anyone else agree that this movie is going to be gay? serious car tuners will agree just how stupid the first movie was. i was suprised to see some of the people here talk about how great this upcomming movie is going to be. Well, from the previews, I can already tell this movie is going to be horrible like the first one.

Blazin..I know this part...I'll handle the explaination..In the Skyline you'll notice it has 2 nitrous bottles....1 Is actually propane, In which they send to the muffler along with a sparkplug in place, and WALA...Blue flames...Normal flame kits just shoot out bursts of unclean unburned fuel...

And the thing is..The drivers who drove these cars..Were moderatly Skilled considering the got a Stock Evo VIII USDM Spec to run 13.4...So they arn't BAD drivers..it's crappy cars..I had no Idea a skyline could be that slow..I honestly didn't..Well a TT one anyway

I'd just like to say that it IS a movie, so you can't really say how pathetic it is that those cars are slower. A racing documentary is one thing, but with an actual movie whats the point of spending all of that money when they will just use special effects and camera tricks to make it look like they are fast anyway?

I think you missed his point.

The cars speed and engine claims probably aren't going to be real because its a movie. They filmed it a certain way, and they did what they needed to the cars to do that. They aren't going to fully supe a car if it doesn't need to be, or would make it harder to shoot.

Ok, but they aren't making this movie by filming fast cars race. I don't get your point, Shinez. They are making a movie about cars going fast, and they can do that with the cars that they have. Its a big budget movie and they obviously aren't just filming real cars racing. I doubt they care that their cars are slower because their aim is a movie, not fast cars. Who cares if they aren't actually super fast? The cars will look fast in the movie, thats the point.
