Do Silvias have the same PCD and a similar offset to the Soarer? It doesn't state either in the auction, which is weird I thought that would have been one of the most important things to write on the auction description. They will suit your car though.

PCD = yes, 5x114.3

Widths are the same as I am running now.

Offsets are what I'm waiting to hear back on. I havent handed over the cash yet, so sale is conditional to that (as is purchase of my wheels from a friend).

I'll also post the pic up on nissansilvia.com and advise the sizes, someone there may have enough knowledge with the style of wheel and the vehicle to give me an accurate idea (if all else fails)

Turns out they are +33F & +41R... shouldnt be a problem :)

It'll just be the nuts that don't fit then, well that's good. You probably already have some for them do ya? If so, what colour? It's an important choice lol

If the ones I have fit the bores, I'll just keep using them... otherwise he is sending his lot with the wheels. will just be a case of checking the thread is the same before putting a wheel on.

Considering running a 3mm spacer on the rear... current rears are +38's I think, and they sit beautifully in the guards.

I know there's legality issues, but I'm not overly phased. Its not about to do any drifting or anything like that :)

Threads are different. The Silvia uses a thread pitch of 1.25 on the wheels, the Soarer uses 1.5. They are cheap enough anyway.

Cheers for that, I knew the Soarers but not the Nissans, I'll tell him not to bother including them and just use my own (hopefully)... otherwise a trip to autobarn will sort it out

arrived today and test fitted to a friends vehicle

dont look too bad at all

Ok... update time

So, took the opportunity whilst that was getting fixed to take care of all the other blemishes in the body... and also get the new bodykit fitted. Also got rid of the 18's and replaced them with a set of 19' Lenso's

Nah mate, cost vs track time = not worth it.

especially given that I'm not happy with the tune either. 316hp just isnt enough to have fun with out there unfortunately

and thanks for the kind words guys :) Its nice to have it looking close to where I want it

(although that still hasnt stopped me buying bits on ebay this week hahaha!)

Proper pic from Thursday night

Front rotors have been upgraded since then... and new tyres (fronts were f??ked... perfect timing too because it was pissing down today!)

Roof spoiler went on last night... looks great on there!

Clear indicators have arrived as well so they will be customed and fitted this weekend :)

Thanks for the kind words guys!

Yeah I'm curious to see this roof spoiler as well. And correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't clear indicators illegal?

Not if they have amber lamps, a lot of cars come out of the factory with clear lens indicators, in fact most new cars do don't they?

Yeah I've seen a few, just wanted to make sure on the aftermarket lens'.

Yes....YES!!!!!;)

Also, we finally see this roof spoiler, does indeed suit the car fairly nicely.
