Few disclaimers:
If I was really picking ten cars to last me the rest of my life I would buy the ten most expensive, sell them and buy the nine cars I want, plus a Furai made with 3-D Printing (and an engine that isn't run on alcohol, probably a 787B engine with a hybrid system making 900 hp without hybrid and 1200 with AWD (with 20% of the power going to the front and 80% to the rear) and the #55 livery, weighing around 500kg thanks to all the awesome graphene we can use with 300M cash...
But anyways, I will do the list properly and not be an idiot with it.
CAR NUMBER ONE
A 2015 Tesla Model S P85D Performance...
(I am assuming I can swap new and upgraded battery packs in every few years when I get rid of them due to wearing down, as that isn't replacing the car). For when the oil runs out. And to make it run out quicker...
CAR NUMBER TWO
2015 Audi RS6 Avant
Probably with a little rear spoiler like the one on the Panamera wagon concept, and maybe a bit more power, but not much (I live in a hilly area so most of these cars won't get lowered). The wife's car (when I get one) and the one for carting the family around in.
CAR NUMBER THREE
The D type from FH2 (1957 Jaguar D-Type)
My track car, obviously. Only mod would be better tyres and maybe brakes, as the LMP cars from the 50's and 60's apparently had terrible tyres according to Turn 10. (my own image of what happens when you stuff up in a car with awful tyres)
CAR NUMBER FOUR
2000 BMW Z8 (E52)
My weekend roadster. No, the Miata will not do. Not even the Superlight. Also the mid-life crisis car. Due to the plethora of BMW models, I always put in the model code even if unnessacary like in this case). I love this car. I spent around twelve hours making a 1/16 model of it which is in a prominent place in my bedroom (the only racing related stuff that is more prominent is the Red Bull Racing poster signed by Lowndes). So I can't believe I put this at four...
CAR NUMBER FIVE
2012 Volkner Mobil Performance Bus
To transport the D-Type and tuned Z4M (which is to come) to the track. The roadtrip bus, much better than the 2002 Ford Falcon (cramped) and (once) the 2003 Mazda2 (almost unbearable) that were the roadtrip cars of my youth. (also the most expensive car on my list, at 1.2M pounds)
Like this but with some timeless antiques, a modern kitchen and brown leather, the best you can buy.
And powered by lots of batteries... so when we run out of oil I can still run around in my giant bus (also the lounge becomes a bed...)
CAR NUMBER SIX
2008 BMW Z4M Coupe (E62)
I can't find the right picture, but picture it like the GT3 '11, except weighing around a ton and with 440hp. It would he like that picture but with a subtle M colours vinyl running down the sides, and the #63.
CAR NUMBER SEVEN
2008 Ford Fiesta XR4
I need a car to drive on my P-plates. This is it. It is by a huge margin the cheapest car on the list and is by far the least powerful (150hp, 1,090kg). The car is basicially a Fiesta ST with a standard Focus engine in it, which means it is both lighter, less powerful and should have more pull. Also more unique.
CAR NUMBER EIGHT
2007 Alfa Romeo 8C Coupe
My classic... or it will be in 50 years. There is no way around this. And it is even better than a Miura.
This will be the one taken out once a year in the Bay To Birdwood, the one I will do all the famous circuits in, the one that goes to Pebble Beach... (Actually I would like to do the Nurburgring in all of these cars, including the van for the lawlz)
CAR NUMBER NINE
2009 Lamboghini Mercielago SV LP 670-4
In yellow, with the small SV, not the giant SV decal that looks tacky.
Got a model of this too. But an $18 dollar one, not a $60 one. Still love it though.
CAR NUMBER TEN
1986 RUF BTR.
(you all know what it looks like)
Better than a 930. I REALLY want one.
