2 Player Drift Videos

AWD cars do all the work, all you have to do is slap sim tires on the car and give it a jerk to the side, or pull the ebrake. So easy to control. There is a reason why nobody drifts AWD cars, I would imagine in real life it would be a pain in the arse with all the giving traction to the front and stuff.

RWD cars are true drift cars, require true skill in the game. It doesn't really bother me all that much that you guys use AWD cars, I just like messing with people, so don't take it as an attack at you or anything like that.

About my vid, this one came out a bit too big for some reason, I was using a different capture card. This one is 9MB and just as long (I feel like a whore, whoring around my vids in someone elses thread).

Just use Kazaa or Bit Torrent to get Vegas Video 4. It comes with all you need. Its a bit of an odd process IIRC, but you should be able to get it. I think you install as demo then put in serial, then restart and you get full access.

Oh and about my drifting and such, ya I'm not the greatest. I need a wheel. I am using the PS1 controller, so no pressure sensitive buttons or anything, so everything is choppy.

Plus I threw this vid together quickly, too lazy to really try. No real mods besides power and suspension, but didnt do any changes besides camber and dropped.

well dont worry about the anolog, i think the anolog is just as good as the Wheels, i wish i had the wheels also, but no money, well about the 4WD, its tuff using Super soft, since you mension about sims, i dont use sim, but sims are cool, i might use sim someday

1. AWD cars are easier to drift for ME, but i dont really think it's "Cheating". As for others, like my friends, they think AWD drifting is harder, so they like to stick with FR. Depends who you ask.

2. DRIFTSTER - Whos that women in your icon thingy?

Depends what they learnt to drift in, and what techniques they use.

I first tried drifting in an FD that I got settings off the internet with sticky tires. Then stuck with sticky tires, but of course its not as showy all the time, but great for big turns, not long, but big hairpin like things. But in my volume 7 i had sports tires in the rear, which is true poor drifter style :D.

The only reason I never bought the wheel is cuz its not a full turnin radius. I "try" drifting in real life, but if I go from 2 and a half turns to like half a turn (or whatever it is), its gonna mess up my flow.

So GT4 will be the ****, everything is gonna be like me in my car, except the wheel is smaller, its got no true shifter, and no clutch. But its all good. They really should release an arcade GT4. I've seen thier setups in the vids. They should make something like that for Arcade, but I guess adding the clutch will still be a *****, so just use the wheel and pedal set they are selling. And have the ability to load your garage.

well, i will always drift with an anolog, because cant afford the damn wheel, so too bad for me, and good luck for you all with the wheels, i think using the wheels dont make you better, its just how well can you perform your drift, the anolog and the wheels is almost the same, its just that the wheel can make your tires turn sideways all the time, well thats my opinion

Ya the wheel is an essential for realistic smooth drifts.

My fingeres arent sensitive enough for the analog sticks so its usually full opposite lock or straight. Looks like **** in vids if you watch the front wheels, and also you can see the drifts arent smooth.

Have you ever tried drifting in real life. Steering is key, you won't do too well if you don't modulate the steering enough.

Also how much gas you give it is key. You probably floor the car, or tap it, when you should be smoothly increasing the gas or decreasing.

Its easy to drift using the controller cuz you can just get a high HP car and it'll do a lot of the work for you. But try drifting a close to stock car (engine wise), it will be hard in a stock car. It can be done though. I've drifted an s13 with nothing but 1.5 way lsd, and suspension (on stock tires). It was hard though cuz most of the tracks are high speed, but with the right steering and throttle control I could do it a lot better.

i think you can drift with an anolog smooth, but it looks better drifting with the wheels, maybe i'l save money and buy me the GT3 wheels, i bought this stupid Logitec wheels, and it freaken sucks, when i steer, it didnt even move until its 30 degree angles, it raelly sucks, what a waste of $30

My cousin isn't that bad at drifting for as little time he's spent doing it. Maybe I can get him to practice some before I get my vid card in Nov.

All my friends suck...My girlfriend, sadly, can kick my ass at drifting. I'll make a 2 player drift thing soon if I can convince her to be in it. :)

ALSO, Night_Drifter, get Akina over your house or whatever, I want more 2 player drifting action..NOW... ;)

thanks for the commanding, dont worry about it, i alraedy have some twin drift already, but i need an old PS2, because the new PS2 wont let the angle stays the same, i dont know what im saynig but im saying like you cant get the camera angle to be in the same position, the old PS2 can only do that, well something like that, but im waiting for Akina to get his old PS2 at my house so i can get the video in my computer and make some more!!

well on sundays, akina came over and we did some twin drifting, but like not really close, but it was pretty good, like 10 minutes of it, i think imma put the Initial D GT3 together with the other twin drift or 2 player drifts, so i can make the movies longer, whats cool is that we made FF drift with FR, i drove the white 180sx drifting with Akina's Integra Type R Ass draggin, it looks great, man when i get home from school imma start working on it, so i will get it by wednesday i hope

Hey i have a question. What Old silvia are you using? 1800cc or 2000cc? And if you could :D what are your settings? I am scared to try and build one myself. I don't do so well with old cars. I just want to know what you use because you and akina just LOCK it sideways. You two own, i don't care what anyone says.
