You left out the all important "to me" qualifier at the beginning. Because the whole point of GT games is the same as every other game... to have fun. However you get your gearhead fun is fine by me (so long as it doesn't step on anyone else's fun, no one likes a griefer).

Yes, resale value is a flat 30% for every car. So all in the 20 million club sell for 6 million.

(bit stupid when you think about it though... the classics like a GTO should really appreciate over time rather than give a flat 70% depreciation once you get it home)

Since that last download came out, hasn't this been patched already? I still have extra cars, but someone said that the latest in-game download was a fix.

Defenitely. While there are cars I really want that cost hundreds of thousands or millions of credits, I don't feel the need to have them right now. The game isn't even a week old yet after all.

yup! all 20mil cars it's only 6mil.

if you already done bought your favorite car. just sell the all VGT into 20mil cars. (except X12-14).
but save 1 vgt. sell it. and then bring the 20mil credits to v1.1 and sell the 20mil cars in v1.1, because v1.1 have 50mil Credits Limit
 
Just because I enjoy the chase, are any of the cars above 1,000,000cr given as rewards at any point? If so, which? I'll just earn those the hard way.

you cant do it , i also have psn version and it seems you cant delete the patch ...... time to get to the ascari race glitch lol ;)
 
I am totally against cheating, but for some reason, I approve this and I'm am also tempted to do this once I get the game. The only reason why I would do it is in protest against micro transactions and the way PD seemed to ignore out feedback on improving the prize system in the game.

I probably just do it once since the update is kind of heavy for my internet.

Me neither. I want to recreate my Bugatti Veyron in my avatar pretty badly but not this badly.
 
Merry Christmas to all who take their chance to easily get 20M and spent an hour or so just watching cars in dealer store, considering how to spent money in the best manner. it could be a big plus for the game in general. we will see how they react on this affair :)

spending time in shop and wondering what to buy is a part of gt spirit for me.
this glitch... it should be limited to 1 shot and treated as a xmas gift. other way it could turns out we will be the bad and greedy..

gt6 is what i expected with luna missions ahead. what a feature! i was teleported to luna and had a chance to look on things from other side. and now with this glitch im more than happy and content. i love kaz philosopy in this area even if this its only pure maeketing i still want to be naive and believe this guy :sly:
 
I bought all cars and I regret nothing. I made a backup on USB to make sure I won't lose my cars because of the annoying stockyard bug.

You can do it if you're willing to delete the game and re-download it! If you've got a good internet connection I'd reccomdnd it!
 
I just hope they don't patch this before I get the game. Again, I don't like cheating, but I think this is a good payback at Sony (hopefully not PD) for the microtransaction bull crap.

It is IMPOSSIBLE to patch this. For this glitch you'll have to delete all updates. Meaning it'll revert to 1.00. Meaning all patches are useless. There's only one way to fix this: have PD/Sony announce a recall and make everyone with the original game get a v1.01 on disc.
TD DR: It's not fixable

You've read that sentence a lot of times but didn't read the other:

It's possible to patch this making 1.01 (or other) saved game data impossible to open in 1.0 version. Like it was in GT5.

I think the same as you, this is V1.0 problem. they didn't insert the new VGT data into the Disc/1.0DigitalDownload.

maybe they can repatch the v1.0 for Digital Download. but..... the Disc? :)
 
Or the most likely fix they can do is to make the vision GT cost 20 million to buy in game, with a patch. That way there would be no profitable resale by reverting to V1.0

I´m not going to try this since I don´t want to loose or damage my saved data. Just in case. I have 1 million credits, 50 cars, Anniversary Edition ones, and more than 50% of the game completed...imagine if something happens.

I will play the game as it is. PSN version here.

Well the game released December 6th, let's say you got yours 2 days early, and played a lot every day.
I imagine you'd lose "a week" of play time. ;) (that's assuming you somehow can't do it, even though everyone else can)

I haven't done the glitch, but from what I've heard there are no problems with losing data or money, because even if you deleted your whole save, you'd have money and replace everything except those completion stars, right?
