20 million credits for free!

Here's an interesting one for you. Why do PD make $'s so hard to come by when, as seen here, a clear majority of GT players don't like it? I mean isn't the idea of a game for people to have fun playing it?

What is so wrong with letting us use the cars which are provided in the game? Does it break the game? Does it end the world? Come on PD, for GT7, instead of spending months trying to find ways to stop us having cars, how about you let us drive the beasts you went to such effort to create. I know its a crazy idea, but it just might be crazy enough to work...

You can, but it's more difficult. You'll have to delete the whole, then re-download the game. When you start the game, it'll ask you to download 1.01. Say no and viola.

It's actually easier if you have the PSN version of the game and can get your hands on a physical copy of the disc. No downlading/deleting required.

I'm laughing my ass off at the people doing this and then complaining when the game gets screwed up as a result.

Also heard a rumor that the Stockyard glitch is related, that the cars there are being deleted when you do this.

In any event, I fail to see the point. I'd rather just play the game than rip it apart. But that's just me.
Stockyard glitch has nothing to do with money glitch I had cars in the stockyard and they disappeared before I done this glitch.

what a crazy idea - imagine wanting to love the game that they made, defend the game that they made, explore and enjoy the game that they made.. AND have a life.. what a crazy idea.. in fact... you better be careful.. people will start accusing you of being a radical!! LOL :D

Its rather easy to roll everything back which has been unruly purchased. Not exactly what people want, but nor does PD want to lose its ways in microtransactions.

You want to see a real PR mess? Let even a whiff occur among gaming news sites that PD has started directly deleting/altering people's locally stored game saves to protect their own incompetence at shilling microtransactions. It's rather telling that they didn't even do that when people started hacking DLC cars into their garages for GT5; where the cause and effect relationship (as well as the actions required by the player) was much more blatant.

Is it normal if your car images disappear and you have to update the images? This takes a long time...

What I did was buy 20 mercs in 1.01, then go back to 1.00 and buy cars, sell a merc, buy cars again until I had all the cars I wanted. Then I used the "click all" option, and downloaded all the images while I did something else.

Brainwave here. You can do this with two hard disks instead of two PS3s if you really wanted to. Just make sure one hard disk is at 1.00 and the other is at 1.01. If you do it with this method (without ever patching either) then the glitch will work indefinitely.

I have never had a secondary hard drive. First, is it difficult to format a second hard drive? Secondly, is it difficult to interchange between the hard drives?

Yeah wow what do you know
tried it
****ed it

lost all my 25th anniversary cars for nothing

wish i'd never been told about this glitch

How exactly did you lost them?

All my 25th An. cars appeared with a yellow ! but I went to PSN tranfers and got them again.

The same as with the Vision Merc, it's just that the M4 doesn't cost you 1million each time you buy it.
You sell them in 1.00 and buy the 20m credit cars with the money you make. You then take these 20m credit cars in to 1.01 where they can be sold for 6m each.

The process once more:

Buy an M4 in 1.01 (don't get in the car though!)
Save your game
Exit game and delete the 1.01 game data file to restore to 1.00
Load game and reject the prompts to upgrade to 1.01 or to sign in to PSN
Sell M4 for loads of money (but your balance will max out at 20million)
Save game and exit
Load game again, this time downloading 1.01 when prompted
Buy loads of M4s with your 20m (don't get in them)
Save game and exit
Delete the 1.01 update again to revert back to 1.00
Sell one of your M4s and bag your 20m and head to the dealership to buy one of the 20m credit cars (Miura, GT40 etc)
Bank balance should now be zero
Go back to your garage and sell another M4 and buy another 20m credit car
Repeat until all your M4s are gone (when you've sold your last M4, don't buy a car with the cash. Keep the 20m)
Save your game
Exit and load up GT again, this time upgrading to 1.01
You'll now have loads of 20m credit cars which can be sold for 6million each, plus 20m in your bank.

Why would you take a bunch if 20 million cars back only to sell them for 6 million?

Buy a boatload of m4s, delete 1.01, load up 1.00, sell one m4, buy 20 million worth of cars, then sell another m4, and buy 20 million worth if cars, repeat. When you've got only 1 m4 left to sell, sell it banking 20 million, then update to 1.01. You can do all your buying in Ver 1.00.

I believe he is future-proofing for when the "patch" officially arrives.

How much does the M4 and the Merc cost?
