I find it weird that this problem, the rear wheels lack of offset and the inactive tripmeter has not been brought up since the car must be driven during the grand tour special event.
(Only the wonky speedo is a proper bug though.)
Can I also report for premiums:
1) The M5's wheels having too much wheelbase compared with the body causing them to stick into the respective front and rear bumpers. (Standard version does not have the problem.)
2) Both front and rear wheels of the '08 Civic Type-R being too far back, especially the rears. (Cousin has one so I know it looks funny in GT5. Also many on the streets of S'pore.)
3) The S15 Silvia having insufficient track width causing the left and right wheels to be too close together and look oddly narrow. Compare it with the standard version where the wheels are almost flush with the wheel archs.
Edit: Sorry, but these are not specific to 2.06. They have been like this since launch.
Sadly, the wheelbase on the Alfa 8C is correct like that. Although it looks like the tyres are too narrow and should stand out more widely, this is like it is with the real car too. I couldn't believe how wrong it looked when I saw a 8C at a local sports car dealer but it actually seems like that in real life.
(I still could be wrong on this though, possibly the game's car has still rear wheels that are offset)
Same about some Ferraris in GT5 as well as in reality by the way, take the Enzo for example, the wheels look pretty offset but they are actually like that in real life. Same about the mirrors, while the one on left side has a normal size the one on the right is way smaller. Looks weird, didn't notice that until I've seen one in real life though, but it is replicated in GT5 too.
I'd like to provide pictures but I'm on PS3 so it's a bit complicated...
Heard a rumor there are no payouts at Motegi?
Correct, remote races online on Motegi don't pay out any rewards.
Something my friend recently told me via PM and what I tried out too, the Eclipse Spyder GTS '03 is glitched when re-painting it any colour, the colour becomes way darker than it actually is then. For example, using a white chip results in a gray body.
Pretty cool actually, when painting it matte black some parts where shadows are become totally blacked out, I keep getting asked in public lobbies what colour I painted it.
Than there's a popular glitch method in photo travel which allows you to place the car in areas where it shouldn't be able to go usually and place the camera inside the vehicle to take interior shots, didn't see that in the opening post. Pretty cool glitch making some unique pictures, I'd love if PD just ignored it and go on with GT6.
