'm most excited about the new car list is that we'll get to do something no one else has ever been able to do:

Drive the Ferrari FXX against the Pagani Zonda R.

Unless Ferrari went off and requested a restriction similar to the F1 cars so that FXX's can only race against each other. Which would be... disheartening.

A Getz Type R? I must have it.
You mean you want to... Get the Getz? :sly:

Getz do this ........ I'll get my coat.

Would you like to explain the differences one might find if one were to compare a real '05 and '06 Ford GT?

Clamshell fitting's between the roof and clamshell on 05's (just for aesthetics), also spring bumpers on 05's (from 2001 - 2005 Thunderbird trunks) where the 06 just has hard stops. 05's also had a screen in front of the rad that was removed the next year to increase airflow over the heat exchanger. The door latches were slightly changed. Very minor stuff and a $10,000 change in price.

These are things pointed out just from owners comparing their cars side by side and most of these were running changes not set year changes.

Doesn't matter what you think, they are still different cars. I do believe the head lamps on the '06 model are different. Aside from what changes there was to the suspension settings the engine valve timings and other things. Why are you attempting to be difficult, it's rare for special cars like these to be remotely exact from year to year, there would be no point to releasing the same thing with a different year on it without any sort of upgrades from the previous year.

I'm interested in the base model.
Speculation is, we can either change the body color, or event apply some simple decals ?

In GT5 I do prefer the standard '05 model (regular & no-stripe), it just handles better. Maybe it was just me :)
Oh and there is another one from 2001 i think with those nice concave rims.

Yeah, nobody would want a limited production run supercar a year later unless it was immediately upgraded.

There are differences between the 05 and 06 Ford GT that someone pointed out in another thread. They are all minor styling differences and not suspension or drivetrain. The Ford GT was only made in 05 and 06 model years, so obviously PD thinks it's an important car and is including both years.

1. Ferrari FXX is finally in, perfect buddy for my Zonda R and great for photoshooting.
7. The Chromeline and Stealth Machines are now readily available to us mortals.
9. Nearly all of the Vette generations have atleast one premium model. Except for the C1 (Unless the Art Morrison counts) and C4 gens.
15. I'll enjoy the hell out of the weird machines such as the XNR Ghia and the Jay Leno Toronado.

1. This so much. There wasn't really a car in GT5 that would look threatening to Zonda R. Looking forward to comparing them on Spa :P
7. I'm still not sure how is it gonna look. Maybe it's gonna be the same as in GT5 with DLC cars? It's nice if they're available to everyone, but I don't see much point in buying them, let alone placing them in the game, let alone using space for making them separate models. I'm pretty sure they're gonna be more expensive than 'standard' models and only offer slightly better performance.
9. It so doesn't (to me at least). Art Morrison Vette looks decent, but its sound made it unbearable to drive (again, to me).
15. DEFINITELY looking forward to driving the Toronado, I'd love to understeer the hell out of it :dopey: but this one is an RWD :C Also, that Ghia thingie looks very interesting.

This is the problem! :D
PD thinks. Probably in this case is "correct" put a 2005 and a 2006 Ford GT, but we know how many duplication cars are in the game. Probably PD thought also in this case that the various Toyota, Nissan, Mazda, Honda, were necessary (in my opinion only steal space to a greater variety of cars).

It's probably a lot easier to duplicate a car, especially a standard car, than to make a brand new car from scratch. So I personally think they are not there at the expense of other cars.

Surely is a lot easier ;)
The point is: if you (PD) can't/don't put new detailed cars, you can put standard cars different from the at least 40 or 50 perfect duplicates of GT-R's, Miata's etc.
PD can surely better, also only put in the game different standard cars
I love GT, but what is more simply for PD often is not the best for us

Pay attention to the new GT6 car list. Here's something I pointed out.....

5. It has Diablo GT and GT2.....but no SV.

I believe the SV is still in there. On this model Murcielago, SV stands for SuperVeloce. And item #509 on the car list reads:

509 Lamborghini Murciélago LP 670-4 SuperVeloce ’09

To further confirm this, if you go to the GT6 official website, and scroll down to the "Purchase and management of cars" section, picture 2 of the car dealership screenshots show a part of the Lamborghini dealership. The car on the very bottom right is the LP 670 - 4 SV. So thankfully, it looks like we can still get behind the wheel of this beast!

Fun fact: According to Google translate, Super Veloce translates to Super Fast. (How appropriate!) However, I do not speak Italian, so I can't confirm.

I believe FrzGT meant there's no Diablo SV included :)

And yes, Super Veloce does indeed mean Super Fast.

Doubt it dude - after all it was built here on Terra Firma, I assume though you are having a joke :sly:

They were assembled on the moon. They stayed folded up until they were ready to be deployed, because like I said they wouldn't be able to hold their own weight on Earth.

1. Bad news.... There's is NO new (2008) WRC cars and also ferrari F1's

2. They seems to make the 2005 Ford GT premium. Problem is that we have already got one....2006 to be exact.

3. The LMP, GT500, and GT300 cars you've seen in GT5 has its own base model. (And also some more cars)

4. ワークベンチではunknown_B、車名を出すもの】
’12 <-- What the heck was that?

5. It has Diablo GT and GT2.....but no SV.

6. It also has quattro S1 rally and pikes peak. As far as I know both do have differences. (One has 300 HP the other has 450 HP)

7. What's with the different version of KTM X-Bow and SRT Viper GTS?

8. And also the 2 years of Huayra. ('11 and '13)

9. Good lord the lunar rover.....

10. Hyundai Accent Rally Car and 1937 Auto Union Streamline (!) is back :)

11. What is Hyundai Click Type-R? Some says it appears in GT4 but I never see one.

Ex: You can now buy stealth and chromeline cars for more credits than normal.

More ex: Deltawing is dead! Somebody save him!
4. I got an answer for it, but it means nothing much.

The thing that put out unknown_B, the car name in workbench]
