Anyhow, I just thought of something. I remember I talked about Panoz. Now if the Panoz boys wanted to stay in the big leauges, why not make a second-generation of their Esperante GT1 (as seen in Gran Turismo 3 for a "cheap" 2,000,000 Cr). And I am not talking about that glorified Esperante that I seen with GT1 badging out now, I mean something similar to the aerodynamic, wide-bodied, sexy at speed, candy to the eyes, a demon to race... yeah, you know what I mean. And if I'm not mistaken, they have to make at least a homologated copy of the race car (except LMPs). Panoz needs to bring back their Front/Rear Esperante GT1 from the late 1990s. And what the heck... make a second-generation GT1 with hybrid power (can you recall the Panoz Q9? It was purple with little lightning streaks on the sides.)

That's last year's list. Notice the Bentleys, which we know aren't returning, neither is the Olive Garden Ferrari, or Joest Audi, or any of the Panozes, etc...
And no one said the Panoz Esperante GTR1 would be running ALMS, the LeMans 1000km was it's last race ever.

Nope, sorry, that list is last year's. The TVR's are on the 2003 list because they ran at Sebring, the Lamborghini GT-R is from Vici Racing (not Reiter Engineering), which was going to attempt Sebring but dropped out. And we already knew Saleens were going to run this year.
You might also notice that the list doesn't say anywhere on it '2004'.

The Spyker only raced at Sebring, as did the Pagani (it only lasted a handful of laps), and the Alegra M3 only ran a few races in 2003. The Saleens also ran a handful of races as well (but did very poorly due to their weight penalty).
And they haven't updated the list because they themselves don't even know exactly who is going to be entering in the season.
The list is old, face it.

In other news, Team Elite will be entering a Lotus Elise GT1 (more then likely a former FIAGT car) into the LMP1 class for Sebring and other races of the 2004 ALMS season in preperation for a two-car team in 2005 and entry to LeMans itself.

Solid Lifters, I don't mean to do this, but that looks almost exactly like the 2003 Sebring Entry list. I swear it does, cause that is in the list order in the program I got, exactly.

Elite where did you hear that news?!?!? How creadible is it?!?!? It did well in GT racing for the single year it ran in the world GT championship (considering it had a crap driver line-up). Any more picks??!?!? This better not be a gag otherwise you're dead!!! . That's phenominal, I'm gonna keep my eye out for that. Lotus back in GT racing.... ooo yes!!!
