always serviced? I'm not too sure about that
anyway, great job guy, great to see how much power that car lost. that's really astonishing ...

Wow, I didn't realize how much the in-game resale value is affected by mileage. Yet another real-life feature that PD featured into GT4...

Well..

Time for second run. Heading for 200.000???

Let's make this car cost drop to 10 bucks.

Suggestion. Make youe save game available so we can download and test it.

whats gonna be the next feat?

Anyone willing to try the longest A-Spec in reverse on the Test Course ort Super Speedway?

LOL  X 100 Some nice test you've done, dude! Did it stop automatically at 100,000 miles or did you make it stop?

Im sure the PS2 internals are worn down halfway through its life thanks to this :sly:

i stopped it at 110,000miles,after it i left it off for maybe 12 hours and its still been running perfectly fine.
have thought about letting it now go to 200,000 but its my bday in a couple of days so ill wait to see what i get and i have a date with a ferrari FXX on saturday :sly: so might not be able to start that till next week

you should try doing that in a-spec but Drifting....it would be a challage i think i will try it but i iwll have to do it on a smaller track due to the fact that i will have to change my tires every 2 or 3 laps

dude if you want i will sell you one of the custom coolers i made all you would need to buy is ice ......it's a plasitc box type thing i made at school you put your ps2 in the box there are holes in the back of the box then you put ice in the top and the top has a fan and there are vents for the ice and that collects in a tray that is above the ps2 and is slanted that causes the water to drain in a plasict rectangle and there is a fan by the ice that circulates the cold air it doesn't get to cold and never gets hot and never gets wet it's 1000% safe and 30000% effective....so then you could let your ps2 run for like months and all you would hve ot worry about is changing the ice every once in awhile and dumping the water from the water holder....PM me about it i'll hook you up..i have no pix but i do have diagrams i could post if you want

ps about the game case i made like 7 of them if any one is interested

Amazing. I think you should run it to a million miles. If your PS2 dies, I am willing to donate $20 to go towards repair/purchase of a new PS2.

Once I get another PS2 or a PS3 I will leave it in a room for months on end to see how much abuse it can stand

Lol i can imagine the state the car would be in if that did happen in real life at the ring.

youve inspired me. i bought a ford gt and am running it around the test course. so far im at 2 hours and 20 minutes with 77 laps and theres already a very noticable drop in performance.

I have one question though. I have a slimline ps2 ( i just checked it, its not too hot ) and im going to leave it on all night. my question is should i chance leaving it on all day? Ive taken out my memory card ( dont want any chance of corrupion ) and for a plus i have my ceiling fan running on high 24/7 ( im from the north and live in crummy florida so i get really hot all the time ) so that will help a little with the heat problem.

should i chance it?

I think every bolt and screw would be at least 1/2 way out :D

Not to mention what the gear and diff oil and the wheel bearing grease looks like......if its still there :ouch:

I'm due to finish this race tonight. The PS2 will have been on for a solid 444 hours when I cross the line. Better still, it's my new slimline PSTwo. Overheating issues my arse.

Some people have experienced problems, where others have been fine. You don't know until you try really.

As far as i know, only the early slimlines had that problem. The later models still run hot, but the fan at the back knocks it up a notch at a certain temperature, it'll just be a bit louder. It should be fine.

I finally got around to doing the Nurb' 24h. I B-Specced it (I have neither the time nor the patience for a race of this magnitude). My weapon of choice: my green Camaro LM with no previous mileage. Stock, it has 631HP and is worth $212,499. 2556.0 miles/199 laps later, it has only 593HP, and is worth $194,999. It lost 38HP, and $17,500. AN oil change regained all but 7 of its HP. So mileage definitely effects price.

Plus, I got the red F1 :sly:
